It's been a good while since I uploaded a Glyphs video. I've been busy doing client work and also making Gather Serif - my new "modern, elegant serif". I hope this helps to get you started with your own serif fonts ✌
You don't need to create the right corner component. You can just flip the left component when you need it. In this way, you don't have to modify two serif components if you have to adjust their design.
You totally can! I'm surprised that technique works, I would have thought the winding direction would have been changed too but Glyphs seems to correct that. Thanks for sharing.
I get it and it’s much more straightforward than I’d expected. Here I go! Thanks, Adam!
Once you know how, it’s pretty simple.

Thank you.
I found a problem.
How to evaluate the corner direction. thx
You need a left and right version, just be sure that the direction on both components run way the same as your glyphs.
@@AdamGreasley Got it!! Thank you very much!!!!!
Very good work
Is there an alternative to Glyphs on Windows?
There are a few. I don’t use them so I’m not sure how good they are. Try fontlab or fontforge
