    Man, genius product that I didn't even imagine existed.

    Beware: don't scroll down too far on the Amazon search results if you are looking from your desk at work! I learned there is another product with some similar keywords that are DEFINITELY not related to wall outlets!

      LOL.. I know. I didn't even know that Amazon sells those stuff.

      I literally LOL'd when I scrolled down and saw it 2 minutes before watching this video here.
      The damn thing looks like something you'd swing around over your head before launching it at the enemy in medieval times.

    This would be great for traveling. It seems like any hotel, AirBnB, airport, etc has outlets are are frustratingly loose.

      One side of the plug will be insulated but pushing the other side to have a good connection.

    WARNING! Potential fire danger!
    Do NOT do this!
    If the outlet is bad, it has a problem with how tightly the conducters are gripped and needs to be replaced. This fix may or may not make the electrical connection tighter. If it makes it looser, or more intermittent, HEATING, ARCING and even open flame may result! JUST REPLACE THE OUTLET!

      That is funny that you make a general statement without basis. Check out the the almost 10K reviews on this product and see if it caused any fire.

      @@LHtoo lmfao fr. People in the comments are arguing wildly outlandish scenarios to hinder the sale of this product and virtue signal "im looking out for your safety." Like no, ur trying to assume moral high ground for no reason lmfao

    Fun fact: replacement outlets cost about $1 at home depot.

    • @LHtoo
      @LHtoo  2 місяці тому +1

      True, but if you are not a DIYer then add another $100-200 bucks for an electrician to replace it for you.

      @@LHtoo Do you add another $200 bucks for a licensed plumber to replace a roll of toilet paper for you?

    • @LHtoo

      @@Michael-iw3ek 2 very different things. I can replace almost everything in the house, so don't worry about me but for those people that cannot and will not and FUN FACT: there are lots of them, this is an easy and hassle free fix. I actually will use this first before deciding to replace the outlet.

      @@LHtoo replacing an outlet is one of the easiest electrical things to do in the house. it requires next to zero skills and provides a learning opportunity. whereas an insert like this is a ticking time bomb. anyway, i don't know why are we even arguing. anyone familiar with the concept of using a screwdriver knows this already, and anyone who isn't handy enough to flip the circuit breaker and untwist and twist back a few bolts is going to suffer.

    • @LHtoo
      @LHtoo  2 місяці тому +1

      @@Michael-iw3ek Just because you think replacing an outlet is easy for you, you assume it will be easy for everyone. Ask your wife or your female neighbor if they are willing to do it by themselves and stating that it requires zero skill, is also not accurate, you do need to know where to hook up the hot wire (brass or silver screw?). Also I'm not sure what is the ticking time bomb on this insert, is it going to short? actually a lose one can definitely cause an arc and probably a fire which this insert prevents. Anyways, you do you...but don't assume. That is why there are Handyman and Handywoman businesses because a lot of people don't want to or don't have the time to do these tasks.
