A son has lost his beloved mama and he speaks to us and so many in such grace and comfort. His Majesty has made his mama Our Queen very proud and this speech was so filled with love and grace. I feel so sorry for him. To lose your mother is so hard. I think they had to stop it there because I think he was going to start crying. You could see the tears in his eyes all along. When I lost either of my parents I could never have stood up and made a speech like that without crying heavily. God rest her soul and God save the King.

Her Majesty the Queen knew she was loved and cared about. She was a beautiful woman in many ways. Having your parents until you are in your 60's and 70's in quite a privilege. Losing them both within a short time is like a your world is crashing down, but they wanted their family to remember them and to carry on the best you can. Because he's a FATHER who loves his SON. I often don't like the things my kids do and the decisions they make as adults but I love them anyway. I'm sure he doesn't like what's going on but he's King and he wants stability. At the end of the day he's a grieving son trying to publicly get through a horrible time and showing his love for his immediate family.

Always liked him. I don't really question the Monarchy, it is what it is and it's here. I do admire most of his work. I like his outlook, integrity and commitment to what he believes is right and proper. I like how he interacts with his subjects on a personal level. I admire his connection with the common people and his sense of responsibility. I respect how he has looked after the Tenant Farmers of The Duchy of Cornwall and managed those resources despite probably being the least profitable areas of his business portfolio. His conservation work, love of nature and respect for the land and wildlife. I'm sure he will endeavour to be a great King and William probably even more so under his mentorship. Quite a few people I suspect are also prepared to tolerate Camilla Parker Bowles as Queen consort but no more as it was the late Queen's wish.
