- if the kicker dies often, there is a simple reason for it.
lets have a TALK about it ;))
so it means: if you have to exchange the kickstarter often, there is a need of opening the engine, sry...
it might be caused by a retro kickstarter where the screw is too hard (is ankeles usually a bit) so that it hurts/damages the edge of the screw seat on the hardened shaft

If only vespa used a bolt that didn't have thread where it sits in the groove, this would be avoided wouldn't it?
Whats vespa, whats original, whats replica. I my opinion kickstarter with not soft enough screws (or if it was replaced at a certain time) cause the damage
cause standard screws do ankle a bit
Do you have a technique how to put on the big spring?
by hand. it works. try it
