I enjoyed the list and the explanation you gave for each selection. There are a couple series on your list I haven’t read but its on my tbr for 2024 (Land of the lustrous, Komi can’t communicate).

There are many great manga stories that will appeal to a person taste.
Thank you for sharing your top 10! I have had quite a few recommend Space Brothers. I’m shock there was never a physical release. I also might have cried multiple times during the 86 anime. Tempted to check out the LN.
Sometimes people underestimate OP because of the anime's shortcomings & the fandom, but it's genuinely a great series. It's not long AND always up there on polls for no reason. Also, so glad you mentioned Skip & Loafer, it's currently my favorite shoujo. Regarding Pluto, I thought they could've done better with the adaptation, but hey, at least more people will get to know Urasawa's works.
Edit: if you like Vinland Saga, might wanna check out Kingdom too. Though it's war & politics themed, it's pretty easy to follow, and pretty insane too.
I would love to check out Kingdom if it were to ever have an english release. I have heard so many good things about the manga.
Great list. I really love skip and loafer. Have you tried yotsuba manga. It's such a feel good and fun manga. Do give it a try.
I have read the first volume of Yotsuba&! My kids have 15 volumes. It is a very wholesome, I will need to check out the rest of the series.
I've heard great stuff about land of the lustrous, looking forward to giving it a try!

first time hearing of witch hat atelier and just bought it cause even though im reading berserk and vagabond, i have a sister younger than me and i would like for her to get into manga and she also likes fantasy and harry potter so it looked like a perfect oportunity, thanks!

there are so many great digital or without official english translations mangas, also korean and chinese and becoming popular. You are missing out.
Off the top : sumire 16 sai, mitsudomoe, ishida to asakura, 10th dimension boys, otoko chikan, onanie master kurosawa, shijuku swan, zatch bell, shin chan, Kono Oneesan wa Fiction desu!?, life is money, oretama, liar game, and of course the 5 other series the author of Kaiji has made, yes they are as good as kaiji, the author is that guy.

Komi can't communicate is such an amazing manga! Yes, Komi is kind of a Mary Sue BUT the manga is so fun and relatable and I agree with you that it is such a comfort read! ❤

I have not yet had a chance to read Umineko. I was actually surprised that Yen Press did not reprint the series in 2023 since Higurashi was reprinted. Umineko is my number 1 holy grail series that I do hope one day to own.

If you're into sports manga, highly recommend Real!, Holyland and the Climber (not yet released in America but written by the same author as Innocent)

While I acknowledge the acclaim and popularity of Berserk. I have not yet read Berserk due to the heavy nature in the manga's intense and graphic adult content. For reference I started reading Battle Royal and had to drop it as it was too much for me.
