These videos are absolute treasures. I am enraptured by them. The playing is exceptionally precise and consistent and the demonstrations crystal clear. After finding and watching these videos, I have a renewed interest in playing the cello and working on the Bach Suites, which I have loved for years. Thank you for taking the time to record and post the videos.

A great way to break down the piece. For a beginner, it will take a while to study it.

I'm not a cellist but I play some Bach's Suites with alto flute and your videos are very helpful to understand the pieces, thank you very much!

Thank you so much! This video was super helpful. I'm a bassoonist and this is an amazing video for explaining the phrasing.

I loved it, I was really in a pattern of not knowing what and how do I play, especially bach and this showed me edge perspective, exactly what I needed! Thank you, btw viola player 😂

The courante is a generally a fast dance, and the literal meaning of the word is "running"
