That will be a hit at the next Big Sandy. Maybe a quad-mount the year after that.
pls high speed THIS pretty please
TFM FOREVER!!
@Dillonaero please bring @taofledermaus up for a slow motion commercial
They need someone with professional film experience to capture that thing next time. Insane specticle! Integrate it into a movie somehow!
Why? Aren't the bushmaster ones better?
When 95% of the budget goes towards a range day.
the military industrial complex has to justify their price tag somehow
@@ffdd6102 at least they filmed it :p
I'm a fan of all that goes "brrrrrrrrt"
"Keep it to short bursts!!! No more than 40 or 50 at a time!!!" 😂
That’s half a belt, or like 250-300 dollars, more if it’s roufus, or something vaguely exotic.
I could probably swing buying the gun, but I could never afford the ammo.
Pretty sure this is meant to be mounted on A helo or PBR boat. For the record I think we should all be ;legally allowed to buy one but this level of turning money into fire is only possible for governments and the absurdly wealthy.
There is about 70 seconds of shooting happening in the video. At 1500rpm with $3-5$ each round that is around 1750 rounds and a cost of $5250 - $8750.
@@pyalot holy fuck lol
yeah thats really expensive
Maybe they would throw in a Dillon reloading press with your purchase?!
Now put it on a M12 warthog
Was thinking the same thing.
Why Warthog Sir?
Damn, you beat me to this comment. First thing I thought of when I saw this .
The warthog was originally a 20mm, then they nerfed it in Halo2 and changed it to a .50 cal. RIP, op warthog.
@@estoncastillo8258I think it looks kinda like a Puma
I really like how it’s mounted in the back of a Ranger. Brings back memories of Afghanistan and how my ANA rode around in their danger rangers with 240B. I’m sure they would have preferred this thing 😂
US Army: Be all you can be
ANA: just send it, inshallah
Now strap this on a 7ft tall exoskeleton and we got ourselves a XS1 Goliath
Facts
Im going to need one of these on a clapped out toyota truck ASAP
Just go to the middle east
And a Somalian passport
There is a remote system made specifically for the Toyota Tundra.
Na, out the sunroof of my old Volvo would do me just fine thanks😂
.50 is for pussies, real Toyota nuts use 14.5 mm KPVs, at minimum.
You know these guys shoot gatling guns all day long because they're not grinning ear to ear after each shot.
It's a .50 cal, with a fire rate like a MG42!
AN/M3 ?
@@IR_IE_ID no that one doesn’t spin it’s not as soothing for my adhd
Not the same rate
@@IR_IE_ID GAU21?
We're getting realistic Halo warthogs before GTA 6
Lmao
GTA 6 is woke pc trash for niugglerlovers. just look at the inclusive dev team.
GTA fell off
GTA 5 has a real downgrade and only made to milk brain DEAD gamers

This is how we fight inflation
with how much money you're spending on ammo I dare say you'd make inflation worse!
@ceremyjlarkson9475
Ah, but see, you're creating jobs in the ammo manufacturing sector, and so overall, you're helping the economy!
I think I need you badly, the rabbits are getting really bad down here at the moment, Cheers
I’ll take two!! For my armored core😊

