Husqvarna FE350 Trail Ride.. | Different Strokes For Different Folks

- After a few weeks spent riding my 2018 KTM 250 XCW, I am not sure there is another bike out there that will put a smile on my face the same way. From the lightweight chassis, to the luggability on the bottom end, there is a reason why you don't see any four strokes for the most part in Enduro competitions.
That being said the Husqvarna FE350 is a fantastic machine. From the linear power curve to the well balanced ergonomics, I would prefer this bike on more wide open terrain. It's no trials bike, but as stated in the video it has its purpose and will suit many riders needs just fine.
Let me know what you think!

hey congrats man you hit 500 vids and ive almost been watching 2 years now keep up the great content!
It’s be cool to get your friends thoughts on your bike too. Hook a camera and mic up.
Great vid tanner keep up the good work!
How many bikes do you have😂 but all seriousness great vid
Good times that was a nice bike 💯✌️👍
It would be cool to see more wheelies lol
Do a video on the yamaha ttr 125
When you pulled up to Alexis I thought it was the kid on the 85 lol
Love the videos guys.
Thanks man! Any time!
started watching during the quad video and honestly wasn't into bikes until your videos lol I put a 1982 yz 125 in a 125cc china atv frame and she rips lmao
I'd like to see that !!
Great videos man. Subscribed. What state are these trails in? Much nicer dirt than we have here in contral NC. Nothing but rocks here.
Got to get over here to the mountains of western NC/TN. Enjoy. ✌🏽
Lowering the suspension does not change the Peg to seat relationship. Harder to stand up?
Turn off the TC, it'll be more natural riding. Rarely using the TC, prefer stick with the MAPPING 2. I rode FE250 for a year and it's very easy to ride, the power delivery was smooth, but the response was snappy. The cons of my bike are tend to stalling while lugged the gear on 2nd just to earn the torque rather than use the 1st gear. Very easy to hit the limiter, the 2nd and 3rd gear was torquey but make sure the RPM was proper unless the bike goes stall over and over again
How does the springs being lowered 1” make the bike too small for you & unable to stand up??
I just love 2 strokes
How tall are you ? Just wondering because you said with the suspension work it’s to small for you.
Wish i could ride all those in a day lol
Have you rode any Betas yet?? I love my 350rr😍
You mentioned your 2t. I’m on the fence between getting this bike (FE350) or the TE250 2t. Which one do you prefer for all around use and riding as a main bike. Thanks!
Omg same have u decided yet????
@@josephmv1437 Yes. We actually picked up three bikes. TE300i, TE250i, 250XCF-W. The 300 TE300i or the 300 XC-W are where it’s at. The more I ride it the more I love it and despise other bikes. It does the technical stuff so effortlessly. I was on an advanced/expert level trail in Central Utah a few weeks ago and it was awesome. The 4 strokes struggle because they stall and flame out so much. You need to be using twice the amount of throttle (or more) to accomplish the same thing. The newer TPI bikes are just awesome. We’ve played with the power valve a little and find as we back it out it feels like a 4t in the sense that the throttle and acceleration are very linear and predictable without the powerband. And they are so dang easy to maintain compared to the 4t. The 4 stroke 250xcf-w is the one my daughter rides. I’ve ridden them both a lot and the 300 2t just performs so much better in every way. The only significant difference we can tell between the 250 and 300 two-strokes is that the 300 has a little more bottom end grunt when doing big hill climbs or serious slow grunt work but it’s not a huge difference. I’m 6’2” and 220 and the 250 2t will do anything I ask of it. The XCF-W is a great trail bike but the TPI 2 strokes just feel so much better and are so much easier in technical and climbs. If all your doing is single track or old fire road riding with no obstacles or technical stuff then it probably won’t matter. But for an all around bike the newer 300 TPI bikes are my choice. We rode with 4 other guys on that trail who were riding 450’s and they all struggled so freaking hard. The 450 is definitely NOT a trail bike.
@@purtnearperkins man, that’s an awesome comment. I have a couple dual sports but going to get a Husky for the woods and like the other guys wasn’t sure which between the 2T and the 4T. Thanks for the info and opinion. 🍻✌🏽
I think you should do a bike build for Marlow dude no man left behind
How does lowering the suspension change the ergonomics/size? The peg to seat, peg to bar & bar to seat distances do not change, they remain exactly the same... sitting or standing.
It’s hard to explain, more of a mental thing really, I just felt way too close to the ground.
Exactly my thoughts I liked this channel at first but he no respect for other riders or the group he rides with always cutting people off and leaving people behind!
Attention Deficit its better overall for short guys, but even when you’re tall you see the benefits when it comes to hard enduro and road riding
@@AdventureDaily that 1” though lol
Where are you riding at in this video brotha ?
Am looking to get a first bike ever and learn, looking at the FE350 or the te150ti...whats your take on it? tks
That bike with stock springs, fmf silencer and a mega bomb gets instant power compared to stock
How does the noise level compare to a 250sxf? My motocross bike is far too loud
Did you speed this video up? You are FUCKIN bookin it lol
How did you get that blurring effect on your camera?
Lowering the bike doesn't effect ergonomics i.e seat to peg ,seat to bar height etc...It can ,however effect handling ie trail ,and can affect the way it steers .........Saying the bike is now too small is a load of crap.Should refrain from commenting if you don't know what the hell your talking about!
Compared to the crf 300L?
what bike is Alexis on?
Speaking of lowering a bike, is there a good way other than Seat Concepts? I want a WR250R but most riding will be street so I want to be able to flat foot it. And I don't like all the hacks, the Yamalink looks bad, same suspension travel so it can hit the fender. May have to go CRF250L, should be good stock and definitely with a different seat.
I'd just go with the CRF if that's all your after. It's lower to the ground and is a little bit less "dirt bike-ey".
But overall, I'd choose the WR just because it's a bit more aggressive from the factory in comparison to the CRF but that doesn't mean you can't have the CRF aggressive.
Now wait a minute. You said that since he lowered the suspension you felt cramped now on the bike. That shouldn't have changed the ergos between the foot peg, handlebar, and seat should it? They should still be the same, unless he put on a lower seat. Am I wrong?
You are correct!! More of a mental aspect for me being low to the ground.
🤣🤣🤣
The lowering made the Husky too small for you now.
Dam second
👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
TE150 for the Misses.
Quack
Yo dude I’ve been watching your videos for a long time it be nice if you could say one thing about the fucking Grom
Nice bike
My butt would be so sore. I can't sit like that all the time
His riding style is def seated A LOT. I couldn't ride like that.
Sitting while riding is bad habits, but you automatically stand up in some situations, but standing up the whole time is def a betr choice, more controlable.
Ktm xfc 350br549
and you cannot lug a 4t like a 2t
third
Huskys are Ktms
First
Husky and ktm are the same
Tanners KTM is a 2 stroke, that Husky is a 4 stroke.
That Husky is a 4 stroke, you might want to go back. Ha ha.
You won't progress if you don't learn to stand up
5:55 you can't just blame the bike, you didn't even have a finger on the clutch
True what a dweeb.
