Draw/Process E12: Drawing a comic book page

As I draw page 12 of First Son and Sword, I talk about choosing your shots, keeping them from being to prescribed, predictable, symmetrical; and the same regarding character expressions and acting. I talk about the story and intent behind the panels I'm drawing, finding balance in speed vs. accuracy, and sticking to the ABC's in sequential panels: Action, reaction, consequence; or, Antecedent, Behavior, Consequence; or intent, action, reaction--whatever you want to call it.

Nice work , how long does it actually take to do the page including the thumbnail etc .?

4-8 hours, I think, if you count thumbnail, the page, scanning, color, and lettering. I do some rewriting on dialogue during the lettering phase, so sometimes that adds a lot of time.
