This has to be the easiest and quickest way to make an italic font in Glyphs app.
In this tutorial, I'll show you how to design an italic font quickly using the export features in Glyphs 3. The best thing about this method is that you don't have to design a separate italic version, it's all done using filters and the export features in Glyphs app.