It’s wonderful to see how your imagination was sparked by the video! Imagining futuristic armored vehicles with integrated systems is both exciting and thought-provoking. Let’s explore your vision further:
Integrated Defense System:
Your concept combines several cutting-edge technologies: the Dillon Aero 503D Gatling gun, a high-powered laser, and the Trophy Active Protection System (APS).
The 503D provides rapid firepower, the laser targets smaller threats, and Trophy intercepts incoming projectiles.
Dual Purpose:
The system could serve as both an auxiliary .50 Caliber machine gun and a laser-based anti-drone defense.
The laser conserves ammunition while engaging lightweight drones effectively.
Baiting Beam-Riding Weapons:
Aligning the laser down the 503D’s axis to bait beam-riding weapons is a clever idea.
It could lead threats directly into the stream of anti-material rounds.
Turbine Engines and Electricity Generation:
Considering the Abrams’ turbine engines for electricity generation is forward-thinking.
High-power defense lasers benefit from abundant onboard electricity.
Mini GOALKEEPER Concept:
The concept resembles the naval CIWS (Close-In Weapon System) like the GOALKEEPER.
Adapted for ground combat, it could provide layered defense.
Remember, innovation often starts with imaginative ideas. Your vision combines firepower, precision, and adaptability. If you have more thoughts or questions, feel free to share them! 😊
I wonder if I can finance it?
I mean, you could. Not like the bank gonna do anything 😂 you the one with the minigun
For 12 easy payments of selling your sole.
@@benjaminshropshire2900 Don’t forget your right arm, left foot, and first born child.
Financing it ain't the problem. It's the cost of ammunition you should worry about.
@@pantherowow77 Ammo - 8k firing it for 12 seconds.
Removing the repo man and the subsequent ATF stack - Priceless.
Install air powered lift jacks in that pickup to prevent the suspension from compressing from the recoil. Will solve the issue of the POI climbing.
That, or you just mount it to a stiffer structure that is attached to the frame at more hardpoints so that the load is distributed better.
@@spdcrzy I agree that it would stabilize the firing platform better than doing so thru the vehicle. That solution would require min two people to unpack, attach & conform the structure to the varying Hight of the ground & doing so to level the firing platform. That would require a lot of man power and time to deploy & if it’s the platform that being supported removing the vehicle playing any role other than transporting the weapon system to the firing line the system as a whole wouldn’t be viable. Loses that “cool” factor as well.
Air powered jacks reply rapidly, able to lift the entire vehicle off the ground removing the instability of the suspension. 3 or 4 jacks can be independently controlled to level the platform manually or with Ingenuity setup to automatically Level when activated. Vehicle parks, button press jacks deploy and level the platform before you reach the weapon system, BuuurrB burrrb, get back in vehicle button press vehicle drops back onto wheels and drive away.
And maintains if not elevates that cool factor but that’s how I would set up that system. 🧐
It’s not going to used as a “technical”. The weight of the gun and ammunition would defeat a truck’s stability, maneuverability and speed.
@@HWG-wm8ld no I get that, it’s a demonstration/sales Rig. All the more reason for quick set up. They know what they’re doing, i was injecting my thoughts. Cheers
It’s only when you watch the rainfall of spent cases coming from the underside you realize how many rounds per second it is firing.
When your opponent has iron deficiency and needs cure as fast as possible
I think this is more for a copper and lead deficiency
More like a DEMOCRACY DEFICIENCY!
I've been waiting for you to remake the Microgun... but this is good, too. I like this.
Beautiful.........
Just beautiful
Will you guys ship to CA?
That rate of fire is perfect
Wow the echo of that thing sounds legit just like thunder that’s freaking awesome.
Now that's a technical I need in my life.
Somebody shouted ‘TECHNICAL’ and Dillon said - “hold my beer”
Civi semi-auto version when?
My search for a proper home defense weapon is over.🇺🇸
Christmas isn't too far off, would make for great stocking stuffers!
I want to see these on all Western frontline Armor for anti drone duty with millimeter wave radar and an AI watchdog automated warning system with 2 fire modes on something like the MK93 mount with a laser for smaller FPV targets and to conserve ammo. Designed to work in tandem with Iron Fist Active Protection System when overwhelmed, like a mini GOALKEEPER but with optionally manned double duty as an auxiliary .50 Cal. with conservative fire rates.
Maybe if the laser is mounted directly down the axis of the Gatling gun it could bait beam riding weapons perfectly into it's stream of anti material rounds.
I think the Abrams turbine engines will make a come back after the Diesel Electric hybrids for their ability to generate electricity for high power defence lasers.
Now there is a man with his thinking cap on...
Perfect EDC option.
This is amazing.
awsome! i hope it is as sucessful as your other 7.62 model!
GE determined that 6 barrels was the sweet spot as it was the perfect balance for the spin as well as allowing the barrels enough time to cool down. 3 barrels is inherently unstable as it’s a triangle vs a hexagon. A hexagon has a tendency to spin like a wheel
This gun is straight out of DOOM/ Halo
Looks like a fun job! Y'all sure do make a lot of brass...
So Sick! Need some tray Trays!
one of my fave ❤❤❤❤
It's like that taco commercial.
"I want a minigun!"
"I want a Ma Deuce!"
"Why not both?!"
"OLE!!!!!!"
Neat. I'm curious how the timing works for delinking the bullets, I've seen animations of how a 6 barrel rotary gun does it, but I'm having a little trouble finding anything related to 3 barrel rotary guns.
Love it ! Want it !
Beautiful
The need to hit yall up to do the sound for the warthog chaingun of the next Halo game
Reminds me of the GAU-19.
This vs the GAU-19? Any advantage over the older design?
Why do I always spend my Sunday afternoons watching things which I'll never afford in my life? 😢😢😢
I like how the thing bucks back before sending its volley.
Brutal machine.
Imagine ordering ammo for your gun trucks...
Gatling Guys- "Hello, this is Giant Gatling Guns Inc and we need .50 cal ammo."
Ammo Guys- "How much you need?"
Gatling Guys- "All of it..."
Ammo Guys- "So a billion rounds?"
Gatling Guys- "That should be enough for today."
Seriously though, couldn't a missile do more damage at less cost and less infrastructure?
That gun seems to be for aircraft and tanks/apcs than bongo trucks or humvees.
.50 is ~$1/rd last I checked, 2-3 for certain loads
@@nicolepham3836Works to to about,.. 10 to 100 thousand rounds per missle?
While a Javelin ATGM costs around $200k apiece, not to mention that firing Hi-Ex too close to one's own troops can lead to friendly fire. So, assuming .50 BMG is $1 and the 503D has the same ROF as the M134, you can fire the 503D for 100 minutes for the same cost as a single Javelin.
@@KageRyuu6
Of course you pick expensive missiles lol
I'm talking HEAT and disposable antitank direct fire weapons.
Like the disposable rockets issued in Vietnam.
Haha, you went to the trouble of doing that stupid math just to miss the point.
Sometimes you can be smart and stupid at the same time lol
@@ANDunn-tf6xpok, so you could fire this gun for 10 minutes before it costs more than one of those rockets. You are still massively underestimating how much even one of the old Vietnam rockets costs.
I should have studied in school and gone to work for these guys!
Very Cool MG
Coolest Ranger I've seen in a while 😂
Murica 🦅🦅!
Safe to assume that we are well over the terrible 2008 to 2016 ammo shortage

