👏👏👏 God. BLESS YOU!!! You are doing these parents a huge service that they have no idea about. Your church needs to thank God all the more for you. We left a church we attended for the longest time because they kept adding things to distract the kids. When they finally added a wall full of screens, with one that had a game console, I knew that was the last straw. It confirmed the fact that it was a seeker-friendly "church" and not a God-glorifying one. I've never looked back 👍

💯 I’m an “adult” but honestly I don’t know a thing about anything. And as truth keeps spilling out from every direction I felt even more lost. But Jesus man, my lord has guided me through this. One cannot walk this earth without Jesus, it’s too dark and we’ll stumble, his light illuminates our path, I understood this more effectively this year especially as this world is crumbling. I’m just a big kid honestly. With an adult body and more responsibility’s and stress. I was delivered from the Jezebel and the veil of delusion (because of Disney) a year ago, I had so many demons oppressing me from the age of 3 I didn’t get to develop because they hindered my growth in all aspects of my life. I didn’t have the chance to grow honestly it was a road block. But Glory to God! Life is good! The world is on 🔥 but me and my little family are inside eating popcorn and ice cream not even looking out the window. Just being comforted in our humble home and reading his word and giving thanks to the almighty. God bless you brother!

I feel like just a big kid, I mean I hold it down as a wife but unless you’ve been delivered you wouldn’t know what I’m talking about. It's the thing we would be most excited for if we had more children, to have the Lord in our hearts and the forefront of our minds with raising them from the start. ❤️
It's sad how gone that concept is today....even in most "Christian" homes I know of they aren't about that. There are casual stories or dumping them off on church staff for daycare but no real significant engagement as a family.

Amusement park attractions at your church in your kids ministry is wrong too. 😅 I told my son we are only going to visit that church a few times a year. For fun only. Lol A lot of Christian outlets are watering down the gospel. Because we don't want to suffer for Christ. He was clear...in this world you WILL have trouble, and if anyone desires to follow me he must first deny himself take up his cross and follow me. Whoever loses his life will find it. And he who finds his life will lose it. Christians do not want to suffer for the gospels sake and the last days are evident. So we are distracting ourselves as much as we can to not feel the birth pains.

I banned Cocomelon a couple of years ago. Although I was worried about my childrens' brains being melted to mush, my own sanity was being pushed to the limit. I allowed my one year old son to watch it during the big C, and it caused me so much stress. I know this sounds ridiculous, but when I heard the songs being played every single day over and over, it was almost like i was a prisoner being tortured at war. That's literally what it was like. It obviously didn't help that it was during the big C and everyone was cooped up all the time. It seriously caused so much psychological torment that I wondered what it was doing to my own kids. After only a few months, I banned it from my house. The characters, the way they look, their mannerisms, the music, everything about it gave me the creeps. My husband wondered why I was so adamant, and I told him, "if you want me to go insane and our kids' minds to turn to mush, I will go ahead and put it on." He stopped asking after that. He was only asking because our son at the time was still super into it. That's another thing that got to me, was how our kid was like having withdrawals from not watching it. I now believe the Holy Spirit was giving me discernment about certain shows including that one. Low and behold within a few months from banning it, my oldest daughter told me there was an episode that was super questionable. That was my confirmation from God that I did the right thing. Blippi is another creepy show that has been banned in our household. I could go through a huge list of shows that have came and went in our household. Ryan's World is another one. I just get the feeling that God wants my children especially to stay off of UA-cam. They don't have social media, I find that totally futile and the opposite of what I believe God wants. UA-cam is very limited these days and anything watched has to be approved by me or my husband first. Most of the time we say no. There is just so much garbage out there. If it's not about God, we say no, unless it's educational. There are some useful channels out there that actually teach kids. As parents you have to be super careful what's going into your children's brains and spirit. You really have to rely on God and allow the Holy Spirit to guide you. With the world we live in, you never know what our children are actually taking to heart and believing.

We adopted two small children from foster care who had literally been raised on television. Their behavior was so awful that they had been in over eight different homes. We don't have television, but at first, I had tablets for them. But the Holy Spirit convicted me to throw them away. I threw their tablets, and mine as well, in the trash can after smashing them with a hammer. Within five minutes, I got spiritually attacked and instantly came down with COVID. Made the enemy mad! Get rid of television, tablets and smart phones. Don't let your kids play with the laptop the school sends home. It is all absolute poison, and opens MANY spiritual doors for the enemy to get in through. The difference in my kids now is just astounding. They have literally won awards at school for politeness, and are both above grade level in reading. They have a very advanced vocabulary. It makes me so happy to see them happily playing their creative games and making things. It is very hard to go against the world and its way of doing things. But James says that "a friend of the world is an enemy of God." Pretty scary! Let's not be friends with the world.

