    I use the Shure PSM300 with the P3RA transmitter. It’s been a great system for me. I usually go out in the audience with my saxophone and move around a lot, and I never have any disruptions or dropouts in my ears, none. I do wish it had XLR/TRS inputs rather than just TRS, but all it takes is a simple adapter and it’s ready. I also wish the rechargeable battery option was not so pricey, but I just use AA batteries.

      why do you need it as option? You can buy any rechargeable battery separately, isn't it?

    The nice thing about most in ears (I know Sennheiser ew g4 cause I use it) you can run two mixes with one transmitter. Just need to body packs.

    Which system would be best for touring bands? I understand that Shure PSM300 amongst others can have some issues out of state due to different bandwidths. I was also told that Audio Technica is the way to go for a band that tours the states. Any info you guys have is helpful and thank you!

    • @sweetwater
      @sweetwater  3 дні тому +1

      Hey there, Chris! Yes, Audio-Technica ATW-3255 is a great choice for touring bands, as the one system covers the entire RF bandwidth. Where something like the PSM300 has 3 different bands to choose from, the ATW has any frequency available all in one system. With that said, the Shure PSM1000 is certainly a standard amongst touring acts. Those are extremely reliable systems regardless of RF traffic in that area.
      I hope this helps!

    So the Galaxy system in this list of all others professional systems. Does it mean we can use it on professional concerts, restaurants where musicians require Shure PSM 300 at least? Can we use Galaxy any spot on professional-grade stages? Does it gives the sound equal to Shure PSM 300? And does it works in stereo?

      Hi Harold, thanks for the question! Designing a wireless IEM system for 20 individuals, especially if it is being integrated into a system with existing wireless, is a little more in-depth than a UA-cam comment can cover! We would love to help you configure a solution, so feel free to give your Sales Engineer a ring, or if you are not currently working with anyone at Sweetwater, I would be happy to help you out!
