Another ewaste find: This time it's a coffee machine!
Will it work? And if not, can we repair it??
Krups make some excellent quality coffee machines, but unfortunately this one has seen better days. Join us as we test it out, and then dismantle it to see if we can fix any issues.
Hopefully it will once again make quality espresso, cappuccino and latte.

Maybe this machine was never be cleaned. So before to do diagnosis, I will remove all the coffee inside and clean all the water circuit.
After, if the machine is still not working, I will search the issue.

@HumphreyMurray good to hear. Mine took hours to pull apart, it was really hard to figure out how it was supposed to be dismantled.
@@TheBasementChannel yeah those are super complicated! I suspect that's why it was in ewaste. Mine is just a copper boiler, pipes, a pump, and a mini controller board.
Putting a new CarPlay head unit in my car this week will be a bit more complicated though. Maybe I should film that one 🤣

I imagine the grinder on that is catastrophically bad, so it's good you can bypass it if you're a weird coffee person like me :)

I have the same model & its giving me SERVICE 2 error & the motor on it isnt working. any idea what i can do?
Sorry mate, I’m not an expert. Maybe try another motor?
Imagine all the stuff that could be repaired but ended up in a landfill instead. Cheap production in China is good for lazy people but bad for the environment. It's time for laws to prevent this enormous amount of waste.
