After listening to her talks only ,I realised that I was a real victim of many sexual abuses..I had this consent mentality for many years which was injected by the so called men..I’m still healing and I’m almost 60 years..I really appreciate and thankful to her openness.
@aksoman1018 you can only blame the victim... can u ask why those person(s) started the disgusting act, u won't 🙄 ... you know y, you would be one among when u get an opportunity...
Couldn't hold back my tears at many points in the interview. These two wonderful gem of ladies are doing great service to the society by coming out so boldly... Love and respect them a lot... ❤❤🙏🙏
Thank you to each one of you who offered kind words of support to me and my aunt. This video was difficult for both of us to shoot, but we wanted to reach out to others who have been in similar situations- children/men/women/LGBTQI individuals. We are overwhelmed by your response. This means there is a lot of work to do AND hope for change!
All support to both of you...keep the fire and faith.... Don't leave the monsters who live with the gentleman masks..that has to be torn and thrown away soon 👍👍
I can't understand this content.. I came here after thanuja s channel.. U r such a strong woman.. I ll pray for ur health.. Nd healing journey.. Don't worry mam we r with you..
Thanks for waking up so many innocent sleeping souls who going through these without any awareness, blaming themselves, hating themselves.. How society is beautifully constructed to blame victim and even victim themselves believe it till they get some maturity.. Its really much needed conversation and kudoos to you...
Only if you reveal his name, you can put a fullstop to these atrocities.. you are bold enough to explain what happened to you, you have family with you, you live in another country so why are you still scared to reveal the scoundrel's name? Prayers..
"Thank you so much Lakshmi ma'am and Dr. Sujata for coming up with this video. It truly helped me confront and understand the traumas I’ve experienced, especially the abuse I went through as a child. It takes immense courage and strength to openly talk about these painful topics, and I deeply appreciate both of you for doing that. Dr. Sujata, your explanation and the way you educate society is invaluable, and Lakshmi ma'am, you continue to inspire and inform with such grace. The work you both do is incredible, and believe me, you're helping so many in the younger generation heal from their pasts. I was moved to tears during this video as it brought up some of my old memories, but it's a reminder that we must support each other to make this world a kinder place. Thank you again for this impactful video. 🙏"
One of the most painful stories to listen too !! It also takes enormous courage to come over it and be successful in life, Also it all takes great empathy and compassion for future generation to share her story and the lessons that they can take .. Bless you !!
I am a psychologist.. I can relate to both Mrs. Lakshmi and Dr. Sujatha... I am very happy to see two matured women discussing something very sensitive in a more sensible way rather than accusing the pervert... All the emotions that would possibly go through an enslaved child. Huge respect to both of you women for bringing this up... ❤❤❤❤
Sujatha’s am your batchmate in college… always admired your beauty… but never knew there is so much trauma behind such a beautiful girl … couldn’t come out of this … every woman undergoes such harassment… heart bleeds … God bless you
I empathize with what she went through but unfortunately the court will not accept her allegations for the following reasons:- 1. She was 18 when the sex happened. She might say she was psychologically 12 but at 18 one is considered adult by Indian law. 2. She should have reported to police then which she did not do. 3. Sex or rape encounters went on for close to a year during which time she was going back and forth between her home and his home. If it was not consensual, then what is? She wasn’t caged. 4. Off and on she slept many nights at his house. 5.she would give him blowjob in the middle of night 6. She never shared what she went through with her parents 7. She didn’t display any sign that she was traumatized. 8. She was doing well in college 9. She even sent a wedding invitation card to the man. Who does that? What victim of rape would invite the rapist to her wedding? 10. It happened 33 years ago 11. Fact is she was young and ambitious. Nothing wrong with that . We all are. She was well off but he was a hundred times if not a thousand times richer than her. Plus he was both director and producer of films. Not an easy thing to be for most people. So she wanted to be a famous actress married to a filthy rich man. Of course he duped her but she was not a minor either. In her own words she said she couldn’t understand the threesome relationship with him not divorcing his wife despite promising her to do so but that is not a crime. She also took her boyfriend to his house without telling the whole story to him probably to use him as a bargaining chip hoping perhaps the man would say he would marry her if she dumped that boyfriend then and there itself but that did not happen. Instead the man went physical with her and that might have reinforced the dim idea that there is no hope of marriage with the man and finally married her boyfriend. Had the man married her, these allegations of rape and violence would not even have surfaced. What you say?
