I think this rod is good for lake trout fishing. For saltwater rock fishing it is better to watch other models. for example Xesta Black Star

Sony Sugiharto I think the 3000 models from shimano all have flat spools and they aren't as good for long casts as the normal ones... All in all still a great reel

Patience pays, sometimes. Perhaps could freespool sooner as it was risky to keep tension on while fish is hiding among rocks.

weird sound this Nasci, is that normal?
Marco When the Spool and the drag are under pressure, the line doesn't float as fluid as without pressure through the rings of the rod. So the line makes the Sound and yeah it's normal espacially when a strong fish is on

Se fosse stata piu' grande col caz.... la prendevi...quelle dimensioni l'ultra light sarebbe il 0.12mm nylon non floro con qui a volte ci capita di prenderle. Comunque un posto molto bello per pescare.
