Remember: it’s because these classes have so many taking them. Classes like Calc BC and Physics C are miles harder but less people take them and those who do are predisposed to do wel
That adds up for all the exams listed except Physics 1, because most students take Honors Physics -> Physics C instead. That makes the pool of Physics 1 kids comparatively small. Also, that exam was some bullshit. CollegeBoard doesn’t even provide all the formulas you need to solve some of those problems. I was trying my damndest to remember the formula for rotational acceleration the entire time. The Free Response wasn’t actually terrible, but the MCQ killed my entire class this year. I’ve made 5’s on all my exams so far, and with pretty much a guaranteed 5 in Calc BC and really solid tests in both APUSH and AP Lang, Physics 1 was 100% the hardest AP exam I’ve ever taken. That test sucks ass.
As a student who has taken both AP Physics 1 and AP Physics 2, AP Physics 1 is definitely harder since the biggest hurdle is in the beginning when you have to change the way that you think. You have to learn how to analyze and use abstraction to solve problems to a degree that most students haven’t encountered. The principles are easy, the application is hard, and your worst enemy are your preconceived notions of how the world works. However, when enter AP Physics 2, you already have taken AP Physics 1 and have already cemented the mindset you need making the transition much easier.
APES (ap environmental science) is the EASIEST AP exam I've ever taken (I've done AP bio, AP stats, AP Calc AB, AP gov, and AP lit so far). Ngl, see if you can do physics from a community college if you can afford it. You will be better guaranteed to get the credit in your university, And, generally, you’ll learn a WHOLE lot more/be prepped for the next physics class in college. Physics in college is about teaching and making sure you understand what’s important/how to think around these type of problems. It doesn’t ‘teach to a test’ like AP physics teachers are forced to. Plus, you can often get that period free every other day to do your homework/study when you’d normally be in a semi-useless lecture at high school.

It is crazy to see how things vary from school to school. In my school, AP Psych, APUSH, and AP Physics are all considered the easiest AP classes to take.
Last year I was talking to some kids from my school who were taking AP Physics 1, and the told me they didn’t start learning about torque until 2 classes before the AP test
APUSH honestly wasn't bad. Almost all questions were stimulus-based, so, for the most part, as long as you remembered the basic ideas and time frames, then you were fine. Source: I was in virtual, didn't try very hard in the class, and still got a 5. (It helps that I like history in the first place, though.)
3 of those I’m betting are because they’re mostly senior classes and seniors don’t care about their AP exams. I know because I’m taking 3 of these this year (I’m a senior.) as for physics 1, I took that last year and well I got a 1 on the exam so yeah it is the hardest.
The AP Environmental one shocked me, honestly. I took three different ones this year- AP Lang, Psych and the aforementioned one. I passed all of them with a 4 and even received a college board award. I am either a God or got hella lucky, ESPECIALLY considering that I had two back to back on the same day

For us, it was a freshman class, so many people scored poorly on it because of their lack of experience in testing. Also, I believe many people take it just to boost their gpa, so they end up scoring quite low on it.
I got a 4
Honestly same, I think my teacher was just really good but I didn’t do any extra studying for the test and still got a 5. I guess I don’t really know how it went for the freshmen in my class though.
When you’re taking half of those classes this year
As someone who failed the APUSH exam makes sense. Some of those questions were so convoluted and/or had little to nothing to do with what we learned.
i’m literally in apush rn💀
Its about using historical reasoning
Physics Tuah: Drop that class!
the way two of my best classes are on this list 😭
Funnily enough, I got a 1 on Physics 1 and a 5 on Physics 2. Not quite sure how I managed to do that but it is what it is.
That’s actually insane. ig it’s just cuz they are significantly different material covered
That means you are just better at one part of physics.
ah how the tables have turned
I found physics 2 to be way easier and way more interesting than 1
*laughs* I’m in danger
(I’m a freshmen taking AP Physics 1)
Dropped that class and take it on your junior or senior year
@@screenmemes2hoursago498 shouldn’t drop out of that class, just pay attention and it’s easy
@@tomasavage6815 no I haven’t taken that class yet I’m in just 10 grade
gg rip
I signed up for AP Chem and AP Physics 1 as a sophomore this year. P A I N.
So nobody’s going to talk about how smooth the loop is?
Wow this is great I’m taking three of those!!!!!!!
I’m gonna be taking AP Phys 1 in next year in 10th, and I’m gonna be taking AP Eng Lit in junior year. Great, now I’m scared 😃
Well how did it go
I'm taking AP p.e. 😭...