She's correct at the end. Because of how i was raised, i never say no to anyone. This made anyone to overload me with work. I should be respectful to elders and listening and following them blindly makes you a good person. I even did my marriage, though i didn't like the person just because my parents and brothers liked them. I thought if i didn't agree to it, it would stamp me as a bad one. So upbringing matters
omg so true right? i was forced a few times into arranged marriage, one of them was a pervert and is a doctor. i said no, i was made the bad person. my family said im not good. im glad i didnt take that step.
@@UCX1cs5tm whatsoever reasons may be, we girls must always have the right to choose or deny who we want to marry right? But unlucky me, I married someone who I didn't like
One of the finest interviews I have ever seen..dr.sujatha explained it very well on how our brain/body reacts and how the girls accuse themselves ..she should talk more about mental health
This is so deep. Much to say but i just want to say , at minimum, love the maturity in the way an aunt and niece is connecting on this topic. Just speaking as 2 adults with no judgement or preconceived notions. Sujatha, i can feel you a 100%. I have said a line of prayer and healing for you. You inspire me and give me hope. Thank you for coming out. Respect.
This is so sad and shocking. All the women in my family all my life were so fearful of men in general and I was always asked to be careful. All these years , as a grown up, I thought it was unnecessary to instill fear at such early age. Now, this brave lady has made it so clear that this is the reality in India and it was always that. Thank you for telling your story. Can’t image the pain and trauma that you have gone through all these years. The fact that you have taken the path of healing and have come back to share your story is simply a huge gift to womanhood .
She was my senior in school....such beautiful girl...she was our red team captain....had many fans in our school....i was searching for her few years back.... couldn't digest to see her like this...Hats off to her confidence and guts !!!
I was in tears.Thank u both for taking this courageous step to empower women and girls.Noone has escaped this male gaze and advances.Praying for you Dr.Sujata.sending lots of love to both of you.
Sujatha ....I thought I am a very strong woman ...but my body and soul was shivering for a long time after what I heard from you. Yes almost all of us have gone through some kind of mild molestation, but what ypu have gone through is terrible dear. You must be some 2 years older to me but ypu are my child also. May be you are healed...but I will always be in my prayers. Stay strong and ypur husband and children are very lucky to have ypu in their lives. Ypu are a gift to all of us ...and lakshmi thank you for this interview ...hugs to you both
This was so painful & cathartic. At three spots I paused and cried. Cried loudly at two of these spots. As a victim & survivor of abuse I related to a lot of this. More power to you Dr S & also Chithi Lakshmi.
@@raghukumar5101 thank you :) this whole movement has been hurtful but healing. Hope our authorities step up and decide to ensure affirmative justice for us all :)
@@raghukumar5101 so sorry that it seems men vs women but I'm an educator and I do teach my kids that though the numbers are stark, it's not just the men who are perpetrators and it's not just the women who are prey. Thanking God for the good ones on all sides
Really a touching story. Tough times don't last but, tough people do. In the beginning Dr. mentioned that she didn't feel comfortable with the man she met for the first time. And she felt sick or had an headache. This is when an innocent soul meets an evil soul. The spirit of discernment was within you and it enabled you to be guided in that manner by moving away from him. We all have spirit of discernment . We need to keep that as a guide. As an example: Have you ever felt weird or uncomfortable when you are at a place for the first time. You just feel this place is not for you and every atom or cell within your body is telling you to leave? This is the spirit of discernment. Its God given. You can lose if if you choose to ignore it.
This interview broke my heart. Dr Sujatha, you are a strong woman and a survivor. May God give you the strength to heal. What an abuser first does is grooms his/her prey/victim, then isolates them from others. She was intentionally isolated from her family. I hope this is an opener to all. ശ്രീമതി ലക്ഷ്മി, സഹോദരി പുത്രിയുടെ ഈ കൂടിക്കാഴ്ച്ച എൻ്റെ കണ്ണുകൾ നിറച്ചു. Left a lump in my throat. പറയാൻ വാക്കുകളില്ല...
We stand with you Sujatha. I hope Sivachandran and Lakshmi get exposed soon. It won't undo the trauma you faced, but they don't deserve to be on this planet under a positive limelight and the dignity they currently have.
