People are too stupid to make right decisions and they remain poor as a consequence, even in countries with free education.... there is still a divide between rich and poor... even if you paid everybody the same every year there still would be people that understand how to sacrifice their lifestyle invest and make more money by making their own t4ades ... poverty is a mind set.. My grand father was orphaned... my father also ophpaned... both became succesful... it's a choice like anything else in life.

@Wendy Regis Why? Because most men get married early and divorced and loose half their assets to women in those divorces. Don't forget the expensive DREAM wedding. Because they have multiple kids they can't afford and they go on vacations they can't afford because "life is short and you live it up" and the "world is too big and life is too small" bullshit. and they buy houses on mortgages they can't afford which they have to pay for over DECADES or because they have to pay their multiple auto loans they can't afford or pay for colleges of their multiple kids. In between a second divorce happens and BOOM half of the aseets GONE. Home GONE. Alimony payments. Child support payments. Taxes etc etc etc That's why.

      AnimalHouseforReal
Helping everyone in the world won't solve the overall problems that occur in most society.
Some people are in poverty due to circumstances but others are in it because they aren't self sufficient. When you understand that there are just some people in the world that don't want to work for what they have. Then it puts burdens on others to take up the slack.
None of these things are an easy fix. I'll give you an example.
For a few years now some countries have been testing out Universal Basic Income and in all of the countries where people just got free money. These people didn't show any incentive to want to work harder or improve their lives.

Some even used violence to stop strikes. It's rare to actually come across anyone who genuinely cares.

Then I realize I need a extra niche to my business ! Flipping cats motorcycles ! Four bikes ! People buy expensive s things don’t take care of them ‘n they sell it cheap ! Cheap enough for us to fix up and usually with Facebook and offer up and u can make money on a lot of items Rvs ! Toys !so what he basically said he is out by 4 has the world by the balls by ! Early bird gets the worm !!! First to start late to finish makes you a valuable person !!! This was one of DW's best documentaries show the struggles of different individuals from different parts of the world. Unfortunately inequality is a bitter pill to swallow and will always be there and has been there even in the past. The gentleman, Pierre is an orator and knows what he is talking about, I wish all the best for him. My country Kenya indeed has inequality and always has been there. I just pray our government could come up with a system to rehabilitate people who leave in the streets as well as those in informal settlements and train them with skills that can sustain them for the rest of their lives. Education is not enough to help someone through life..they need people skills as well. By doing that the economy gradually grows as youth unemployment. Lastly, Health care is also another issue.

no we are the problem the rich is only rich because of us we support , boycott for an hour see how fast the stock market crash see how many will be poor , but forcing their hands are the only way but just do your individual deed when you can when you can spare change , a meal, clothes , books , you name it just help you can even volunteer ,i say living this life without a purpose isn't living at all ,

You are right speaking from your context, but within this context, you wouldn't understand. For instance, who would stay with the baby? There are no daycares in the ghettos, and they wouldn't afford a nanny. That's why she has to nurse the baby till he reaches school going age. This is not America.

I saw real poverty in a Mexico slum, when I was 15. People living in shacks. Children begging in markets. That made an impression on me. I’ve volunteered to help the less fortunate since. They’re all human beings. I never forgot that. I never forgot to extend a helping hand. My sons started volunteering from the age of 6. They’re adults now. They still volunteer.

I came to the US from a poor country, with no money, no contacts, no knowledge of my way around here and 15 years later I'm making a good living for myself, realizing my dreams. Inequality is a reality anywhere you go and there will always be the rich and the poor, that's how it is. The difference between the have and the have nots in the developed countries is a matter of freeing yourself of your negative state of mind and laziness. Have a plan, work hard and smart and you'll make it. It bothers me when I see Americans complaining about inequality while living in the most prosperous nation in History. If you can't make it here, you can't make it anywhere.

Then both Lazarus and the rich man died... (fast forward), Then the rich man told Abraham to tell Lazarus to go into the earth and warn his brothers. (Who were obviously rich)
(.on other stories), Jesus says, "it will be harder for the rich to enter heaven." Why did He say that? Well, as is required in the Kingdom of heaven, people need to share wealth with the poor and help the needy, but, billionaires and millionaires are busy gathering up that wealth for themselves and their families, overlooking Lazarus on the street daily. Lazarus looks dirty and beat up. They go to church and praise the Lord yet overlook people who need their help because they think they are better than the next person in tattered clothes. They have been taught by their father, the great deceiver, that other people are just lazy and need to work for their own, the same deceiver who put that spirit of laziness on the other person. They have been taught that they need to step on people to get what they want in life. Their wants fade when they die though. Because contentment never comes. Same devil who makes the poor man poor so he can curse God, also makes the rich arrogant so they wont help those in need.

The Bible may not say share the wealth in those exact words but it says to love your neighbor and allowing your neighbor to suffer when you can help them isn't very loving! It says if you don't love your brother who you have seen, how can you love God, whom you haven't seen! And it also says that it's easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to go to heaven! It also says that the love of money is the root of all evil!
