100% agree but, here is the issue - internet... and the reliance on servers... Single player games can get away with it due to can be on a disk and the console should always run it - its once internet is involved - they can force updates upon connection or if multiplayer - just switch servers off... we used to have lan parties in days of old - computer clubs - meet up in a city hall and all connect via lan cables to remove the servers and host our own but, those days have gone and now all fully online... pros and cons... like anything once you become reliant they can always stop you... sucks.... and something does need to be done. Honestly I doubt we can force them to keep servers switched on forever on games to support them but, there should be a minimum term of support that they must support a game for. Realistically 10 years I think is fair. If they are prepared to release a game that relies on servers then it must be in place for the servers to be paid for a length of time to be on. IMO

I think the reason that the prices are so high is to incentivize people to buy Ubisoft plus, as you get all the content the most expensive edition of the game offers for 14 usd a month. I think they want people to buy ubisoft plus as it helps stroke their egos and validates the "you don't own shit you bought" thing they have been putting out. People will buy it just to try this bad game. also they made mistakes in the trailer including making the star destroyer not have the domes on top. They literally neutered the star destroyer.
They're going about it the completely wrong way. In that case, if you buy their streaming service to play, say, 2 games - They can just delete them whenever they choose and you'd have no say in it. then you wasted your hard earned money
Ea would just add more micro transactions pay walls and battlepasses to old games to try and squeeze as much money as possible out of them. Sad that these gaming companies are so greedy. Only way to combat it is to simply not buy there products. The majority of gamers are kids though and don't understand the bigger issues at hand and mom and dad fork out the money.
We as gamers are responsible for all this, these greedy companies keep pushing the limit because we kept paying. All the Shark Cards, the premium skins, the digital collectors editions and all the rest. While people keep falling for the FOMO, Compaies like Ubisoft, EA and Activision will get away with it.
The problem are whales. Theres a small minority of gamers, that put an INSANE amount of money into games that push these practices. For an example: in the smartphone game sector, only 2-6% of the customers are falling for MTX and its those 2-6% that the ENTIRE game is designed for. And sadly, thats a lucrative business. I know enough people from work that put 50€ per month into FIFA, saying that "its just 50€". Yeah, that may be true, but you wouldnt pay 50€ for a candy bar and those MTX are worth less.
Here to show support! And Ubisoft is the younger brother of EA when it comes to corporate greed and that's before the politics and scandals they have in their history.
At least EA provides not the best but good games let's say with pretty much reasonable prices, they go over the top with micro transactions and its not my cup of tea but it's alright, ubisoft is at the level of apple's greed

I had the game until my death practically because its functionality was tied to the hardware that could run the game, no internet connection was needed, no patches, the game was completely tuned and could be played without any problems from start to finish...... today???? Early Access, Season Pass, Day 1 patch, still online even for single player, digital only....and so on what the hell???? Today I will not receive the product BUT the online service !!!! The fact that u cant play singleplayer games without internet connection is mindblowing to me !! Today we got no games but live service product for how many years?? so sad ....
Had this happen with "Toy Soldiers" a version of the game. Picked it up at a pawn shop for 10 bucks and I could only play tutorial nothing else worked. Only to find that the games no longer supported!!!
I felt crazy when the gameplay reveal dropped for this game. So many of the comments and things I read or heard from people about it is that it looked so good. I was just like, hold on, this is a Ubisoft game. This is also a early reveal trailer. There's no way this is how good the game looks or what it plays like. Like how many E3 trailers have we seen that looked amazing and it wasn't even close. I'm just like there's no shot Ubisoft makes a game like this. And people are just like but it looks so good though....

