i am thinking of getting a 9ft rod for shore jigging , casting lures. im not into those super long surf rod. how is the casting distance of the pilk rod? thinking of getting the 100-200g lure range.
I think a 9-foot rod is short, to throw a lot of Lure 100-200 grams - it's most likely for jigging from a boat. In addition, 100-200 grams too much weight for the shore jigging techniques.
