My FJ80 just takes forever for the windows to go up and down. I need to get in there and lube stuff up. It was sitting for a while before i got my hands on it.
I had a 81-86 Corrola wagon that had a window issue. The Hilux window problem was aging rubber, unlubricated hinging and a dodgy relay. Hopefully youll sort it out. Appears we have the same assembly otherwise.
My roller has come out of its tracks and the arm seems to be solid and I can't move it to get the roller back in, I'm no expert car person was just trying to have a crack myself, my window is stuck 3 quarters the way down and can't get it rite up.
Really like the 80 series car videos. good break from the tech stuff.

Just undo all the bolts and pull the mechanism from the big whole, easy as sneeze