I remember going to play Super street fighter 2 (Back compatible) and tony hawks pro skater HD remaster and they had gone off my hard drive, reading into it apparently its a timed licence issue (I guess i didnt read the small print?) Seems insane to put a retail price on something you never own. Move to subscription service for games thats the way its heading anyway. Spotify / netflix/ prime video etc no one owns anything anymore. My big old DVD/CD/Vinyl collection is antique at this point lol
Few years ago I’ve lost access to my Ubisoft account with many titles and due to their supreme customer service I’ve never got it back. Never played Ubisoft game since then.
It's crazy to me because baldur's gate 3 special edition is only like $70 and you get a special art book special case a physical disc copy and whole bunch of other stuff. On top of the fact it's the exact same price on steam at least in Canada. It just blows my mind that they try stuff like this and the fact that some people are probably going to buy a $200 game just to basically beta test at 3 days early
You gotta remember to convert the currency. You can’t use both currency to make it seem like it’s a thousand times more. $200 aud is around 130 usd, so it’s 60 usd more

Man only 1second in the video and im already rolling on the floor 😂😂😂 the way he says "ive been SICK and tired of this company " LMAO
Bro if I wasn’t an AC fan I wouldn’t give this company the time of day
Even AC lost its touch after unity, now its a low quality repetitive rpg game, and ac mirage is a fan service game for arabs after what they ve done to arabs considering religious and cultural violation
@@LivrusNaystfu mirage is fire
Yea I agree ubi needs to go. They are out of their mind if they think I'm going to buy their subscription service or any more of their games.
Not even EA would do this 😭
That's giving a little too much credit to EA
No it’s not ea hasn’t ever done this bullshit
Ea would just add more micro transactions pay walls and battlepasses to old games to try and squeeze as much money as possible out of them. Sad that these gaming companies are so greedy. Only way to combat it is to simply not buy there products. The majority of gamers are kids though and don't understand the bigger issues at hand and mom and dad fork out the money.
You know, I think you're right.
Ubisoft found a way for EA to look less shit.
A significant achievement.
EA makes pay to win games and makes them scripted.
Mr. Krabs somewhere is having a heart attack with that 200$ ahh price.
Thanks for reminding me not to get this game.
He's quaking in his shell
Ubisoft is taking heavy inspiration from Mr. Krabs. You know, insulting prices for small portions, with no concern for quality.
Here to show support! And Ubisoft is the younger brother of EA when it comes to corporate greed and that's before the politics and scandals they have in their history.
EA ain't even been as bad as this in regards of videogame pricing
@@Demigah and that's saying something
At least EA provides not the best but good games let's say with pretty much reasonable prices, they go over the top with micro transactions and its not my cup of tea but it's alright, ubisoft is at the level of apple's greed
People crap on Nintendo, but at least they make their games perfectly priced and enjoyable
enjoyable yes, perfectly priced definitely no
Perfectly priced 😂😂😂😂 a game made 4 years ago is sold at full price on there shop

Dude I love the channel! Found you by chance. And yeah Ubisoft can go to hell with their trash prices!!
"Im a resilient hater" thats the line that made me subscribe to this channel! I love it hahaha
Bruh the ultimate version is 2000zar in my country and in Nigeria it's worth more than family groceries!
Brotha, don't even look at the game again. The gameplay looked like caca anyway 😂😂
@@Demigah I gave up on starwars alongside many fans because it's trash and they keep trying to milk and alter the prequels which makes soulless as well, so this game will most likely be a paid bundle for a special and Ubisoft will also try to inflate their numbers as well.
@@Testsbringresults I have only ever seen one star wars movie. I do enjoy their games, though
@@Demigah the game before this might be the last good game to made from the IP (starwars) unfortunately.
I miss when games costed 45 euro on a disk or whatever nintendo 3ds thing is called, 45 was still kind of a lot, but not too much, and made you feel like the game counts, now an 80 dollae games even if it's the best game ever, will always feel like a waste of money
Me, too, Benet 🥲
"3 kids, and 4 baby daddies" 😭
The math don't add up, did 2 of the dad's go half on 1 kid
This is why I disconnected my consoles from the internet stopped buying new games 4 years ago. I saw it coming and on my 360 & XB1 I have probably 100’s of games on those drives
Bruh got me at "resilient hater" 😭
I miss old Ubisoft. When there was still care and sense in what they did. Does anyone still remember Rayman? God i miss Rayman especially those for Ps2.
And this whole not owning what i paid makes me want to set up sail again. Time to show them wankers the real Skull and Bones.
First ! - your videos are awesome 👏🏿
this one isnt he bitches to much and sorry but I have put alot of money towards ubisoft games fuck crew 1 they have a crew 2 thats way better than the 1st

