I was fortunate enough to have met Jimmy at the Sheraton Hotel on Singer Island Florida in 1981(?). I was sitting at the bar enjoying the Reggae band that was playing and Jimmy walked up to the bar next to me, ordered a drink and started chatting with me. My initial response was: I know who you are and you’re blowing my mind right now. He laughed. I laughed. We hung out for a couple of hours. He had come to see the band because he ended hiring a couple of them. Such a nice man. I will surely miss him.
