I have just come back from the Lakes did around 1000 miles on my Thunder, A Farmers Daughter who I was speaking to gave me the nearest directions to a main road, it was a mile back the way I came or just over a steepish hill then follow the path and your on the main road, This was in Glenriding. 4 miles later still no sign of a road , I ended up ridding over the mountain pass with lots of big rocks, now my stem is very wobbly so much so I dont want to ride it. Mad charge show how to fix Thunder stem wobble but not the name or type of puller to get the leg off do you know what it is ? It says KingFoy on the grip, Many thanks Ray K UK YNWA

I just bought a dualTron thunder I love it but man oh man it is creaky that I’ve locked the clamp down tight and it just creaks I’ve even bought larger aftermarket clamps and it still creaks. I’m going to try to add some grease to the lower part of the stem. I do believe they could’ve used a stiffer material for the stem, for the amount of money you pay For this you really should not need to be spending money to quiet this thing down
I get what you're sayin bro! On the flip side though where do they stop, if they made them perfect the price would be driven up! I hope this method helps you and is normally the source of the creaking, and sorry for late reply I didn't get the notification for your comment
@@dualtrondreamteam6811 I tried this method with the application of grease, tightened everything well, and went for a spin....unfortunately it did not help. What I did do was to order a larger clamp...if you google "macury dualtron thunder folding clamp" you will see what I mean. Also I cut 2 thin strips of aluminum about a half inch wide by 2 inches long made from the top of a cat food tin. I had to really work it into the area between the stem and the clamp. Note: this particular clamp has a set screw that you can turn to push the clamp apart just enough to put these aluminum shims in place. Once I did, I backed off the set screw and tightened the clamps. NO CREAKING, at least for the moment. I will do more riding and tightening after Labor Day to see how it holds up. Before anyone buys this type of clamp be aware that since it is taller than the stock clamp,it will impede your folding capabilities. Folding does not matter to me so it was not an issue..
Mine never done that...i have thunder and eagle pro over 800 miles combined and as long as you crank down on the stem clamp properly twisting it tight then levering it closed very tight almost to the point you can barely close the lever on the clamp and I have had no noise no movement and am super happy with the stock stems. I dont understand all the complaining other that people running it loose or rather than riding the board and giving inputs through the stem they are riding the stem and getting inputs from the board. If you find yourself holding on the the stem with all your might in a tug of war with the stem all the time your doing it wrong. A hint is too lean whatever way you want to accelerate(change your speed up or down or direction is considered acceleration) lean forward backward left or right depending...its pretty simple actually.

Yo bro did your maguras fit on the back wheel ? Or did you have to put an adapter or inverse the banjo
Yes I had to swap the banjo to the outside, and I used a genuine magura 160mm mount on the rear , I can try and find the part number if needed?
Dualtron Dream Team i wont be changing discs so i will only have to inverse the banjo, any oil leaks ?

It's normal unless you buy the unrated hinge, a Thunder weighs 42kg so the weight emphasises the flex

You're one of the lucky ones tons of people have the issue it's well know 2bf, and the noise isnt comming from the clamp as you can see on the video!
