Visa is not the permit which students from outside EU/EEA should be interested about. The relevant permit is the first residence permit for studies. It's not a visa. There are processing fees for permit applications.

I think it could be useful to add this perspective: Even though vocational studies in Finland can be studied also later in life, mostly people starting are young ones directly from basic education. They are not adults. They haven't started their own families and mostly still live with their parents. International students on average tend to be order, more mature. Some of them have started their own families. Starting families without at least secondarily level education isn't without complications in Finland. If both have income, then it can work out reasonably well. But without professional qualifications income will be low and living financially difficult. There's also the possibility of a language trap. If you live in a foreign language family, it will most likely delay you learning Finnish and settling in Finland. This in turn will hurt your employment opportunities etc.

Often people just end up in some situations and aren't really free to make choices. If you're an adult with a family without professional qualifications, then you can't change that and become young single in order to relocate to a different country to study a profession at a vocational study program with less challenges. But if you're young and single, then it's good to notice that this could be a better situation to apply and move than waiting until you are older, have committed yourself into a relationship and have family.

Well, I sincerely don't agree with your comment about "Having 2 mouth". If you had watch my previous video about Reasons you should not move to Finland with an open mind or watched the video till the end, you would have heard where I stated Categorically, that the aim of the video is not to discourage you in any way, shape or form but rather, to give you heads up on the realities on ground here in Finland. Obviously, the immigration laws are changing and the first stage of the change will come into effect from the 1st of October 2024. So if you consider that the new laws and changes will be a sort of hindrance or a barrier for moving to Finland, then you simply reweigh your options and look else where other than Finland. There will be increase in tuition Fees, Application fees and work permit requirements. These are realities on ground. Finland is and will always remain a Great country and I would always advise a close friend or family to Move here through the right ways and be ready to learn the Finland language and culture and on the long run, everything will be fine.

If you had watch my previous video about Reasons you should not move to Finland with an open mind or watched the video till the end, you would have heard where I stated Categorically, that the aim of the video is not to discourage you in any way, shape or form but rather, to give you heads up on the realities on ground here in Finland.
Obviously, the immigration laws are changing and the first stage of the change will come into effect from the 1st of October 2024. So if you consider that the new laws and changes will be a sort of hindrance or a barrier for moving to Finland, then you simply reweigh your options and look else where other than Finland. There will be increase in tuition Fees, Application fees and work permit requirements. These are realities on ground.
Finland is and will always remain a Great country and I would always advise a close friend or family to Move here through the right ways and be ready to learn the Finland language and culture and on the long run, everything will be fine.