Sivachandran sure to be behind bars.. God knows what that adopted daughter is undergoing. May be Aishwarya moved out sensing this man's behaviour disorder.
Shocking that such human live in this universe the 2 of them deserve the worst punishment for this crime. That female Lakshmi is a shame to female Clan what example she has set to the society and blissfully living with an animal and a monster at that shame on her
Sivachandran will not get punishment...also we have lot of 'decent ' 'fatherly figures ' Sivachandrans around....only we pretend to keep our eyes closed
None of this allegations complaints will hold against Sivachandran and Lakshmi. They are highly connected people both politically and socially in all of South India. Now we all know the real reason why Aishwarya and grandmother left her own mom’s house and stayed away from her life. Now we understand what Mohan Sharma the second husband said - Lakshmi only cares for her own happiness and pleasure nothing else in this world. So Lakshmi wants a husband and she was trying to hold on to that predator/flopped unemployed director by giving him whatever he wants. Made her own daughter escape from the house, and found another young girl to satisfy that sexual predator. So that is the story. Now we know why inspite of her being such a popular south indian actress why that monster did not have any work or nobody hired him as a director. It is unfortunate that this girl got stuck with them, which is again no fault of those predators I would say, but would blame Sowmya’s parents to let their daughter be abused by a predator.
This session is also one which emphasises the need for psychotherapy, talk therapy and counseling. Finally that is what brought clarity in her life. Thank you Dr. Sujatha. We are so proud of you. You are indeed an empowered survivor.
Tks Lakshmi mam for bringing this out. I am sorry your niece had to go thru all these kind of things. Strict law must be enforced to protect the vulnerable
I was looking out for this actress, but failed to find her. Finally she appeared, with this tragic truth. But happy to see her well settled and how strong women she has become now. Really appreciate she coming forward and with her horrific experience she wants to help out girls and parents, for not letting the same mistake with them. Thank you mam for sharing and sending a message out to save others.
My mother didn’t run away and marry. She was old enough to make her decision and fell in love with . And my father is an amazing man, otherwise she wouldn’t have allowed him & his family to raise me. It’s very easy to pin point fingers when the elders of the family do not provide a safe space for a child. My parents did that for me, hence I’m a BSc degree holder, 8years in the corporate world and married to a good man. Please think twice before typing comments like “creep” projecting another man’s image on a completely different man. Stick to the point. Sivachandan is not a good human being. Period. Took advantage of my entire family. Period. Hurt my mother and probably my grandmother. Period .
അമ്പലപ്പുഴെ ഉണ്ണി കണ്ണനോടു നീ… Hereafter this song will remind me the whole interview and what I saw is a beautiful piece of gem, don’t know what to say. The world needs more people like you
I felt excruciating pain in my heart while listening to this.. And what disturbs me the most is even now when somebody pulls up the courage to voice the injustice, the hurt, people find it okay to question them, interrogate and judge. I am alarmed at how even people who themselves were victims at some point, can do this to others
By far this is one of the hardest interview to watch, especially when its your chithi that you have share the most gut wrenching experience of your life and as a chithi its a tough spot to comprehend the whole thing. It speaks volume about our male dominant society and the way we were raised as girl children in the most conservative family that cripples us in situations where we should be standing up for ourselves. Hats off to both of you for this honest and raw interview that showcases the dark underbelly of the so called glam movie field.
I watched all her movies in childhood , My eyes are filled with tears and I'm happy that she came back emotionally strong, I totally agree with u. The culprit has to be punished, not taking his age in to consideration.
Lakshmi mam thank you for helping women come out of their trauma.Thank you mam..Dr Soumya mam is a survivor now..but back then evlo kashta patturpanga..i cried a lot..be strong
My heartfelt gratitude to both of you for speaking about this openly! It's so courageous of you both. Im grateful because it's has truly been a lesson on the importance of creating an unconditional safe space for all our loved ones and especially for our children. 🙏 And I'm truly sorry for all the pain that has happened in your life. I wish for you future love and only love. ❤🙏
This video should be seen by every girl and boy .. it’ will be a great lesson and info warning for them.. . Though very disturbing and distressing, it’s amazing that you both decided to come out of the cocoon and share this terrible experience. 😞🙏. Bravo ❤
This is so heart wrenching! Sexual abuse happens in almost every household in India even to this day. Mothers need to teach their sons to respect women, that is priority; more than mothers teaching their daughters to cook, clean, and take care of the home. Of course Indian women today are a better lot in terms of education but when it comes to dealing with men, there's still a long long way to go.
