I have been sitin here for a hour trying figure this out tunin my hunk a junk up and down.Whoo da thought the tuneing was in the coments. Some day when i have roofed enough roofs and delivered enough pizzas i will get one of your fine banjos. May the force be with you.
Enjoy this? I bought their album "A Passing Glimpse" and it`s absolutely beautiful. Buy their music. You`ve nothing to lose and lots of wonderful music to gain! Tony
Oh my God... was it really 11 years ago I left a comment here... just as perfect as it was when I heard it first. Pharis and Jason I hope you and your family are all well. Bless you and take care
How have I not heard of you wonderful folks before tonight, when I tracked this down after listening to Prarie Home Companion?! You're my new faves. Love it all!
I have a friend that lives up the hill from 150 mile. Next time I'm up that way I would love to get up to Horse Fly and look at your banjos. We have gone up to Horse Fly a couple of times. I can see why you choose there. Real small town old time feeling about the place.
Saw this vid. Then saw your other vid. Then bought one of your albums. Then feel in love with the both of you. One day I'll own one of those romeros. Thanks guys
How fun is this. I know this song from an old National Geographic album called Music of the Ozarks I bought decades ago, it's quite different from what's here, and very earthy, but this version is memorable in its own right, an actual piece of music. Nicely done.
I saw your vid from fretboard journal. I think you two are great! I enjoyed this video as well. I am a rock guitarist, but someday, if I ever get a banjo, it will be a Romero!!
This is really beautiful. Have been a fan of your banjos and music for a few years now, and am even more of an admirer after seeing these recent videos (especially great to see the vimeo/fretboard video)
Absolutely wonderful playing....if you make it to Michigan...I would like to see you at The Ark in Ann Arbor...couldn't think of a better venue to listen in...
I kid you not. This is my most watched UA-cam video. Absolutely mesmerizing. Even years later I still come back to revisit this feeling. Love y’all!
Banjo tuning: f #BF#BD#
This is taken from their Long Gone Out West Blues cd liner
Man, this song never gets old. This is my favorite song and my favorite version
Who is still coming to listen to this wonderful song in 2023?
ME!! In 2024 yet. First heard when it first came out. Undoubtedly the best version ever. These two are a treasure.
@@andylowe6968 me too, I just asked Jason and Phris to make a new version of the song , in the same place by the brook. Hope they do it!
what a beautiful song. Brings a tear to my eye
Love that tickling banjo and simple harmonies.
They make great music and banjos together. That is one of those lucky matches that we all get to share the beauty of.
Thanks so much, Jason & Pharis. You changed my life. thank you.

Makes me smile every time
Love that little shared smile at the end. So glad they both share their time at Voiceworks....a real blessing.
This is my new favorite thing ever.
Everything about this is totally beautiful!
That must have been the best timing I've ever seen - sun coming out from the clouds just as the song ends! Beautiful song and lovely scenery!
Oh my God... was it really 11 years ago I left a comment here... just as perfect as it was when I heard it first. Pharis and Jason I hope you and your family are all well. Bless you and take care
