So help me understand. You say you have a significant number of customers who come in interested in the lower trim level but nearly everything you have in stock is not the lower trim level? I didn't go to Harvard Business School but it seems to me you would want to keep product in stock that your customers want to buy.
Hey brother thanks for watching. I think what Jason was trying to say was that manufactures advertise base prices but show optioned vehicles. Dealer order the vehicles optioned because the market for people actually buying a stripped down version is low. People want the stripped down base price with all the options. I think that’s the disconnect.
I'm a Wrangler girl . Workin' on my 5th one now. Leased my 2012 then bought it out waiting for the Gladiator to finally show up. Can say I'm NOT impressed and want another Wrangled instead. Wanna trade mine with 30,000 mile for book. (Between $22000-24000) take $13000 and buy a lease for cash . (Advertised at $5000 down $189 a month 36 months.) So around $13000. Then either turn it in or buy it out again. Walk with a check around $9-10000 . Dealer seemed confused salesman said he never heard of that. What am I doing wrong ? I keep this jeep in pristine condition to do exactly this and they say ok maybe so the find me a lowest wrangler they can find $29000 and $5000 cash in hand in hand . Nope nope nope !
Of course, you can change the price but you just know, it's taking advantage of the customer I work at the Toyota and it's the same thing they do. You want to make $12, 500 more for the bacic price, and jeep knows you guys do that, but they don't care too.
The best thing to do is shop around. My local dealer wanted $72,000 for a Rubicon yes $72,000!!!! This is not honest information, it is a perfect example how you are going to get screwed as a customer. But, in my pocket I hold the power to buy at the best honest price not the crap of “they are rare” “everyone want one”

So adding Power windows, keyless entry, and towing costs $12,000 🤔
I guess so! Must be nice to be able to charge that kind of money
Go for a percentage off of invoice. Don't show up owing on your trade. Have good credit. Shop around. Most of all be patient.
Joshua Jeremy truth brother!!
U can order them now right from jeeps website and have them delivered?
With Covid I think possibly?
Could you trade in a lease truck a Jeep Gladiator
I feel like Jeep is being a bit dishonest here the base price doesn’t even come with a roof of any kind...

Cash is king! And being informed is icing on that cake! Adm can get crazy. Like on those gt500’s and C8’s
Somebody needs to sue them because of false advertising
I want a bare bones one with manual and tires
That would be sick