When ur currently in 2 of those classes 💀
Extremely late update- I passedddddd :D (worst years of my life, college is so much better)
When you’re gonna be taking four of those classes 💀💀
@@riftryn WHY DO U HATE URSELF???
thankfully I’m only taking one of these, and it’s next semester!
one small problem; I think I’m predestined to end up taking all of these and more ;-;
I’m taking AP gov next year, I thought it was gonna be easy.
all ap classes are hard
Damn, I still really wanna be a physicist
Me, in physics 1 and currently doing physics homework the night before a test: yeah
My friend missed the time for the Apush exam so he had to take it in September. He in the end though got a 5 but he spent hours in the summer studying
I studied for 2 weeks and got a 5 💀
is the score a 1-10? I don’t understand the scoring and meaning of AP ( I’m Asian)
@@avndd_s it’s from 1-5 (5 being highest)
@@SWNerd oh lol I thought it had the same system as Quackity’s law school scoring technique
Wait, there's AP exams in September?!
I am surprised that more people failed APUSH than AP Calc
AP Euro was super hard too, almost no one in my school passed that crazy thing. The questions were barely anything we went over.
Uh oh🤣 I’m taking AP Euro this year
I got a 5, but yeah, I agree it's super hard, more so than APUSH or AP World
My APES exam was today and when I tell you it was one of the easiest exams I have ever taken.
Not my literally just applying to do physics, English lit and math
As a student who has taken both AP Physics 1 and AP Physics 2, AP Physics 1 is definitely harder since the biggest hurdle is in the beginning when you have to change the way that you think. You have to learn how to analyze and use abstraction to solve problems to a degree that most students haven’t encountered. The principles are easy, the application is hard, and your worst enemy are your preconceived notions of how the world works. However, when enter AP Physics 2, you already have taken AP Physics 1 and have already cemented the mindset you need making the transition much easier.
Interesting. I was told AP gov was easy. I’m a freshman 😢
It's a free credit if you pay attention, pretty sure 90% of the failers are seniors who don't give two fucks about their score
APES (ap environmental science) is the EASIEST AP exam I've ever taken (I've done AP bio, AP stats, AP Calc AB, AP gov, and AP lit so far). I think the reason its got such a high fail rate is people just taking the AP class that shouldn't be in an AP class. There was literally a girl in my APES exam sleeping through the multiple choice so 🤷♀️
I honestly thought the APES test was really easy, why are half of the people failing?
I believe #6 is actually human geography, which is the ap I'm taking this year (as a freshman
I took that my freshman year and it’s actually a really good class but a lot of people fail the exam because it’s usually everyone’s first AP class
Lol I almost failed that but my teacher felt bad for me or something and gave me a c. Needless to say, I’m not in ap world history this year lol
Huh. I took that last year and I remember my teacher mentioning this year (I’m taking another class with him this year that many students from last years APHuG are in) and he said the AP exam pass rate for his class was 70 something%.
@@iliketurtles2843 We’re talking about the National pass rate. A little more than half of all students who take the APHG exam get a 2 or lower. School pass rates vary between schools. My school has an APWH class that has a 95% pass rate. Crazy stuff
I passed that with a 5 last year (Centripetal and Centrifugal are stupid)
Idk why I’m always watching u, I’m like In 5th grade and I’m watching college tips/ info and stuff.
thought ap stats would be on here since it has the lowest perfect scores
So what, this is pass RATE
@@juanm.guillermety2189 Bro...
Nice to know my first ap class as a freshman that I also happen to have 1st period is the 5th highest failing class!
Wdym you “did the math,” the percentages are literally online posted by collegeboard💀
Damn, took AP Gov, Lit, and US History in high school and found all 3 to be pretty easy for myself and the majority of my class. Although from what I heard from my teacher AP Gov got a pretty big overhaul a few years back so that might be part of it.
I’m in apush rn and we have a I’m Wednesday…wish me luck😬😭😂
Seeing this the day before my AP Gov exam 😀.
Surprisingly easy though wasn't it??
@@joshskov2134 yeah I did it today and it was like pretty easy actually. Not sure why the fail rate is so high
I think they dumbed it down for us this year😄
WHY IS NO ONE TALKING ABOUT THAT PERFECT LOOP
Funny thing is, I’m taking two of those classes this year in high school, and the fact that my high school offers all 5 of those classes.
A lot of it honestly depends on the teacher. I got a 4 on APES but a 2 in Psych
I’m surprised AP Environmental Science is in this video cuz it's supposed to be one of the “easier” AP classes
It honestly is really easy. I only studied for three days before the exam started and got a 4. All I did was watch the review videos that college board posted and that was it. Half of it is like common sense stuff too so you should definitely take it if you’re considering it
@@meeton2990 I didn't study at all the entire year and had an A in the class and a 3 on the AP exam
It's easy. Dumb kids take these classes and fails them. :)
Cause of the stereotype that it's so easy, people don't study at all and fail lol
Physics 1: I have 58 percent fail rate
IIT: 99 fail rate 😂😂
Oh wow I have the take AP ENV SCIENCE IN 9Th grade cause I’m advanced wish me luck
I’m taking human geography my freshman year, another pretty low passing class, gl man
@@UserName-dt3kc lucky lmao, Im taking notes for the first time and it’s painful lol, I have to take notes on 8 more pages by tomorrow and it’s currently 11pm
I’m telling it’s not that hard. It’s only such a low pass rate cuz the class is taken by morons most of the time looking to fill up their schedule.
