It's the National Lampoon's Family Vacation box..... Mostly shit to secure luggage to your station Wagon roof. You can get a 4 pack of ratchet straps for under 20 bucks and a tire Guage for $4.
I'm in recovery. In April god willing I'll have 5 years clean. I prefer u to do these unboxings the way God intended. With a strong drink in hand. Lol 😂

I have subbed Battlbox since box 12, used to be pro plus until the knives became cheap, also I have enough cheap knives, would like to see Battlbox go to a plus version just not a cutting tool, there must be others that think this way, also cookware and Battlbox doesn’t that go together better than tie downs, yet we never get cookware….after box 100 I will just opt out and by what I want….
I'm glad to have another UCO lantern - though I'm surprised we didn't get additional candles... That green looks great, not that I'm mad about my yellow. Those Pale Blue batteries fit nicely in the Rovyvon Angel Eyes E1 we recently got in Going Gear, so that's nice.
Generally speaking batteries survive EMPs. They just hold a charge, they don't conduct electricity through circuits and pathways. I can't explain it in better electrical, engineering, or scientific terms...because I'm not smart enough to.
I’ve used the safety flares before when I was pulling somebody out of a ditch at night. A lot of people pack them(or just normal road flares) for when they break down in the road. Definitely seems like a “van life” themed box, not exactly what I would want from battle box.
While nothign in this box is exciting, everything made it in to my gear. I offroad/camp a lot, and the tire guage has an air down valve which will be useful. Good quality ratchet straps are always useful. I wasn't too jazzed about the knife. It's going to be a XMas gift. The gear isn't exciting this month but it is good quality. I'll take it.
Vodka drink that’s easy but really good & refreshing: Vodka with Tonic Water and Fresh Squeezed Lime Juice -Yes, you can use the bottle of lime juice because it also works. However, getting fresh limes to juice just tastes so much better! -As far as what amounts of each I always say make it to your taste. You can always add more vodka or squeeze more lime juice or add a little bit more tonic water. Much easier to add because you really can’t take away, LOL. -Low Carb Option: use Diet Tonic Water which is sugar free. I live by a low-carb lifestyle so of course I use the diet tonic water.
@@DocP91B husband was at an Air Force function & was introduced to that drink. Normally he drinks whiskey. He loves a really good whiskey or scotch in a glass with an ice cube or two. That’s why I was so surprised when he came home and not only told me about it but had already stopped at the store and bought everything to make it. Some people don’t want the hassle of getting a fresh lime to juice but it literally takes just an extra two or three minutes, LOL. Once you figure out the way you like it best it’s just so quick and easy to make. I’ve found using a cheap vodka not only saves money but really doesn’t make that big of a difference when it comes to taste. However if you are someone who really likes an overpowering vodka flavor in your drinks then probably using a more expensive vodka would be a better option.

Question - What is hand rubbed Damascus Steel? I saw the contents of this box from the Battlebox channel (they said this box was for camping). I knew this was not going to be a great box and was looking forward to your reactions, LOL. When he got to the knife and gave its specifications I immediately went to look up what the hell is hand rubbed Damascus Steel. I mean there’s some sick and perverted jokes that can go there but that’s for another day. The thing is, I can’t get a definition anywhere or find anything that explains it. In some places people are saying that it’s really laser etched. However, like I said above, can’t get a definition or reason they call it that. Battlebox is charging so much more for their items! You go on Amazon and same exact brand of AAA micro USB cable charging four pack of batteries is $18. The candle lantern, same brand, is $21 on Amazon but on Amazon for $21 it also comes with a carrying bag and three extra candles. In fact for $5 more than what Battlebox says that candle lantern cost you can buy, same brand, a candle lantern that holds 3 candles inside. It does everything the smaller one does, of course better, but also the top is designed so that you can warm up small pots of water or coffee etc. If they are going to put prices on items they at least need to put Amazon prices. That’s basically where everybody goes to look for items. I imagine they probably won’t do that because it would make the box have less value.
Hand rubbed refers to a fi nish where the smith/maker rubs the blade with fine grit by hand. It gives the blade a smooth finish rather than course grind lines. It's done with homogenous steels as well. Is this blade genuinely hand rubbed? I dunno.
I've seen it! I know people are really happy with that one. I personally never liked those kinds of thing. But that is only a me thing. But maybe I should show it on the channel because I am clearly VERY outnumbered!!! So the question is...why can't I like nice things?

I have to say, I honestly thought you were going to lose your shit on this box. Im very torn on this one. I absolutely like and will use every item in the box! However, I will admit I am very underwhelmed on getting it in BattleBox. Probably my least favorite yet,but definitely bottom 2. I have to agree that it is the advanced and pro level that bum me out. I like all the other stuff. To bad my wife swiped my knife as soon as she saw it. 😂

I'm sure the door step is very useful, but there's no way that chunk of steel should cost fifty bucks. Assuming it's even made of steel.

The only things that say battle box to me are the UCO candle lantern and the civivi.
You have to open battlbox while your body is ready for battle otherwise it isn't real

I get my tie downs and straps at Harbor freight. I'm not spending $79 on ratchet straps. Battlbox just continues to not impress.
