There's no such thing as race blind especially when one group of people has historical received privilege in banking, housing, education, generational wealth. I 100% AGREE that “Legacy” acceptance needs to be done away with, HOWEVER ”Legacy” usually comes with $$$ Attached.
Example Mom and Pop both went to Harvard, Mom is now a Doctor at a prestigious Hospital and Dad is a Lawyer working at one of the Best Legal Firms in the State, Combined they donate 50k a Year to Harvard and have for the past 15 years, THEN their daughter graduates from High School and applies to Harvard, NOW little Suzy doesn’t need to take out student loans, Mom and Pop can pay all 4+ years up front! Does Harvard say “Nope, Sorry we are all filled up, maybe try Next Year?”
If Harvard did that what do you think that 50k a year they have been making to the University for the last 15 years is gonna happen?
I don’t like Legacies BUT those really have nothing to do with race, it has EVERYTHING to do will past Graduates making “Donations” AND knowing that the University will Continue to receive donations for decades to come.

Exactly my point! Black women have proven themselves to be incompetent at raising Kids and managing their money. Making, saving money and paying bills, necessary for any business to survive and profit are things most women don't have the skills or discipline and especially so for Black women have failed at time and time again!
