- This is a documentary I threw together of May 2019 which was a crazy month filled with storms and tornadoes. In this video, I highlighted three of our best chases.

That last clip with a nice view of the entire supercell was amazing.
Well done video! May 2019 literally every day there was an outbreak. I like hearing a good commentary no yelling or screaming. If I was chasing I would be calm and be doing a good commentary.

Great music to accompany the supercell at the end of the video. I also want to comment on your limited non-freak out banter. Much different than some storm chasers who sound like they need to be parked inside a rubber room.

On 13:15 on the video I was chasing that cell near the border of texas and Oklahoma about 15 miles northeast of Wichita Falls Tx. Produced several stunning tornados, and managed to avoid major structures. Scary day for weather but excellent day for chasing.
Yeah it certainly was. Glad the end of the world HRRR wasn’t correct and things stayed out in the open.
15:08 was that sped up or was that tornado going *that* fast?

2019 was a different year for tornadoes unlike the years before.
2019 had a lot of tornadoes, but most were on the weaker side. Quality was down overall this year, especially compared to years like 2016.

Still amazed how fast the Mangum tornado was moving. Also, I heard that a mobile Doppler got a scan of it, and thank god it missed the town since it was packing winds of 200+ MPH, which easily could have caused EF4-5 damage had it hit the town and likely caused injuries and even fatalities.
Definitely could’ve been a much worse situation, but that goes for most tornadoes. Glad 5/20/19 didn’t shape up to be the big day we feared.
@@FreddyMcKinney Since I live in Oklahoma City and was present for both of the Moore tornadoes (albeit on the opposite side of town from there), I wholeheartedly agree with that sentiment!

Pecos Hank is an amazing guy, great content creator, and extremely educated in his field. I would follow his example aswell if i were a chaser making video content. Nice vid Freddy!

"Freddy", that Supercell looked to exceed 60K', if not 70K! It's kind of leaning over, like a multi-Megaton H-Bomb shot, 45 Minutes after detonation, or an extreme conflagration.

I live were the Missouri river , quiver river , Mississippi river meet . Will the mud in the bottoms create an increase risk of tornadoes ? In July those bottoms may look dry but 2 foot down will be mud
There is no correlation between rivers and tornadoes.
@@FreddyMcKinney I am sorry you misunderstood me . My fault . The flooding was bad . The bottoms will be millions of square miles of mud just a foot are two below the surface . Is it possible that mud could add enough moister to the hot air in July and august to cause instability in the atmosphere . Not the rivers but the millions of square miles of mud that the flood left behind
It’s possible that it could cause a very minute increase in humidity but really no.
