Remco did the right thing going solo, but he just looked gassed in races after the Olympics. Still a great season for him.
The reason he won olympic Road race was because Tadej wasnt there. Lets be honest. Today Remco put more than a minute to his competitors. If Tadej wasnt here, everybody would say Remco is in top shape with a brilliant and incredible solo move with 40 k to go. But when he finish 3 minutes behind Tadej, people say he’s not in top shape. Come on. Remco is a phenomenon, but Tadej is probably the greatest ever. We’ll see in 2-6 years

he had an amazing season historic too...he is wired he is wired like a champ. love the emotion he improved in every aspect , he matured a lot, and he took on best in every discipline. felt symbolic after silencing every doubter he finished at lombardia. should be proud and full of confidence .

Pog was the first rider to ever win the Giro. TdF, WC and a Monument in the same calendar year... and then he won another Monument. He has surely carved his name into the history of sport beside Merckx. On the basis of a single season, Pog is the GOAT. No one has done what he did, EVER. It's exciting to see a once in a generation talent and will also be exciting to see if the other teams are able to figure out a tactic that throws a wrench in Pog's dominance. Also, cycling careers are short generally, we might see several more years of him dominating, or this could be it! Either way it'll stay exciting to see how long of a run he'll have.
Just an editorial thought here but should we keep calling them "stunning solo" victories if we all know that's what he going to do? Was anyone actually stunned?

This man all of sudden improves by 10% his w/kg performances, and has not even a single drop of form throughout the all season (unless the previous years). And he does this right in the year when he rides both Giro and Tour, one of the most difficult challenges for the human body. The change of coach and the weight loss were only a diversion you fools. Most obvious answer: he didn’t have the legs. He had 2nd place legs, but not Pog legs! There’s so much intimidation in what Pog is doing… What I found a bit irritating is that Evenepoel did not go with him despite being right there, but then had the “stuff” to complain about others not pulling through during the “chase.” 😢 You had your shot. After that, just ride…which is what he eventually did.
