A dear friend of mine shot himself last year on June 2nd. I found out when I got to work on the 3rd. As bad as that is, he wasn't fully successful, so he was on life support until family could fly in to say goodbye. They let him go on the morning of the 5th, which is tomorrow. I wasn't able to be there thanks to C0vid restrictions.
This version of the song with the additional lyrics is helping me get through this painful time. That's why this Extended Version is so important to me. Thank you Friend.

i'm really sorry for your loss. It's crazy how this song came to me at a time when i was trying to find the words to say to three people tonight as they suffer on several levels from losses - one the sudden death of her young husband, another who also lost her husband suddenly and unexpectedly, and the third the accidental suicide of his roommate. This extended version gives me the time to find the words, while drowning out the rest of the world.
I'd like to think Dan and the rest can hear this from wherever they are and laugh and smile, and groove.
Sorry for your loss. Wishing you lots of strength to process and eventhough you could not be there, your friend definitely knew, and knows you're thinking of him all the time.

Scale / Progression influences little melancholy with a hint of hope..
It's harmonic so I don't get bored until I milked it for 20 hours. After that, I shift the gear and listen to it at x1.5, that's another 20 hours.
