I remember back in master premier, the gyarados vs togekiss matchup was obviously favorable for togekiss, but if you timed your moves correctly and they don’t boost on the ancient power, gyarados was able to actually keep it pretty close. I wonder how this buff would affect that matchup

I was curious to how much damage Quad Boosted counters would do to something double weak/common like Obstagoon, it would take 6 counters to KO an Obstagoon from full HP

In fairness, magnezone recieving Volt Switch is a huge change, but that’s practically the only good electric to use lol.

@@jhonavenoquendo5422 Why would you waste an Elite TM on getting Dragon Tail on Gary? I get that its DPT is 1/3 higher than Dragon Breath, but there *is* no reason to use the ETM on a move that has similar stats to one another.
It needs a stab charged move that’s decent
@@ryanb6658 Which is why I suggested Brutal Swing for its Mega form. Hurricane is too expensive to get to because of Dragon Breath’s average EPT.

@@MrGhost-xzone ice beam or focus blast. Whichever one works best. Then if you really feel after trying these options out. If you believe shadowball will work best then try it out.
@@MrGhost-xzone remember, shadow mewtwo psystrike is fast to get to and hits extremely hard even if resisted.

Because it let's you get to a higher base level which is better for bulk and what not. In GL and UL having low attack is preferred

@ColtonMontgomery every time you power up a pokemon it gains levels. A high attack stat pokemon will gain CP at a higher rate than a lower attack stat. Type in your pokemon name and "PVP ivs" into Google and it will show you the best ivs for that pokemon in all the leagues.
@ColtonMontgomery Pogo doesn't Round Atk and Def stats so it's often best to get the highest possible total stats, which is commonly referred to as stat product or total stat product. Since Atk is what contributes most to CP, running a lower Atk IV allows your Pokémon to be a higher level while still being under the CP limit, which actually increases total stat product. Let's look at the Gyarados example, stats for the Gyarados in the vid:

Compare this to the stats of a hundo Gyarados:

So you're losing 4HP and ~4.5 Def to gain just 2.5 Atk, in most cases this isn't going to be worth it which is why the lower Atk is normally preferred as a starting point. From there you can try different IVs that do better against specific meta Pokémon or teams.