The only thing Ubisoft has done in recentish times is work with OBS to allow OBS game capture to work with Vulkan applications when R6 Siege got a Vulkan option. No one seemed to care enough to release an update for it until Ubisoft dev team members worked with OBS team.
You a real one for this vid! Subscribed fosho
I KNEW YOU WOULD MAKE A VIDEO ABOUT THIS BRO 😂
A subscriber had asked me to
On top of all that, they expect us to shell all that out for a female protagonist 💀
I don't think the protagonist is the big problem of this game
@@Lonkshi21 it’s not, but it’s definitely the cherry on top
Samus?
Nothing at all wrong with a good female lead.
@@Budderz__ It’s getting old to me
other companies: um yea we won’t support this old game now, so no more updates, and no more online support, but it still works.
ubisoft: what game are you talking about?
Hey man the ball on the playground analogy tho, yeah I'm walking home
I was never a fan of game companies dieing.... but after the crew, my views have changed
I literally subbed as soon as as you said you presiding Australia
Agreed ! I bought lots of the games in the 90s, got a beautiful box, lost of bonuses, beautiful artwork on the box , manual, sometimes even more. Today we got no games but live service product for how many years?? so sad ....
They are out of their minds.
Had this happen with "Toy Soldiers" a version of the game. Picked it up at a pawn shop for 10 bucks and I could only play tutorial nothing else worked. Only to find that the games no longer supported!!!
“I’m a resilient hater” 😭😂
I haven’t been buying Ubisoft games for almost 15 years now.
And I’m quite comfortable with that!
I like your passion man. I love it!
That one show they made with Netflix and bobbypills was fire tho
I never pay for Ubisoft games. I always pirated them "Allegedly" anyway 🗿
This is why i Fully Support Indie Games...
This was my first time seeing a video on this channel, this shit was entertaining bruh. Subscribing
Daaaaaamn bro, you gained a sub with that video 😆😆😆😆 loved it
I felt crazy when the gameplay reveal dropped for this game.
Here in Brazil the game will cost 600 reais, the monthly salary here is 1200 excluding taxes, about 1000, you rent a house here for 500 for a whole month, ubsoft is crazy, pirating them and EA is a civic duty
I don't usually root the downfall of a company, but ubisoft had it coming.
You are funny as hell. Just subscribed! 😂
What Ubisoft and many other gaming companies are doing with anti-customer tactics nowadays perfectly explain why I'm more of an old school gamer with the PS1, PS2, PS3, Xbox 360, GameCube, and the N64 (and yes I do own a PS5 and a Switch as well).
😂😂😂 "three kids with four baby daddies" that caught me off guard 😂
Star Wars Outlaws costs 60 bucks where I live... on the other hand Jedi Survivor is a year old and still costs $100, what the actual f*ck!!
Earned a subscription, brother! Good s*it!
The consumer is the problem still buying it
Got a nu subscribah for that vid, cheers bro! Great stuff, I laughed hard and enjoyed the shit outta my drunken ass! 🥳
Just found you’re channel my man and you’re hilarious asf🤣you sound like Sleepy Hollow🙏🏽💯
I remember going to play Super street fighter 2 (Back compatible) and tony hawks pro skater HD remaster and they had gone off my hard drive, reading into it apparently its a timed licence issue (I guess i didnt read the small print?) I pay for licences in creative software too and even plug-ins for that software. I dont expect them to be deleted or taken off me as i payed for a licence to use the product. Seems insane to put a retail price on something you never own. Move to subscription service for games thats the way its heading anyway. Spotify / netflix/ prime video etc no one owns anything anymore. My big old DVD/CD/Vinyl collection is antique at this point lol
i can already imagine the thousand dots on the map we have to clear
FOR 120$, insane -_-
Few years ago I’ve lost access to my Ubisoft account with many titles and due to their supreme customer service I’ve never got it back.
$200 aud is around 130 usd, so it’s 60 usd more
You pretty much spot on man. One thing l hate about Ubisoft is their prices. The DLC’s on their games cost just as much as the base game which is ridiculous.
This is the video that will make your account famous. Loved it and couldn’t agree more!
Out of all languages this Man could choose, he chose the language of facts.