I have been sexually abused by one of my relatives when I was a very small kid for years. I am 51 today and when I look back I can see how that has affected me throughout in my life. Thank you for speaking out. It is time to expose these kind of people.
Lakshmi, watching you validate and explain your niece’s experience in your own words healed something in me. To be seen by an older motherly figure in your own family….. thank you for giving Dr. Sowmya a platform. I deeply identify with the way Sowmya phrases her thoughts in english, especially relating to trauma. Hearing you rephrase it in tamil&malayalam for a larger audience was so unexplainably healing because we don’t discuss such stuff in our language. We are told discussing trauma on any level is a “western” concept. Sincerest gratitude to both of you.
One of the most genuine interviews I've listened to in the recent past. Just by having the right intention and being bruttally honest has transformed this session into the most heart touching one. I sincerely hope i get to meet both of you personally at some point in my life. Great courage exhibited by the both of you!! 🙏🙏🙏
Hugs to you sujatha , an eye opener intetview for people who are struggling with similar issues , this will teach them to deal , heal and move on in life . These kind of sexual offenders need to be punished . Well done interview by lakshmi ramakrishnan
Grateful to see at least a few people raising truthful voices. Along with the revelations, there is an in-depth and expert analysis. Must watch for all parents 👌👌 Thanks for shedding so much light on this situation. Kudos to this brave, courageous lady who got through all this horror and came out armed with knowledge for the benefit of many many others. Precious interview. So much for us to introspect us a society. Still people want to keep their daughters and wives silent about abuse. We as people need to wake up and stand with justice and each individual's empowerment
Dr.Sujatha you have bloomed beautifully from ashes like a Phoenix. We all have been through this at some point in our lives but never have been outspoken because of the impression the society will have on us. Kudos to you and Lakshmi mam.
More power and love to Lakshmi maam & Dr Sujatha for coming out and sharing your story. Please stop asking why appove sollala and so on. It takes years to even comprehend, analyse and process such abuse. Some women are brave enough to say it out immediately, some women need to process it internally first, so keep your opinion to yourself ✋
Ma'am, age should not be deterrent in naming the culprit. That man requires to be shamed. Proud of Dr.Sujata, you are really bold in explaining in detail the true nature of sexual exploitation
Dr. Sujata, kudos to u for unfolding the trauma u underwent and it pained me a lot. Tears swelled up in my eyes at many places while listening to ur story. Many know who the culprit is. Why do u shun away from publicizing him?? He might be in his 70's but he should be punished or atleast shamed. This can be an eye opener for any other perpetrator. Please dont hesitate to book the culprit and his wife too
Both of you are amazingly strong to share your personal experience. Every woman would have experienced something which haunts them throughout their lives. For something that another person had done to them, they feel ashamed all their life, bcoz of the conditioning the society has made on them. Let's hope that these women opening up about themselves helps at least one person to heal from within.
Hats off to you to bring this out so explicitly. I can relate to what you have gone through since I myself have been a victim of such situations. What you expressed is absolutely true. It's not only in the cinema world but also in established corporates that women are exploited and especially for single women and a divorcee like me to keep our dignity and stand firm against these treacherous men is a Herculean task.
I’m speechless!! I don’t know how you survived! It is terrifying and who knows how many girls are trapped in such suffering. And by supposedly high profile people! I don’t know what to hope for now! I hope everyone keeps themselves and the children and families safe! Please always listen to your instincts about someone.. predators are everywhere! It doesn’t matter even if people think you are cynical but , always keep your guard up!
Unimaginable pain undergone by Dr.Sujata .I am still unable to come to terms how the young innocent girl , Dr.Sujata then , felt, managed herself.Oh, God your certain ways are cruel to some ,then why ? Lots of love , sympathies and best wishes to Dr.Sujata for fast healing from the trauma and the services you are doing is going to be blessed by the same God .Best wishes.🙏
I can’t imagine the pain and helplessness she went through at such a young age. But I feel proud that she had the courage and determination to overcome all that and deal with the trauma . The upbringing of Indian society especially towards female is damn toxic. We are expected to be quiet about everything and saying no is considered a sin . We are conditioned in a way to respect and fear elders even if they treat us like garbage . This leads to freezing of mind and unable to respond to any situation. The least I can do is not to encourage these type of conditioning to my younger generations.
