This guy is really helpful my math teacher doesn't stand a chance😎
Same it sucks because i need to carve out like 2 hours of my own free time to actually have a fighting chance in my math class
Yeah it's totally true
The test is tomorrow; thanks for the great help man

a 5 minute video enough to teach me a week's worth of torture, thanks
I watch 20 seconds and understood it better than my maths teacher explained in 40 minutes. Thank you 👍
😂😂 👍
2 weeks of math classes explained in 5 minutes, thx man
Edit: Thx for the likes :)
where do you have all these likes from? arent you a bit fake overall? lool.
@@powerofroses1670 ????
Power_of_self101 lol hater
i barely get any likes though.
fuck you!!
I'm 35yrs old, and am taking an Accuplacer test tomorrow. As you can imagine, I've not used math like this in a while. I've been struggling with linear equations that use fractions over the last few weeks, and this is easily the simplest explanation I have ever seen...thank you! You are incredible.
Did you pass?
@@zych0894 long time ago now but, yes I did very well
How did u do?
👀
as a 25 year old who hasn't finished college yet solely because my tragic math skills hold me back...this is very helpful, thank you

you literally saved my butt from a f in math the semester test is tomorrow
lol sameee
same except its a unit
Same but a test tomorrow. Midterm and Finals is coming for me though 😬.
Mines rn 🤣

This video was a big help! 😃 The first equation didn’t really apply to what I was doing but the second equation did and once I understood the second equation, I understood how the first equation fit in with the second one. 😌 It was so nice.
0:00 Solve an Equation that has fraction
2:37 Equation that contains two fractions
4:04 Example x divided by 2+5 is Equal to over 4 what is the value of x
I’ve been looking for hours thank you so much god bless
Oh yeah yeah

I love how this guy explain this better than my honors math teacher which has over 10+ years of experience.
I want to say a big thank you to this channel and the person(s) behind it. Last year I failed a big math exam and this year through this channel I was able to get an A!!!! Thank you!! From Jamaica 🇯🇲
I have a end of years test for Honors and I needed this. You are a SAVIOR.
Writing a program that requires simple algebra which I haven't used for quite some time. This video hit the spot. Thanks!
This helped with my homework! Thank you!
The multiplying by the reciprocal method blew my mind. SO simple.
MR. Organic Chemistry Tutor, thank you once again for another incredible video/lecture on How to Solve Linear Equations with Fractions. These are the small building blocks for all students in Algebra/Algebra One.
Thank you so much I was stuck on a question for a while a t this helped a lot.
This was a really great brain refresher thank you! 😇
Omg you're a life saver!
This was really helpful. Thank you Sir!!!
Very helpful and easly explained. Thanks mate
thank you this really helped me. Now i can finally have a good grade in math
thanks again!
In the last example, why didn't we complete the division? Why is the answer X=-19/2, not X=-9.5?
It’s better to leave it as a fraction than a decimal
wow u helped me a lot thanku for showing this vid
A 5 minute youtube video showed me more than 3 months of school did, my teachers just refused to explain how to do these equasions, thanks man
Bro you’re the best I’m loving math I’m studying for the asvab I’m enlisting in the Marines
How's it going?
My Math teacher didn't even teach us this and expected us to know it. Thanks For explaning it so well!
this is great. thank you
I love and like this channel cause it makes clear everything else
I love this guy. Actual math teachers need to go back to school.
Thanks man. Realy helped
Wow, this guy is a great teacher!
Thank you so much 🙏🙏
Do you any recommendations on were a I can more exercises like for pratice?
You are helping me get my GED to find my career and change my life thank you !
Who else is here because they just wanna get good at math, not for any tests or exams.
I have got two fractions, one on each side of = with different denominators (9 & 11) what should I do
Thank you! This video was very helpful
thank you so much, this video was really helpful (I have a test tomorrow)
Is it mandatory to convert improper fraction answer in linear equations to mixed number or it's entirely up to the instructions to simplify it or not?
This was really helpful🌟
Thank you! These UA-cam videos are a tender Mercy
this really helped, thank you !
bro anyone else watching before staar test?😭 this man taught me in 10 minutes yet it took my teacher a whole semester and i can’t even remember lol
Thank you very much. This really helped me
Thanks man this really will help me out on my test coming up thank you
Thanks for all the help. Can someone share a vid or care to solve something like: 1/3x + 6x = 32. Much appreciated!
:0
I still don't understand, but it's better than school.
same, I always feel so dumb for not understanding these videos but I feel like if I were taught it this way in school is be much easier idk
Can I use clearing fractions method with every fraction?
Last problem I used 8 like you initially were going to use as a LCD and got -38/4 but when simplified into a mixed fraction I get 9 1/2 which is the same result if you were to simply -19/2.......So both are right?
I got stuck on an example in class but this helped me out though, thanks. I'll be back for something else I didn't grasp well from class.
Thanks for helping me throughout the years man
Bruh i learn so much more from this guy than my teacher. Thanks.
omg thx soo much, you tought me better and faster then my teacher on online class.
I wish u were my math teacher. Ur videos are awesome. Thank you!
Im writing a test tomorrow ..this helped :) i now have a better understanding
You my friend have saved me from disappointment of my parents

