Lucas, as usual it a very interesting and informative video and one reason that your videos are so popular is that you have a very positive attitude and don’t complain about things. You are in a foreign country and on occasion you point out differences in Thai customs but it’s never with disrespect or malice, and for those of us that don’t watch soap operas, it is appreciated and makes viewing enjoyable.
You struck gold on this one i have been coming to Bangkok for over 15 years and i have never seen a dinner cruise like this, but no matter what when i am able to return i will book a room and the dinner cruise i am so impressed.. L.A Rob
You should make a big business of this man. Organized traveltours on motorbikes. Both long and short trips. Apparently you have so much knowledge when it comes to bikes and Thailand. I would sign up immediately. Ride safe
Well done, my friend! So that looked very relaxing on the river and the weather right now in Thailand is perfect in the early evening. Beautiful river ride... I noticed a tug boat .. I used to run the tugs on the St. John’s river in Jax, Fl for Moran. Vee looking fresh and happy lately... b safe on your trip... c u in the next one.
Epic vid R4K really enjoyed the river cruise and bike footage. The temples / ruins stunning at sunset Up there on your top 10 list for me this one, so glad your on the move again both because I'm pleased for you guys and I think your content is even more of a pleasure to watch when your touring! Keep em coming all the best from the UK 🇬🇧 keep safe on those roads 👍🙏
just put this entire vlog on my to do list thanks for sharing been Ayutthaya many times before but just done the ruins and famous buddha head in tree sights , thanks for sharing Loucus
I just love going about Thailand with you vloggers and seeing the different oldy world means of transport, those old boats look magnificent and the transport from hotel to boat is just another version of songthaew. As I'm sure you know all over in Thailand they have different versions of these cheap means of moving people about.
Fantastic video and great job. I have always wanted to go to Ayutthaya, you have just given me another reason why I should go. That dinner on the boat looked like so much fun. I just love your channel. Thank you mak mak!
Ah I remember when I got to the age when I couldn't just ride my bike all day and then go out at night 😎🙏. A 300 klick ride in the tropics demands a quiet night round the pool and doing the boat trip the next day. You looked whacked😆. Great video though. I've been to Ayutthaya but only on a day trip by coach from BKK. Thanks to your information I will definitely do the river trip, but after a good nights sleep. Take care.
Now sir, I’ve mentioned my opinions in the past about vlogs advertising your mates bar, yes my thoughts are unfavourable! But....This video is what vlogging is all about, doing your own stuff, especially unique things like this! I’d rate this vlog 11 out of 10 because I’ve always said you’re much better doing “your” things. Watching this vlog gets me very interested about unknown parts of Thailand, and I must say you did a great job showing this, and as a result of your very good efforts here, I’d love to travel along that river and spend a few days in that town, exceptional vlog!! 👍
I don't see the problem of sharing info on other bars or places. They need all the help they can get. Especially now. Regular Thais work there. Abd many are desperate. You don't have to go there.
as far as I'm concerned, its his channel and he can choose to put on what content he wishes. I reckon you don't agree or like it.. don't watch it. move on
@@goodo5691 yes it’s his channel, of course he puts what he wants, not an argument from me, it’s a given actually! However, guys that run UA-cam channels like this are always looking for likes and shares, together with feedback! I’ve given feedback, it’s a little bit negative on one part re previous vlogs, but a lot of positivity as you can see on this vlog! I didn’t realise that I’m not allowed to leave an opinion on UA-cam comments unless they’re 100% favourable, sorry about that mate. My only problem with leaving comments is that I’m always 100% truthful, both with negative and positive feedbacks and comments, so I’m sorry you disagree. Anyway, we do agree that the river looks brilliant and it seems a perfect place for beer and some grub 👍👍
Great place Ayutthaya lived there my first 6 months in Thailand still didn’t get to see everything there. Has a lot of Thai history and the island was once the capitol and a major trade hub for all of Asia.
10:45 mark was the temple in the movie. Mortal Kombat. I like the view and area definitely one of the spots I have to visit when I go back for a vacation.
Well, that place looks like a nice place to live with nice buildings, and I just like that hotel and that dining I thought was nice and cheap for the service you get and transportation.
