Started with honeybees, then discovered the uber-productivity of Mason Orchard bees, now have been trying out different plantings on the edges of my garden for observing other pollinators, like wild bees and many others. I encourage others to give it a try-they are fascinating!

How can the plants kill the pollinators?

Plants coated in broad spectrum insecticides are poisonous to pollinators and pests alike.

@@RaintreeNursery Also, some insecticides are systemic, and are pulled into every bit of the plant's tissue - flowers, leaves, and roots - and stay present and harmful to all insect life until everything completely composts, which can take up to 3 years!
