Professor D, I want to take some time and say thank you from the bottom of my heart. I am a horrible test taker and sometimes I thought something was wrong with me for not understanding certain things but it was the way they were being taught to me. I came across your channel pretty late in my schooling but GOD knew when I needed you the most. I know you hear this everyday but you are one of the main reasons I am a nurse today. The way you break things down, the way you engage us, the way you yell at us, I absolutely love you for it. I passed my test back in 85 questions and I was actually understanding what the questions were asking of me when once upon a time I was mostly trying to make an educated guess. Don't want to take up too much of your time but I really need you to know how important you are. When you say ppl stalk you, it's because there is no one and I mean NO ONE else like you. You don't even know us but yet we, well I always felt like you were rooting for me like you did. When you say "Look in my eyeballs when I tell you this." I'd be like yes ma'am 😂. So thank you thank you ❤. I have shared your channel with classmates, friends, and even a few strangers. I seen a girl reading a Saunders book at Panera bread, started a conversation and took her to your channel, told her you were all she needed 😂. I still come to watch and support and I passed in June. Thanks for everything you do! 😊
I didn't see the ECG strip =/ (around 6m 30s)...my school teaches aspirin is an anti-platelet but I understand that it could be related to anti-thrombotic...thank you for doing this for the future nurses, I appreciate you =]
I was surprised when she said it played an antithrombotic role, i was almost certain aspirin is an antiplatelet, i'll have to go back to my books again and confirm that property
I appreciate. you Professor D , as a mom with a young kid its not always easy to read as in depth as I would like. Your videos always help me study !!!
I was struggling to figure out how to approach answering nursing exam questions and within 24 hours of watching a handful of your videos I have already seen a marked improvement! Thank you 🙏🏼 You break it down in an easy way ! Cannot believe they do not teach us this week 1 or nursing school
Professor D!! Aka.. Professor Dynamite!! You're so amazing. TY for all of your videos. P.S. Can you give the Dets on your unit You're wearing in this video? It's so nice..
Hi! I graduate in December and some of my tips for you is to 1. Try to eliminate outside distractions 2. Get a huge whiteboard, and “teach your dog, kid, stuffed animal” 3. Prioritize studying, if you have yo leave your house do so! Barnes and noble, Starbucks, wherever! 4. Record your lectures if you’re able to. Listen to them again and take notes you might have missed. 5. Make a study group, 1 or 2 other people is enough. Too many people can get distracting. 6. Watch ALL of Professor Ds videos when it pertains to what you are learning! I could go on and on but good luck you! You got this! And you are going to be an amazing nurse! Side note, I did not pass my second semester and had to retake it! Don’t be too hard on yourself you will get to the end! ❤
