Thank you to everyone for commenting and sharing this video :) For now check out my recent doll review showcasing how *to this day* A9 is still the only art manikin on the market that can achieve every pose humanly possible ua-cam.com/video/DP8bHwzJD-4/v-deo.html
Hey- I've only just discovered your armatures. Would you say they're suitable for stop motion animation? Specifically, are the joints sturdy enough that they could serve as skeletons for animation puppets?
Hi MootroidXProductions, there are a number of people that have used them for stop motion but you'll likely have to re-tighten your joints every so often. There's a video about this here: armaturenine.com/pages/customer-support-page
For the forward and back movement you can add flexible clavicles to your order. They are sold separately in the pieces page of the website. Also, there's more range of motion there than you might think. Check out this demonstration: ua-cam.com/video/9RzJU6yqwqY/v-deo.html
ive been looking for a good armature for my stop motion, this is the best, because ball and socket ones dont realy capture any thing and neather does wire armatures, it looks awesome, and what tipes of 1 6th scale weapons do you have ( guns, swords ect) and i love your products, keep up the great work:)
Many thanks minerboy3000! We have only a few props on our storefront currently but there is a plethora of 1/6 scale costumes and props available on the web in places like ebay. The beauty of the 1/6 scale convention is you'll have no problem finding items that fit with Ranger.
Hello, Is this figure's hand thumb capable of doing this motion?: www.uxmatters.com/mt/archives/2014/11/images/Hoober-Phablets-04.png From the video it appears that it doesn't since the thumb's rotation axis is parallel to the palm, and not perpendicular (or spherical to allow a full range of motion)
+Evandroworks that is correct. Currently none of the fingers feature adduction or abduction. Recently a great sculptor and artist (K. LeCrone) did a careful review of our armature and compared it to other dolls out on the market. I highly recommend looking at it. She goes over the limitations of fingers and toes: klecrone.blogspot.com/2016/05/an-updated-review-of-amazing-armature.html and pluses and minuses. All around quite balanced. We've been looking over it and trying to implement changes on our end to meet these critiques (see our blog for recent post about toes being flush with foot) armaturenine.com/blog.html
Bree, I actually show which orders I’m working on today at the very top of the community page: a9rig.com. I’m currently working on orders placed in March 10th. So about 12 days behind
The smaller 1/12 scale version costs $50. Has the same range of motion, except for the fingers. But has the benefit of being small and light and able to produce more gravity defying poses: It's called Rider: armaturenine.com/rider.html
No, but we can easily make them for you as part of a custom order. Pricing usually depends on the complexity of the model you need made. For something as simple as a top hat and cane for Rider, it would add about $15 to your order.
Hi Anji, we haven't released Raider yet. So I'm assuming your'e talking about Rider. And yes, last week we announced a new version that will have articulated hands. The blog post is here: armaturenine.com/blogposts/blogpost-7-14-17.html
Armature Nine Yes that's what I want how can I buy that ?that was very important to me please help me buying one I am on a stop motion project and there is less time left with me
Hi Anji, you can pre-order it here: armaturenine.com/ (first one on the top). If you need it quickly, I can special case your order and have it out early in the week.
You might consider our $50 model (Rider). It's well suited for stop-motion also. Especially the latest version. There's a great chroma green stand you can get for it also.
@@doctirdaddy4876 Great!! I've often used one Rider for group compositions by reposing and compositing multiple photos in photoshop. Can be great fun to play with scale. I have one illustration here that shows this: armaturenine.artstation.com/projects/xJzBQr
Hi Himanshu, we are trying to reduce to cost little by little by developing molds. Our handmade Riders are now $55 and they feature most the articulation as the Ranger models.
@@Armaturenine thanks for the reply. I am basically looking forward just a skeleton which can move and I will dress them like Indians and their face and hair like Indians. I have 35 short stories for which I will be creating stop motion animation this year and release it next year. Major challenge for me is creating Indian characters.

Can already see that shoulder socket is only on the Z axis (up and down), no forward or back motion?

Would it be possible to create one with a body plan similar to a Tyrannosaurus?
Mainly speaking of a tyrannosaurus head and tail, and that’s about it.
I'm working on one actually (and another dinosaur as well). When I'm done I'll post pictures on my blog: armaturenine.wordpress.com
Where can you find them?

The Rider versión is considered a Toy?
They are more tools (for artists) than toys :)
I want a rider Do you make shipping to chile?
Yes we do ship to Chile :)
