I appreciate you being positive about buying an rv-being cautious is required, and it’s vital to make an informed decision, but the end result is supposed to be fun-thanks for the reminder!
Thanks for the shoutout, Deb! For anyone interested, I have some videos to help in RV shopping including recommendations on what to buy if shopping new or used. As I always say, get an inspection on new or used!
Another great future topic would be discussing what energy/utility systems are as close to 'closed-circuit' rechargeable as possible. I personally don't find any shame in using generators (especially quieter ones) to help recharge the RV's system. Solar is great for desert areas, but if one is primarily camping up North or where the climate is not always sunny, wouldn't a solar-only system be a waste of $? I like the idea of power redundancy to be covered for all kinds of situations.
Morning Deb, you crack me up sometimes during your video's, you're so down to earth honest in a world that's normalizing crazy,,,,,,,,, Buying a new or used RV isn't for the ignorant, you have to have a good solid knowledge of what you are going to buy no matter what it is or you're going to get scalped by the unscrupulous con man seller. As always Deb, find a path to the brighter side of life, who knows, you just might find it.
Thanks Mike! Haha it can sometimes be my downfall because I just say what I think. Yes, there is crazy all around us! I try to stay in my happy bubble. Again, thanks for the comments! Have a good week😊
My coworkers at work at work ask me what type of rv should I buy. Find a floor plan your like, but make sure you have a rv inspector look at it before you buy. Plus make sure you have a 100% refundable deposit. Thanks Don
Thanks Deb for recommending the Liz Amazing channel. From taking a quick glance at her video lineup, there's a lot of valuable info there regarding RVs. I'll definitely be signing up for your checklist too. When you purchase an RV, it's not a small expenditure - it's usually very significant, and we need to be doing our research before taking the buying plunge. I don't see a brand new RV in my future, primarily because of the high purchase prices, and the overall quality isn't as good as some of the older, better quality RVs. A small Class C is as big as I want to go; a little more living space for me and my 80-lb sidekick. Looking forward to seeing more videos about your own RV journey. Thanks!
With so much shoping online today, requiring and arranging your own inspection can protect against fraud and scams. P.S. Place a link to your other channel in your remarks area. Bill
Hi Deb, you have helped us all so much. I am planning to purchase a 2025 Thor Compass 24KB in November from La Mesa Phoenix location. They seem to be the only ones who sell this motorhome. I have plans to contact you to have you perform the inspection especially since I support women owned businesses. As a woman I am fearful of being taken advantage of by the dealer. I’d appreciate any advice. Thank you Deb!!!😊
Ok wonderful! I will certainly be available for you in November. Thor’s do not have the best reputation, but getting an inspection will help get anything repaired before you take it off the lot. Just let me know when you are ready. I will send you a list of requirements then you can also send that list to the dealership. I appreciate the support and will make sure you are taken care of. Just fill out the contact form on my website when it is time😊
What RV has an overall better quality in your opinion? Next year I might be selling my house and traveling... but don't want to get stuck with some weird lemon that looked good at the start.
@@anniesshenanigans3815 each type of RV has its pros &cons. Each company as well. This is a very broad question IMHO and you should do a bunch of research here on YT. No RV is ever perfect. Just don't go to Camping World (there, I said it for you Deb) without an inspector.

Yes in places that have lots of clouds you want an onboard gas or propane generator to help. I have both and love it.

Very well presented! People need to do their homework first then hire a qualified Rv inspector! Keep up the great work!
Thank you Brian!!
👍🏼.
N looking forward to your personal adventures. 🍻
Thank you! 😊

I agree! Floor plan is huge. If you don’t like your floor plan it doesn’t matter how nice or quality the RV is.
Great vid! Buying my 3rd rig this winter and I'm headed to your website to download your digital inspection list.
Yay! Thank you!

Which type? Travel trailer, motorhome or 5th wheel?
@@debsrvservices well, that is my question, which one??

🤣🤣🤣
It is a tough question but I am making a video about my progression into my class C for the next Thursday video. Maybe it will help you.