Lakshmi yesteryear actress held in high esteem, is down in thr dumps now. She is a regular in Tamil channels. She is invited by some laughter club in Chennai. Her daughter aishwarya maligned, poor girl traumatised she must have been as a teenager, raped by her stepfather.
I feel so pity of you Dr. Sujatha. Atleast now you have opened up about your personal abuse and pain. You are really great now. Your speech will open up so many innocent girls eyes and they will be alert in present and future. Hats off to you Ms. Lakshmi Ramakrishna for your courage to bring this your personal matter to public to create awareness. 🎉 Don't worry ladies All men are not like same. We will stand with you. Please go ahead... Stay positive. God is there with you.
So so shocked to hear this absolutely horrific abuse and how the once confident intelligent person was reduced to a a low self esteemed guilty self. Kudos to Dr. Sujata for bravely putting out her traumatic story which will help many many young girls to stay away from the clutches of such monster predators.. More power to you girl👍👍
Heart breaking interview. Hats off to you both Lakshmi Ramakrishnan mam and Dr.Sujatha mam for created a new syllabus to all children and their parents to safeguard themselves from the wild animals.
The pain is still there in her eyes...Dr. you are great and your upbringing has been an issue...At the same time, Parents are only the selfless persons in one's Life...Its always to be understood from the knowing age....All girl child and Teenagers should understand this...The filth wherever it is ,needs to be out..thanks to the Social media.. 🙏🙏
@@podangadubukus What is going on in Calcutta case ?Is police REALLY helping? Some more the case in Karnataka few years back where a lady killed and burned by few predators.Police claimed to have shot those criminals to dead. However are they the real culprits?
What justice you are talking about? Where is the proof it all happened? What this Sowmya’s parents are idiots to send their daughter to a predator? This girl was 18, in college when this all happened. How can somebody molest, rape and have you as a sex slave for so long when you have parents and friends. Just wanted to say how stupid and idiotic that this young girl let it all happen for a year. I understand somebody making a pass, forcefully kiss and asking for sexual favors. It happens and will always happen, but being a sex slave?? Seems very extreme. Unless this girl was also drugged, made addicted to something and brainwashed to believe something else. That Aishwarya was a drug addict may be that Sivachandran introduced her to that…
Thank you Lakshmi and Sujata. The naivete that we create for children and adults through our cinema, patriarchy and silence we maintain on gender, sexual and economic violence is also a big reason why and how people either young or older, get trapped and exploited by monsters in any of these or other asocial behaviour. Things are seemingly improving, but that again is a veneer; we have so much more to become social animals beyond what we think we are. Sujata, there's some batchmates of yours from college who are happy you've come out of that really unfortunate state, and wonderful how thats leading you ro help both prevent such for others, and also those who need help to get out of such situations. Keep the faith going and keep looking ahead with your head held high.
Manish, I am grateful for these words❤️ As you probably have realized, my purpose is to create more self-compassion and awareness so we can truly change how we raise our children.
My heart goes out to Dr. Sujatha... What trauma for the young girl... Girls should be taught about good touch and bad touch.. We should stand by the women. Laws must be strict also. All the best Dr. Sujatha
The sad part is the poor girl is scarred for life. She gathered all her courage and spoke about her extremely traumatic and horrible experience. What should have been her golden years turned so horrible that she went far away. She came and had the courage to disclose it all. We have all guessed who the horrible apology of a man is! But what are the repercussions to the horrible man and his wife? Nothing. How tragic!
Thank you for sharing this heart breaking episode of your life. By sharing it you have transformed your identity from a victim to a brave fighter. Lots of love.

Can’t watch this without tears if you have a heart! Women shouldn’t have to protect themselves. Men need to have fear for manipulation and victimisation! Govt needs to take a stand! Judiciary needs to do faster convictions instead of again making women feel they made a mistake by reporting it!
