About 12 years ago one of our stops on a cruise was Roatan and It was such a beautiful and friendly place. We hired a lovely man named Witchel to drive us around to sight see and give us a personal tour of his Island. One of the stops was a small little local restaurant (Hole in the wall) I don't know what all we ate, but everything was freakin delicious! I would love to go back and see more of the Honduras.
I had my daughter get me that Buc-ees shirt after seeing it on you in a previous video. It looks better on you. Another great video Dav, can't wait to see everyone on the Snake Discovery build video.
I'm white and living in La Ceiba, I have never felt unsafe and I go to all the supposedly dangerous places. Even downtown at night to eat baleadas and tacos. The secret is to use common sense and hanging out with locals helps. I took the family to Kabasa two months ago and it was really good! The beach there is great too.
Great video Dav. As someone who used to sponsor kids in places like Honduras it's true to say yes, it is a poor country and yes a few ppl do resort to drugs and crime to get buy but there are pockets of the U.S. and U.K. where that happens too. There is good and bad in all cultures and WOW does that food look good.😀
OMG... the seafood at "Kabasa?" looked both a) delicious and b) deadly! I am in LOVE with shellfish however even being close to it when it's being cooked can send me to the ER. I found out that I have a horrible allergy to shellfish after suffering from hives covering me from the top of my head to the bottom of my feet... for almost 3 months from Thanksgiving until Valentine's Day. I saw the doctor not knowing what was causing me to be so sick. They had to run all kinds of tests and eliminate things one at a time. By the time I saw an allergist to have the tests run I'd been SICK forever and just chowing down on anything and everything shellfish over the holidays. The only thing that didn't look good to me was that fried fish with it's head. Loved the show like usual... thanks! 👍
Dont mean to stereotype, but it seems a lot of thoes places are mostly dangerous to young/dumb/looking to party type folks. For the most part. The people there seem very lovely and warm. I bet they really love sharing there culture with others, what a treat. Im not much for seafood, but id love to sit down and hang out with them.
"Could be a guy that owed him money, could be a guy that looked at his sister funny" sounds a bit poetic or something... Great video! so many kinds of cheeses it sounds like there... when you mentioned honey, I wondered if you'd ever tried manuka honey, which is over in New Zealand and maybe some made in Australia - not sure about Australia, but I think I've seen it from there too.
What kind of food will you find? ... Dāv, the new cheese king! Awesome honey I'm shocked with all the frozen meats.... I wouldn't have guessed freezing opportunities ... Amazing breakfast man! ... Seafood! Let's go That lobster looks amazing Dude, those dishes just keep overflowing!! Amazing!!!! She spoiled you hard #EatthePlanet #RattleOn
Unsafe to alot of us this is home...unlike in America where you can't go shopping or kids go to school without the possibility of a active/ school shooter.....that's unsafe

I haven't but I certainly will when I get there
Great work as usual. I’m in Medellin recommend anything here or Lima?
I haven't been to those places yet
The whole country is good for food
That's NOT a baleada. Baleadas are made with flour only.
There are some new studies showing carcinogenic issues from aloe vera, GI cancer.
Studies done by who? Surely with big bucks by pharma maffia.
What kind of food will you find?

The only unsafe place is your rotten brain.
El Salvador is more nice.
Hopefully one day I'll visit there