Thank You For This Vid You Are The Best You Teach Well In 5 Mins Than 2 Weeks Math At School TYSM! :)
A question. In the 2nd example of 5/8x + 4 = 14. What if I divided both sides by 8/5 before removing the 4. I get the incorrect answer. Can you please explain why that is and what was done wrong mathematically that I should not solve the operation in that order?
I'm stuck with summer work for algebra 2 and I forgotten about this stuff
thanks mate, i was having a lot of trouble with that topic
THANK YOU!!
All the material provided by my school made this way more complicated than it really had to be. Thank you for your immense help good sir. This all makes great sense now
He should be the world's mathematics teacher, he literally helped me understand this better than my mathematics teacher who took 1 month to just teach this. This dude out here is just taking five minutes of time to teach a month's work. Thank you so much! Appreciate the help and thanks for helping me out before my exams!
I started high school in 1990. My maths teacher was really bad plus there was 30 of us in the classroom. No resources like the library or the internet in those days in rural South Africa. Needless to say, my interest in maths waned and I focused on subjects I could study and understand by myself.
I wish you were around in our times, teaching us mathemetics my friend. You are too good.
Thanks for the help man!
Your the best teacher so far
My math teacher has this weird sleepy voice he uses when he teaches us the lessons so yes, you're a life-saver.
23 seconds of this video taught me more than an hour of math class
5:33 how would it go if you used 8 I might get confused by using 4 or can we just pick the highest denominator if they are common and why not use two since it’s actually lower
i love u for majijg this i forgot everything over the summer
Thanks for this!
thx man your easily the best math teacher
Dude ily i couldnt find a easy explanwtion and searched on yt thank you bro
Thanks its really help me u are the best
In second 0:20 how did u bring the 3? and in second 0:45 why did u switch the fraction and why not u switched it with number 8? and in minute 1:51 why did u turn the positive sign into a negative sign?
Test is tmrw morning at 8:20 and I am sitting here at 11:30 having no idea how to do it,but it’s actually helped a lot with update the results later
NVM I FAILED IT 💀💀💀
HELP LMAO
You just saved my life thanks 😊 🙏
I am in my first semester back to college since 8 years ago. This video greatly helped refresh my memory. Thanks!
thank you, understood the method
Very helpful thank you💓
I recommend putting a line straight through the equal sign. it'll help you a bit better and keeping everything in order.
What I fail to understand is at the very beginning. Can you explain to me how multiplying (3) by 2/3, ends up canceling the 3?
Because ⅔ is still a division problem, and multiplying by the denominator cancels them out.
Thanks this helped so much
Make more videos this helps a lot😊❤
bruh im stuck on sum shit online school and your vids really help lmao
Q: Why is it different in subtracting?
2x+20=1 can be
x+20-20 = 1-20
"x=-1/20" instead of "x=-19/2"
and
5+30+=6
can be
"x=-24/5" instead of "x=1/30"
@The Organic Chemistry Tutor
On 1:52, When will you need to subtract a number, like 4?
That's when you want to get rid of a number to get the unknown quantity by itself, in this case you want 5÷8x by itself so you cancel out the number by the inverse. Use the inverse on both sides to balance the equation. Hence 4 cancel out and 14 gets reduced by -4.
Thanks! You make it so much easier.
What if there are 3 fractions in the sum ( 2x-3/5 1/4 x-1/4 )
You are literally so good at math. #goals
Broooooo thank you I had no clue what to do but you saved me thank you!!!!
My teacher made a 20 minute video for this and this guy done it in 55 seconds
you give a great help to me
Thanks dude I subscribe and respect you