This is so sad and heart wrenching to hear.....I think she is talking about Jodi Sendhachu a 1992 Tamil movie which was her debut movie. Her screen name was known as Sowmya. The movie can be found on UA-cam. The director of the movie was actress Lakshmi and her 3rd husband Sivachandran (Married in 1987), who was a lead actor in that movie. The lady here Dr. Sujatha in her early years, did resemble actress Lakshmi's daughter, actress Aishwarya Baskaran. Actress Aishwarya Baskaran's first debut Tamil movie was called Nyayangal Jayikkattum in 1990, directed by Sivachandran and her mother actress Lakshmi played a lead role in the movie and she played her daughter. They fell out soon after the movie. As per Dr. Sujatha, when she met the couple in early 90's they already fell out with the daughter by then and Dr. Sujatha's movie with them was released in 1992. So, everything seems to fit into place here including the scenes in the movie Jodi Senthachu. So much to learn from her story.....
@@umaktharumarajan6582 yes looks like it some other comment here said this abusers wife won the national award. The only Tamil actress who won national award back then was lakshmi suhasini and Shobhana . The latter 2 doesnot have multiple husbands and were young themselves so can be striked out
@@VanilAJ7813Thank you for highlighting this. Another striking information Dr. Sujatha gave was about the couple’s daughter. The media back then mentioned how similar both Aishwarya Baskaran and Dr. Sujatha looked like. Even the couple had mentioned that their daughter (the man’s step daughter) looks like her. Even I agree with that statement after watching the movie and the famous Ambalapuzha song. I almost thought it was the actress Aishwarya. They looked so much alike in their younger days. Also, the timelines match too. Dr.Sujatha mentioned that the couple’s daughter was already an actress and acted in a few movies already, when she met them, which is true for Aishwarya. Cause by the time she acted in her Tamil debut film directed by her step dad Sivachandran and acted along with her mother Lakshmi, she had done 4 films in Malayalam , Telugu and Kannada. Also Sivachandran is in his 70’s now. I can only imagine after so many years, finally Aishwarya Baskaran would feel vindicated now to hear this story since very few believed her then, including her own mother. Whatever transpired in her life then must have been due to this trauma and the lack of support system. Justice does takes its own time and course. I also can't help to think that Dr. Sujatha could have been preyed by Sivachandran in the pretense of casting her just because she looks like Aishwarya Baskaran. Whetever he couldn't achieve with Aishwarya, he took it out and perhaps even sought his revenge for Aiswarya through Dr. Sujatha since she looks like her... It's so twisted the more you think about it.
It's also uncanny how the only movie Dr. Sujatha (Jodi Sendhachu) and Aishwarya Baskaran (Nyayangal Jayikkattum) acted and directed by actress Lakshmi and her husband Sivachandran had weird titles.... It's as if the Universe was delivering a message back then to the masses about whats happening and whats to come. I hope that justice prevails in both cases and the ones we have not heard about just like the movie title Nyayangal Jayikkattum.
They have to be exposed why is this news not getting prominence ?? A sexual predator never stops and this is extreme trauma he inflicted on her like na animal ..I cannot believe an established actress like Lakshmi didn’t realize what was going on in her own house she is an accomplice or let she prove otherwise i
@@VanilAJ7813 I think this will catch people's attention since it's out now. The culprits have to face the music at some point of time and nothing is more painful than to watch whatever you earned or established get destroyed at your late end of life when you are too weak or too late to defend it. My guess is, either she knew or was in denial, OR she was an accomplice to keep the husband around.... especially her own daughter had accused the man of such a crime..
Thank you Dr Sujata ji , it takes so much courage to share your story this way ….. it shows the compassion you have for people who are made to feel powerless and victimised ….. can’t thank you enough for explaining the science behind the mental enslavement that happens ….. my heart tore when you said that you thought that you were immoral when in fact you were the victim……. Sending lots of healing and prayers to you ……. God bless you Tons of thanks Tears flowing in my eyes
As a culture, we Indians have a level of craziness about movies, film stars etc., which is so unhealthy.. we are spending too much time in movies and think that life is going to mimic the romance in the movies.. that needs to change
Wonderful interview! No place is safe for women. Girls at that young age must have immense family support so they dont fear speaking up- boys from a young age must be raised to respect women-must be told that when they are out they must ensure girls are safe. Society must shame the perpetrators openly and not the survivors. Why should girls or their parents feel guilty and hide? This gives perpetrators the courage to repeat the crime. High time the courts punish these so called ‘Big People’ be it directors , actors, ppoliticians or from any field. None of these go to jail for crimes because the loopholes in our slow judicial system protects them.