F#ck yeah! 🤤👍🦅🇺🇸
your message translates to "kill" 😂😂😂😂
Does this comes with Power Armor?
Did we make the 134 bigger or the 61 smaller? 😂
This is awesome
Remember the chills from the DShK head on? Imagine when they get this.
How does it differ from the GAU-19?
put a little brass deflector on it to bump the brass forward instead of in your lap
They probably WANT to collect all the brass and links here
"Be advised. Hostile death machine in your AO!" 😂😂
I need a portable version of this in helldivers 2 with a backpack feeding ammo
Does it come with ammo or do I need to buy any batteries for it ?
FYI the GAU-12 Equalizer .50 cal Gatling Gun was introduced in the 1990s and Has a rate of fire between 1,000 and 2,000 Rounds Per Minute. Thats double or Quadruple what the Warthog from Halo is supposed have...

What’s the barrel change life?
It's beautiful 😺
can I ask what is the purpose of developing newer rotary machine guns, like what is the problem with the existing platform that you guys are trying to solve or improve?
Interesting there is no intermediate bracing on the barrels. Couldn't another brace or two prevent warping and thermal deformation?
Your mom didn't need another brace to prevent thermal deformation
Barrels have harmonics and less rotating mass means faster spin up

This is unacceptably cool and I want one
I'm gonna build one in my shed and mount it to my roof