APES is great
@@Cmac5612 ikr, I'm taking ap courses right now and they really have lowered their standards. Jesus, the average Joe can just walk in. If you're truly advanced as in advanced placement, you should be able to pass the ap exams no problem.
I’m so glad my school has a LEGENDARY teacher for apush, ap gov, and ib history of the americas. I’m taking the AP gov test this year, and I’ve been doing well on all of the practice tests I’ve taken thanks to him.
"WHAT DID YOU DO"
"he won."
"WHO WON?!"
" *physics, won.* "
Oh no, half those AP’s i’m taking next year. Rip
You want a 5 on physics, hit me up. I'm a physics tutor and I got a 5 back in 2015 when it first came out when it was like 65% fail rate. Don't ask about AP lit, I am part of the 56% there.
What're your rates? (I'm taking AP Physics 1 btw)
I got a 4 on calculus (during pandemic, remote), but then I showed that i could do it legitimately by getting a 4 in APUSH. Could not believe it since I had gotten 3s before on a lot of things, except that 5 in gov, but that was remote, so I had less things to mess up on since multiple choice wasn’t a thing
I’ll be fine taking APUSH, APCSP, AP Lang, AP Physics 1, and AP Stats this year 😅. In addition to Prom and the SAT and driving and getting a job and scholarships and looking for college 🥹
IM GONNA LITERALLY BE SO DEPRESSED 😂
@@goatmodegamingThe only bad AP out of those is APUSH. I fricken hate American History and that class required too much of my time. It honestly made me depressed that winter (I also took Physics 1 and Psychology that year). I got a 1, but honestly I didn’t care enough to pay attention anymore. I should’ve took regular US History,
@@thatguy720I have a lot of extra credit in mine and teacher is super chill at least. But yeah it is very hard, I know I can just rely on extra credit to get my grade up though
I’m taking AP environmental science and most peoples in my class just straight up don’t study or complete assignments so this makes perfect sense
APUSH and AP lit student here, my chances of getting college credit this year seem great
My personal rankings from my own experience of the tests I took. 1 being the hardest.
1. AP bio
2. AP Calc
3. AP Euro
4. AP Human geo
5. AP environmental science
6. AP English language
7. AP gov
8. AP Psych
Any tips for the AP Psych test?
I agree with the bio.
when you took the APUSH and AP Lang exams this year and passed:
This makes me feel a little better about my 3 on the ap physics exam lmao
I was supposed to take APUSH this year but chickened out within the first week (tried in person and online) and am just takin regular US hist now and I’m so glad my anxiety got the best of me after watching this video
Environmental Science felt like a blow off class, which led to a lot of people underestimating the exam.
Thing is physics, gov, env sci, and apush are typically open to students earlier on who aren't prepared for the workload/aren't warned which results in higher rates. Though APUSH and Lit in that list are worthy of being known of difficulty.
suprisingly calculas 2 wasn’t up there
Shit both the aps im taking this year as a freshmen are here 😭😭😭
i’m so glad my apush exam during covid was easy, my prompt was literally just about manifest destiny, got a 5 on it
Numbers like this scared me so much last year taking Physics 1
You've got to be kidding, I'm taking 3 of those this year and one of them next year!
My intro to business class has a 100% fail rate. Our teacher is AWFUL at his job
It is crazy to see how things vary from school to school. In my school, AP Psych, APUSH, and AP Physics are all considered the easiest AP classes to take.
This is so true because majority of my physical 1 classes in my school failed with 80% failing in each class
Me, who’s planning on taking all of these AP courses: *nervous sweating*
I’m surprised ap art hisory wasn’t included
When you’re taking two of those classes next year…
Got a 5 on APUSH and English lit. I feel like god.
well damn. I'm taking APUSH next year. We struggling with this one fellas!
Guess what. I’m taking #1 & #2 next year 😭🙏🏻
This makes me feel better about my failed test
3 of those I’m betting are because they’re mostly senior classes and seniors don’t care about their AP exams. I know because I’m taking 3 of these this year (I’m a senior.) as for physics 1, I took that last year and well I got a 1 on the exam so yeah it is the hardest.
Wait did u self study physics or take the class
Watched this during a study break for my physics test tomorrow ._.
The AP Environmental one shocked me, honestly. I took three different ones this year- AP Lang, Psych and the aforementioned one. I passed all of them with a 4 and even received a college board award. I am either a God or got hella lucky, ESPECIALLY considering that I had two back to back on the same day
Me a physics undergrad: *Signature look of superiority*
I am taking most of these classes NEXT SEMESTER!!!!
I think he would be a good teacher cuz he knows when people cheat
God willing, I look forward to a career in physics, the perceived difficulty is one of the things that makes it the most attractive, it just takes a lot of work to master
imagine having a test where you walk in knowing that more people are likely to fail than pass
Me, taking 3 of 5 of these: hehe, I'm in danger