She doesn't need to tell names as Google tells us everything nowadays! Search for her Tamil movie, director, and producers and check her Malayalam movies, directors, actors, cinematographers, etc!
Her 3rd malayalam movie "Poochakkaru mani kettum", hero Mukesh is now being accused by other junior actresses, his ex-wife, famous actress Sarita went along with him to shooting sets. Her 1st malayalam movie Neelakurukkan..villain Bheeman Raghu spat on her face 2nd movie Adwaitham..director Priyadarshan..didnt edit off shoulder scene
Simply teaching about 'bad touch' and 'good touch' is not enough; it is essential for every girl and woman to watch this video. Most importantly every 'mother' must watch this video. Women & Child Department should incorporate this video as a key teaching resource. I have never come across such an educational video before.
@@LogeshwaranM Exactly, No touch. In fact I have four grandsons, people ask me whether I am not disappointed that not having a granddaughter . In fact I could have peace of mind, don't have to worry.
No use shedding tears. We should link this with the anti rape movement in Bengal and turn this into a national movement. No tolerance for sexual harrasment.
This video is an eye-opener on the manipulative ways of men. Kudos to Dr.Sujata for coming clean. We all must understand that she has so much at stake by exposing this now. We still live in a society that has double standards. Men are glorified , women idolised only if they are submissive. Women have to fight tooth and nail for evey bit of justice they deserve. Let us all join hands to lend our support to our sisters like Dr. Sujata. I only hope that this does not end with just interviews and mouth-talk alone. The perpertrators must be brought to court and publicly indicted and punished by law.
Just can't even think about the mental and physical trauma she has went through.... One of the prettiest faces I have seen in movies and even though she had acted only in a few films, even Almighty wanted her to be remembered for ever and thus one of the most beautiful songs in malayalam had her as the lead...............May Almighty bless you in abundance.....!

RADHIKA is nothing but a hypocrite 🙄. Just wants to use this movement for her gain rather than standing up for victims like Chinmayi. So many hypocrites coming out like Kushboo too.
Actress padmapriya slapped by one tamil director. Women are haunted by men in all industries not just in malayalam. Women's should come out and talk against all these culprits..
This is so heart wrenching to know that such a privileged girl like Dr.Sujatha had gone through all these turmoils and it took 20 years for her to heal and 30 years to speak about it in public. Just imagine the plight of all the poor and innocent girls out there, so disturbing. Anyway this exchange is extremely informative about the human psyche and body. I hope, at least a few people would understand that why it takes so long for someone to speak up/disclose/complain after being raped or enslaved. There are so many people out there who blames the victim for not being able to speak up or not being able to name the culprits. Thank you so much Lakshmi for bringing this up ❤ and Kudos to Dr.Sujatha for being so bold and Clear
After listening to her talks only ,I realised that I was a real victim of many sexual abuses..I had this consent mentality for many years which was injected by the so called men..I’m still healing and I’m almost 60 years..I really appreciate and thankful to her openness.
When victims talk, that become guidelines to the upcoming generation, that is the least thing what you can do for future daughters.

It takes immense courage and strength to openly talk about these painful topics, and I deeply appreciate both of you for doing that. Dr. Sujata, your explanation and the way you educate society is invaluable, and Lakshmi ma'am, you continue to inspire and inform with such grace. ❤❤❤❤
Sujatha’s am your batchmate in college… always admired your beauty… but never knew there is so much trauma behind such a beautiful girl … couldn’t come out of this … every woman undergoes such harassment… heart bleeds … God bless you
I empathize with what she went through but unfortunately the court will not accept her allegations for the following reasons:-
5.she would give him blowjob in the middle of night
6. She never shared what she went through with her parents
7. She didn’t display any sign that she was traumatized.
8. She was doing well in college
9. She even sent a wedding invitation card to the man. Who does that? What victim of rape would invite the rapist to her wedding?
10. It happened 33 years ago
11.

This is so sad and shocking. All the women in my family all my life were so fearful of men in general and I was always asked to be careful. All these years , as a grown up, I thought it was unnecessary to instill fear at such early age.
Now, this brave lady has made it so clear that this is the reality in India and it was always that.

Sivachandran sure to be behind bars..
God knows what that adopted daughter is undergoing.

