- Since I don't highway street race, roll racing at the track is the way to go! My eRay is BONE STOCK and I've said it before and I'll say it again, this generation of Corvettes(Z06 and eRay) are supercars! But at the end of the day it's all talk till you show up at the track. There's an old saying that goes, "those who **** around, tend to always find out". Well I decided to mess around and roll race a $600k +740 HP Tuned Lamborghini Aventador SV, 600+ WHP FBO R35 GTR, and a Ferrari 488 Pista; and boy did I FIND OUT...enjoy the video.

Excellent video… of all the stock cars in the world with no modifications. In my opinion Ferrari will always be number one but what you’ve done with this CORVETTE is definitely outstanding and for the price you really can’t beat it. CORVETTE for the money is the way to go… stay safe out there… Excellent video❤

Awesome racing that Eray is fast as hell. For the money its more impressive then the Ferrari. Man u could twin turbo or pro charge that Eray still have hundreds of thousands in the bank lol!!
C8 looks better than any car built my opinion anyway.

Thank you, as cool as it would be to do some heavy modifications, usually he never goes well. I like keeping cars stock with basic BoulTawns. Right now this car is stuck and I plan to actually keep it completely stock.

You were ahead of svj before you hit the line to go and that put you ahead but he was reeling you in
I was a control car and he knew the exact speed we were supposed to be at, he had no issue getting to the Speed we're supposed to, but instead he hung back a little bit and did a slingshot. When you do a slingshot you actually have a advantage over the car that's in front of you. So it was an even race. He knew the rules, and he Did what he thought he needed to do to try to win.

Leave it in auto when you are roll racing
Very tough to do, Car will upshift to a non-optimal gear and then try to downshift before you go and it's just waste a lot of time
You start in manual and select the gear you want. When the flag drops you immediately, click drive and let it shift automatically.
The eray boost district built would have killed them all
Of course, this isn't a comparison of who can do the fastest build. It's a comparison of what cars from the factory are the best and factory car can compare slightly modded cars.

I roll raced an Eray outside Phoenix from 70 in my C8 Z06 and won pretty easy. Track mode manually shift (paddles) kept my rpms high at the hit and shifted at about 8200 and never seen that Eray. Ran up to 175mph and idk when that ERay gave up but he took the L

A supercharged or TT E-Ray will beat Z06 both dig or roll while LT6 can't be modded at all.
@kinggor555hk thats interesting because its been done already. What do you think the Zr1 is? But Ill inform you like I have others. C8 Z06 at its price point is the best track car you can buy. At its price point what does the Eray do???? Thats right nothing special. If you just want to fast light to light get a Tesla plaid its cheaper. Once you start talking about modding you have to equally modify the other to keep it apples to apples. A modded C8 Z06 is surely going to beat a modified Eray in the application Corvettes shine in. Drag racing isnt it. However they do all things well. And at a track like VIR Z06 bone stock probably still win against a modified Eray
@scruffyo3099 of course ZR1 is the beast, but ZR1 is not flat plane crank. It will be a cross plane due to reliability. So Z06 is doomed and not the same car to compare. The hybrid Zora will beat ZR1. Even the ecu can be hacked or modded in the future on z06(not available NOW), it is still very unreliable to mod a flat plane crank engine. LT2 has been proofed for excellent reliability already. You keep saying to buy the ugly Tesla for drag race or light to light use is not right. EV and ICE cars are in two different worlds. EV can beat ICE cars on the track nowadays too. It makes no difference to me if I don't drive a full EV and I am not interested at all. So bring me a stock ICE car that can beat the E-Ray with around the same cost. It really depends if you need the lowend torque or not. I think E-Ray is better for all season, all weather, all road situations compare to the track focus of z06. How often can you enjoy the 70+ mph in the city or local highway? How often do you take the z06 to track? If you don't track the z06 at least once a month, I think that is no reason to get z06 over. Do you dare to race an E-Ray while it is raining or in snowing days? I guess most of people will just store or hide their z06 in the garage during winter time while E-Ray has less restrictions in this category besides modification. I think that should answer you what can E-Ray do with its price point.

Because people want to see how a stock car can fair against lightly modified cars that are all over the place. Obviously people came to watch this video so they want to find out.

I have a supercharged c8 built motor running 3.1 60-100 on the street. Even a supercharged eray is running slower than a supercharged c8 with a built motor in a 1/4 mile. These hybrids are heavy. Extra 155hp not worth the weight
