Great video guys. Love watching your vids as I'm buying a motorhome myself for me and my wife and 2 kids next year and love the idea of traveling around Europe regards ged reale
Touring parks in the UK are pedantic about maintaining a safe distance between vehicles for fire safety and insurance reasons. Aligning correctly with the pitch peg is drummed into us relentlessly on arrival and photos of unit fires are often on display to emphasise the point. Anyone failing to comply once on site is asked to realign. Continental Europe takes a much more relaxed approach, as demonstrated well in your videos. Somewhere in the middle feels about right to me. Thanks for sharing your holiday with us. It’s lovely to see the boys enjoying themselves - it brings back lovely memories as our youngest is now 20.
We love the system in Croatia. You arrive, head and find a pitch that suits you. Leave a child there to protect it and head back to check in! Its gorgeously informal, but not packed on top of each other.
Hehehehe!!! Love a wine induced ramble!! Very coherent if you ask me- not sure I would broadcast what happens outside our tent once the wine is flowing!!... or that anyone would watch!!
I love yout spontaneity in choosing sites, my wife couldn't cope. She's not even keen on wild camping in the middle of no where. The boys seem like right water babies, do they swim as much at home? You certainly crammed a lot into your truncated road trip. Not much longer before they go back to school, are they OK about it? Keep up with the vlogs they help normalize everything. Guy.
We usually have a route and 1 or 2 options for each night on our route. But 2020 has been change after change, after change, so this trip was much more spontaneous than usual! Having said that, having a route in mind doesn't mean we always stick to it 🤣 It gets easier with practice.
Was thinking of asking u for a quote for a sign...but at the prices of some of your sites have been think you'll be wanting to top up your bank balance so a bit worried.🤔😄
I find France a bit strange they have to many rules and regulations Budgie smugglers only in pools !! Wtf Most things need booking or reserving Most answers are “ not possible “ I hope Spain is better for motor homing next year
France is actually fab for motorhoming, the Aire system is amazing if you want a cheap parkup in a great location. The "rules" can be a bit of a pain, thankfully nobody shouted at us when we broke them (by accident ;-). I'm thinking positive that everywhere will be better for all our adventures next year.
