Located inside the cab, the pump panel allows the operator to work out of the elements. On the pump panel two doors provide easy access to hydraulic valve actuators if the values would need to be operated manually. my grandfather was a fire fighter in the 60's & 70's (back when you rode to a fire standing on the back holding a leather strap).. He passed away in the early 80's - If he saw this truck in 2022 he would think he was in a Science Fiction movie
Agreed...I'm 75 now, St Paul buy's 11 mack type 95s in 1950... total was 150,000.00$,for 10 engines ,1 heavy squad,almost ea. Rig gave 30 yrs service in -30°,🥶❄️🌬️salt,potholes etc,this 1 of sweetest Pierce engines ever, black/ red is 👀❗❗
6:50 - traffic advisors on the inside of the doors. So cool.
engines have had these since the 50’s
Love the "blacked out" look! Gorgeous engine!!
Yup
Seems to have become the standard nowadays
@@Carterthielftw_ yes it does! I myself bought a 2020 RAM 1500 with the "black edition " package. Everything is black, no chrome. Shes beautiful, love the truck! RAM really kicked ass designing this beauty, as long as you get her with the 5.7 HEMI!! Lol
@@mongolikechewchew2475 screw chrome. this is not the 70s, this is 20201
@david Weis agreed. The craftsmanship on these rigs (considering they're mostly custom) is phenomenal!
New meaning to dropping the bed if you forget to lock those slide outs
Love how the top cab black tinted windows blend in perfectly with the black paint. Very slick.
Part of me wants a Firetruck just for everyday driving and confusing the crap outta people.
Most advanced and awesome looking rig love the pump panel on inside nice quiet cool r warm environment
This is one gorgeous engine!!
Very nice pair with the ladder truck. Both look amazing with there blacked out look and so does all the lighting!
This is the 1st truck I've ever seen with retractable hose beds 👍
All they bells and whistles on this one. Uffda, what a rig!
MONSTER BEAUTY pierce at its best as always
Another beast
Gorgeous truck for our friends down the road from the Alamo City.
Damn you can literally stand upright in this truck another winner
God I love Pierce! Such an amazing rig!! 😍
Keep up your great videos guys!
Glad to see a real siren.
Absolutely beautiful
Wow that is a sexy looking truck!!! Well set up! Good job guys!!!
At 6:30 you can see Traffic Advisors on the doors. That's a bit overkill not going to lie 😂
No way.
Never underestimate the ignorance/stupidity of civilians 🤦🏻♂️
@@Garythefireman66 but how often will those doors be open? Why didn't they just throw a T-ion on the doors. It does not seem like a great financial decision
@@Carterthielftw_ if it saves one life it's worth every penny
@@Carterthielftw_ this agency clearly has the money for it haha, I don’t think financial decisions are at the top of their mind
That thing is a freaking monster
Beautiful rig
I really like the idea of the arrow bar on the back of the truck doors
I love this fire foam pumper thanks for creating this one im in mesquite tx i wish we had this one❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Badass lookin truck. Love it
What a beauty!
This is an amazing rig! Holy shit!!
No kidding that is a beast
Awesome pumper!
Beautiful machine!!!!!
Thats a badass lookin truck
Sexy truck! Love the enclosed pump panel
Damn, that thing looks nice
Hopefully this never has to be fully used to its max capacity but I’d love to see this in action.
Love the color
8 inch intakes OMG. If you ever need to flow 5,500 GPM you are in deep.
It says chevron so I am sure it will be fighting petroleum fires
You couldn't use this truck in a municipal setting. They don't have the water capacity. At my facility we maintain 125psi at all of our headers. Municipal probably maintains 20 if your lucky. You would destroy your pump if you tried to run wide open
@@mclotfelter5664 its still a sexy paint scheme tho
@@popcorn8153 It says Pasadena plastics company.
@@jimmartin7881 yea and also chevron on the door, I saw both
should put window wipers on all the windows so you can still see when in operation. I am a industrial firefighter and we have a engine with a 6000gpm pump on it, trust me when chunking foam or water those windows are gonna be hard to see out of.
Absolutely love the interior pump panel 😍 some jealousy going on
Lotta refineries and chemical plants where that that truck is going, Houston area.
those hose beds though! no more climbing on top to lay hose
I suspect that you're going to see a certain amount of this kind of technology on regular fire trucks very soon. Especially the closed pump panels
Bad ass truck!!!!!
Sweet!!
Fascinating
Now add a ladder truck and a Heavy Rescue Truck and it will be very lovely simply lovely.
ua-cam.com/video/n0rWQWtvHwM/v-deo.html their Tower they are receiving also
2 of these would be good for Newburgh's waterfront
This is the blue floor. This is where the customer can do a pre delivery inspection.
This is pretty neat and a very different design but i personally wouldnt put a pump panel inside the truck
bro that cab tho
When I saw the title I was like "wait our FD just got one of those?"
And does it not have its own pond for this machine so that some hydrant or tank truck does not go? , you always have to have
Does the ship carry a tank of water and foam? And if so, how much?
Would that small compartment in the rear at the bottom be the ladder compartment?
I don't believe there is any ladder compartment as there is no need for ladders on this rig. Industrial sites don't typically do ladder operations that their tower or ladder cant handle.
@@Matt_TX Thanks!
Great truck
Plymouth mass Fire could use at least 2 new trucks one to replace a bucket tower truck
Chevon phillis chemical it’s says on the door? What plant is that going to?
Pasadena Plastics. Formerly PRSI
@@Matt_TX thanks
She's beautiful
Beautiful truck but alot of technology. I'm old school and like manual control of valve's.
Yup, a lot less to break.
You would be surprised. In 10 years only had to manual override 1 time. Those controls make it so that you get good discharge pressure at the nozzle on each of the lines that you are using. That deck gun open 100% will rob flow from let's say your blitz or crossfire and that puts your guys in danger. You can fine tune from the panel to make sure they get what they need with out being told
I engineered an ALF 900 series, there’s something about having hands-on manual control of the pump panel. But those automatic panels are something else!
Fine. I'll take any tech I can on a rig that will make the job easier.
@@jimmartin7881 If you don't have proper maintenance it doesn't matter worth a darn what breaks and what doesn't on your truck
Hello ¿has a ship overseas to argentina and other countries in all the world?
I bet station 51 had 1 of those
That bldg is still used by LAFD!
Beautiful truck, what's the price tag tho
Probably over a million dollars
Picture this: may 1950, Mayor of St Paul hands a check to president of Mack...150.000.00$ for 10 type 95,1000gpm engines,1 type 95 heavy squad,we got almost 30 yrs service ea.rig...engines now 600k and quints 1.000.000. we get 10+ yrs service now due to nosebleed 1st responders👀🤯
😍😍😍😍😍👏👏👏👏🚒
Hthat is one sexy truck
💟🇲🇾💟
Great now I want a fire truck at the age of 16