Shocking that such human live in this universe the 2 of them deserve the worst punishment for this crime. That female Lakshmi is a shame to female Clan what example she has set to the society and blissfully living with an animal and a monster at that shame on her
True

My mother didn’t run away and marry. She was old enough to make her decision and fell in love with . And my father is an amazing man, otherwise she wouldn’t have allowed him & his family to raise me. My parents did that for me, hence I’m a BSc degree holder, 8years in the corporate world and married to a good man.

Dear Dr. Sujatha , really I don't have d guts 2 hear u , hence hace muted d conversation & writing this comment. From d intro itself I'm afraid dat something shocking had happened 2 u.. I even now recollect ur appearance years back.. U were so innocent looking girl & as sweet as a rose. It was a wise decision to quit d cinema world, even though wud have struggled a lot to cum out of dat trauma.. Dear , its not easy 2 forget all those fearful days, unless v get an Alzheimer's disease.. Hope u r happy with ur present life... Never ever cum back 2 dis country.. Live there peacefully.. May d God Almighty give u enough mental strength to live a happy life.. ❤️❤️
Dr. S is a remarkably strong and poised woman, my sincere admiration for her courage and forthrightness.
Can’t watch this without tears if you have a heart! Women shouldn’t have to protect themselves. Men need to have fear for manipulation and victimisation! Govt needs to take a stand! Judiciary needs to do faster convictions instead of again making women feel they made a mistake by reporting it!
I agree with you
Movie name is " JODI SERNTHACHU 1992" sivachandran is the culprit
A very eye opening conversation which can help many people to think intelligently
No words...only tears
Thank you Dr Sujata ji , it takes so much courage to share your story this way ….. it shows the compassion you have for people who are made to feel powerless and victimised ….. can’t thank you enough for explaining the science behind the mental enslavement that happens ….. my heart tore when you said that you thought that you were immoral when in fact you were the victim……. Sending lots of healing and prayers to you ……. God bless you
Tons of thanks
Tears flowing in my eyes
As a culture, we Indians have a level of craziness about movies, film stars etc., which is so unhealthy.. we are spending too much time in movies and think that life is going to mimic the romance in the movies.. that needs to change
I agree! It’s not just the romance; movies also reinforce patriarchy and when they catch children young, this is highly damaging.
I understand soumya doesn’t want to release the predator’s name, but then a side of me wants to get his name revealed. People need to know this
Her first movie's director is the culprit.
Jodi serndachu director sivachandran, husband of lakshmi
She doesn't need to tell names as Google tells us everything nowadays! Search for her Tamil movie, director, and producers and check her Malayalam movies, directors, actors, cinematographers, etc!
@roseed8816 in 51 movies...imagine the number of women who would have faced this hell?
Her 3rd malayalam movie "Poochakkaru mani kettum", hero Mukesh is now being accused by other junior actresses, his ex-wife, famous actress Sarita went along with him to shooting sets.
Her 1st malayalam movie Neelakurukkan..villain Bheeman Raghu spat on her face
2nd movie Adwaitham..director Priyadarshan..didnt edit off shoulder scene
Simply teaching about 'bad touch' and 'good touch' is not enough; it is essential for every girl and woman to watch this video. Most importantly every 'mother' must watch this video. Women & Child Department should incorporate this video as a key teaching resource. I have never come across such an educational video before.
It should be actually “Do not touch”
@@LogeshwaranM Exactly, No touch. In fact I have four grandsons, people ask me whether I am not disappointed that not having a granddaughter . In fact I could have peace of mind, don't have to worry.
@@usharetnaganthan302 You should be aware of that even male children also being abused, please watch out them always.
@@LogeshwaranM Thanks 🙏, definitely I will.
One of the prettiest faces I have seen in movies and even though she had acted only in a few films, even Almighty wanted her to be remembered for ever and thus one of the most beautiful songs in malayalam had her as the lead...............May Almighty bless you in abundance.....!
i like it when TAMILIANS comment on OTHER industries.............why was radhika silent on
1. CHINMAYI VAIRAMUTHU ISSUE
2. her brother RADHARAVI atresses like nayanthara
3. a top heroine who was hounded out of industry by sharat Kumar, who later became her husband
Seems fair to me
Who's top heroine
Many happy to talk about neighbors's dirty things than dirt's in own house.
Great that dr.soumya you came up with the talk. Its an important topic that every girl/ woman should think and learn from you
