I think reading a book w someone who is not in your presence is fabulous. And I bring a book on trail too. 😊 It definitely worth the weight and give my mind a different form of relaxation. Awesome job Sass…love your videos! 🥰🥾🥾⛺️🌸
Sass, check out "AS FAR AS THE EYE CAN SEE" by David Brill. It is a thru hike book about the A.T. and the only A.T. book that made me feel as though I was thru hiking while reading it. It is a very good read and quite different than your hike and even my 1990 hike. He thru hiked in 1978 if I remember correctly.
Nice part about printed books, no batteries needed. If only you could pickup something to read at a shelter and then swap it for another book up the trail. In theory it would work but I'm sure people would forget and take the book with them.
One thing that helped me save pack weight and still read a physical book was too cut a book into two or three sections and put the future sections in my bounce box 🤣
Love the idea having a book to read on trail. Good choice on new shoes color. ❤😊
Dartmouth and sweets in Hanover 🥰‼️💯‼️🥰
NH did not disappoint 😦😦
Yay! For real books on the trail. 👍🏻 👍🏻
You’re soooo right! Books are awesome!!
I always carry a book with me on trail. You’re right and everyone else is wrong. 😊
Hey, that's my library! Bummed I missed you all. You were like 20 feet away from my office.

As always hike your own hike. If you want to bring a book then bring a book. Keep on hiking!
Hey Sass, glad you are enjoying your zero day. Hope your new shoes work well. Happy hiking❤

Where was the mural? What are your recommendations for women's hiking shoes?
I'm reading the subtext here: it seems like at least some members of the tramily decided it was time to HYOH