My son was so addicted he would wake up screaming in the middle of the night!! It was so scary I started praying over him and God showed me it was Coco Melon. He showed me that this show was not good for my two-year-old son, it was an addiction (drug) to children’s minds. This was 3 years ago. It was so hard to remove this show from our home at first but with the Power of God, I was able to. My son is speech delayed and is not able to understand instructions but we have come a long way! I pray all parents wake up because our children need us as vigilant parents not sleeping with them on our phones and iPads. Thank you for this video! I personally lived it and I believe this show is very demonic! It's not right to have this much power in children's minds.
I cried out to the Lord and he Answered! Glory To God!

Good stuff, brother. My daughter is 1 year old and I've been disinclined to sweat the details of her verbal development because I was speech-delayed and so was my father, but I have noticed that Cocomelon has immense power to distract her. Generally, the only time we play it for her is when she's eating, but she frequently stops chewing while it plays. For that reason and general concern about addiction potential, we are in the process of weaning her off it. My parents were big CCM collectors throughout my childhood, so I play a lot of good music for her and I play a little of The Tick for her every day as a superior, funnier alternative to Cocomelon. Both the music and the cartoon get smiles out of her, so that makes me happy. She was very verbal early on (baby talk) and has slowed down a bit since, possibly due to the Cocomelon, but I am cautiously optimistic that our adjusted strategy is yielding improvements.
Incidentally, I stumbled across your channel yesterday and I have to say as one who grew up in a Word of Faith church, it is deeply refreshing to see such good doctrine coming out of the mouths of the young (I'm 41, for what that's worth). You have not disappointed me yet, so I think I'm going to subscribe. 🙏

I always advise when you do put on screen time, ALWAYS watch stuff with your kid, finding things you can enjoy together. Put on shows / movies you grew up with. Slow pased shows are best to start like Mr. Roggers, and maybe some older movies. If you put on any newer made shows / movies, watch along side and look for any elements of low effort bare minimum content to babysit a kid and try to avoid those. I would almost stray completely away from all newer shows with exception to Bluey as its extremely well made and there will probably never be another show like it that is so enjoyable for the parents that watch with their kids.

I can definitely see how it works make it worse....shows like cocomelon or just too much tech in general. Kids today aren't given much guidance and experience in the real world with others socializing. Even babies that don't truly socialize WITH one another most times....get something from interacting with Mom and Dad etc.
I have a severe special needs child that is mostly non verbal. Though it's become better with homeschool. I'm sorry for your situation and your mother's. 💜 That's a tough one.
We didn't pay TV on for my son until he was about 2 years old and it was limited but I hate that I let my grandma do it. It was her roof her rules. She legit would threaten to kick us out on the streets if we pushed back too much.
But cocomelon didn't exist yet...we had better more wholesome shows he likes to this day at least...but it's limited. Only after real life interactions and school etc (if we aren't sick, and even then we avoid too much because it can quickly get out of control with tech).
He hasn't had the meltdowns to the level of many coco fans...but a close one was with Kongsuni ..similar animation and the main character is very sassy etc.
We use mostly educational videos and games now
.....most is not just because but even those are limited. Hands on materials and hobbies are important...even just casual sports or being in nature. Along with social time.
We tried public school and a charter school and neither gave enough options for us academically or socially. This has been the healthiest choice and he finally stopped regressing as much as he used to. His behavior and speech and academics have improved.
There are co ops and other funding options out there, especially for single moms....there's a LOT of you look. It definitely might depend on the school. Even private is better than most public. But I just hope the best for you and the fam. Maybe even public schools around you will have staff that have their hearts in the right place. Blessings. 🙏

My son watched cocomelon for less than 2 months but i immediately noticed the change in behaviour. Agression anger excessive tantrums and then addictively wanting to watch more. I stoped and noticed his behaviour became more relaxed than hyper. He is an active kid but the hyperactivity was borderline scary. I always had limited screen time and even then cocomelon had such a massive impact. And its not just cocomelon but also the screentimes in general. It destroys attention span it destroys brain development and creativity.

We also took them outside to run around and to the park to run till they were done running and rest at the pavilion.

IMMEDIATELY my spirit was on full blast alarm mode and I knew that I knew something was off . We NEVER put it on again in hopes she would completely forget it existed and became extremely selective with what she was able to watch (either educational or Godly). Parents can never be too careful, as the world get darker, the enemy will use actually anything to gain a foothold. the spiritual warfare is getting more and more sneaky.

Lately, whenever you sing "Jesus loves me this I know" or "Praise" he closes his eyes and seeks refuge (these are songs he loved!). He gets scared and cannot move from my chest. He wakes up at night and behaves like he had a scary dream. An infant??? The tantrums too are on a different level. The beauty is that we always pray for his growth. I’ve watched coco melon with my 19 month old granddaughter. She doesn’t get a lot of tv time here but this show on UA-cam teaches values, sharing, politeness, family love between the mom and dad and the siblings. I like that the mom and dad wearing wedding rings and how quick they are to show love to the kids and compassion when they are hurt. My granddaughter used to watch Miss Rachel and that show could drive a person nuts. So Miss Rachel is banned in this house. But I wonder if the complaints on coco melon is due to the fact that they’re taking viewers from Miss Rachel.
