The oil drain plug is 'right hand thread' so it's clockwise to tighten and anticlockwise to slacken. The terminology matters and the misunderstanding is because you were on top of the said bolt. Thank you for your video, its helped me.

I know nothing, but what is the oil drain plug for? Why not put the old one back in? Do I need an oil drain plug? That's the only part I'm confused about

Clear and concise, but don't screw the dipstick in to check the level, now you have a false reading indicating that it's fuller than it is

Nice instructions for newbies (thumbs up). Tip of advise: Remove the oil cap; then the bolt. This way you remove all the oil in the engine and also quite faster.
I have a question though; does it have oil filter?

@@Zed-kc7cr you put 1.100 ML after rebuilding .. on service you should put 900 ML . I believe it can take about 50-80ML more without any issue but I would not risk it because overfilled engine oil will put additional pressure on engine and can cause damage .The first sign that you have overfilled is white smoke coming out of the exhaust ( don't ask how I know it 🤣)

Just bought one of these lovely machines for £1100 so was expecting it to be in great condition. All work he did on it was perfect, all was more or less like new except....he forgot to refill the oil sump! It was bone dry, had I not checked it and just went on to use the bike, I hate to think what would have happened

CBF 125 does not have an oil filter. It has an oil strainer and you have to remove the right engine cover to check it and clean it. You do that every 12000 kms.