Ive been to ayutthia a couple of times, love the old temples, and had lunch at a little restaurant, I don’t recall the name but the best seafood i have had in Thailand......thanks for the great video Lucas!
Thank you so much for your generosity in sharing your adventures Lucas. Your ‘back catalogue’ of videos are a treasure-trove for those of us stuck outside of Thailand! Long may you continue uploading your excellent videos! 🥰
Love this video. Perfect way to go out for a meal. I did the same in india hired a bike and travelled south to meet my boat, I had it for one day and night by myself. Lots of food and my own captain and chef.
Hi Lucus what a great way to have dinner on the river. The scenery was breathtaking and the food looked yummy. Enjoyed your video and look forward to seeing more on this adventure. Take care. GOD Bless you and yours. M
Loved the ruins Lucas. It almost looked like you were on another planet. Very different from the norm. It looked very relaxing though, but the motor on the boat seemed a tad loud.
Really enjoyed this one! BTW, you did not miss much by skipping out on the Super Bowl early - booooring! I have been to Thailand many times but never to Ayutthya. I am sure I am nit the only viewer thinking that a sunset dinner cruise there is definitely on my list of things to do next visit. Stay safe!
Awesome stuff.I've booked to go in October to this place just hope i can come.Always good you're videos fella full of good information as usual.Hope too meet you one day
been to Ayutthaya, awesome place and is also related to a city in my country(called Ayodhaya), so was a pretty amazing experience.Sad that the old capital got bombarded and was then subsequently deserted.
Beautiful small town I guess I wanted to there last feb when I was there in Thailand but I had to leave for Vietnam so my schedule was tight and thought that while returning I will do it but had to leave for my home country from Vietnam due to pandemic.
I've always wanted to visit Ayutthaya but it never fit in to any of my past trips to Thailand, especially because all of the tours seemed to start at billing for 2 people and I usually travel solo. Thanks for the great video and keep the rubber side down. :)
Love your trip vids. Great to see more of Thailand. Ayutthaya is a place I intend to visit whenever I can travel again to Thailand. Love the ruins.. just up my street as a Historian. 👍👍
Now seen this video on the atty river cruise me and wife going book a trip on it in may for wife birthday but we going to stay at sky hotel next to the river
Wow very nice..its a special feeling when the hotel workers run round to make you feel welcome ...super river cruise 👍great to see you getting away from pattaya.a refreshing change indeed . Best regards
We have the same problem with smog and little white bits dropping down in the RGV part of Texas -from Sugar Cane, still a big crop here, with a 5 year growth cycle
went to Ayuthaya on my first visit to Thailand, visited 6 or 7 temples while there. im interested in the route you took bypassing the congestion in bkk.
Yeah, no need to stay in Chonburi. Just leave at night or early a.m. and add 17 turns to your route. No problem avoiding the checkpoints. I've never seen a checkpoint open before 9 a.m. anyway. Good strategy and obviously it worked.
What a great first day adventure, I've been to Ayutthaya once but to the ruins only, thank you both for the wonderful trip through your eyes, safe travels L and V. 🙏🏽
Really enjoyed this one and look forward to where you go for the next 1700Km. What never ceases to amaze me is the down ticks you get. Not so many here but usually around 40 or so. I mean if you don't like what's here why do you watch it? Is it the same people every time? Strange, very strange.
Nice Trip, Why did you decide to live in Pattaya ? I visited there back in 2016 and 2017 I am looking to retire in Hua Hin in about 6 months or so. We get a lot of good info from you and your trips. Thanks
Fantastic video sir. Been watching you for a while now. Just curious, you mentioned you might have had the hotel all to yourself so was that the best room available? I’m thinking you might have been able to negotiate/ask to have a better room if there were others available (not negating the one that you had though haha)

The ride on the river is unforgettable. I did it a long time ago.

Nice to u to take V home to look around again ! Beautiful area like all over in Thailand !
That was an awesome boat ride. Sunset was amazing. Thanks for sharing.
Stunning river scenery. I think you need a few days to see everything at a nice leisurely pace

Great video ! One of your better ones. The river dinner cruise looked very nice and good value!

Easily one of my favorite videos you've ever done. Amazing. I am doing this someday.
The Buddha head in the tree is one of my favorite visits in Ayutthaya. I'll never forget it. I hope I get to see it again in person.
