@LcWash Sorry to nitpick. The longest runways in the Caribbean are technically Jose Marti airport and Santiago de Cuba airport. Both are 4000m (13123 ft). BQN is 11702ft. Unfortunately the new runway to replace the existing 8/26 will only be 11,000 ft long. I grew up 20 mins from BQN and former people stationed there use to tell me wonderful stories!! Haven't been there in years but the civilian airport lounge was called the b52 lounge!!
Yup Puerto Rico is the best Latin American Country to visit for sure man I hope to go there again maybe for the Summer or Winter periods but we'll wait and see what happens next also FedEx ATR 72-600F I hope to see one Visit Barbados soon maybe in 2025 or Beyond!!!!

For Cargo and US Military traffic it is.
Much busier. I think last year they got close to a million passengers.

it was an air force base (ramey AFB ) built for the biggest air force plane , the b52, it has the longest runway in the Caribbean...
