Awesome...this is the first live performance of Hunger I've heard...and its terrific.
This damn band makes me cry all the time! I just love their music so much. Their first album is probably my favorite album of all time. And once again, this album is so beautiful.
I already can see 20 years into my future, playing their music for my kids and saying "these were the songs that my friends and I played in the summer back in the 2010s". It's like I'm already nostalgic about it somehow.

I also love them, they reach that part in my soul that craves this music. I absolutely love them and all of their music. On my wish list is to be able to see them live and in Iceland would top it off. :)

In an interview, Nanna said that she initially wrote songs w/ the intention that others would sing them. But then she couldn't find other singers--to our benefit. :) She best understands the emotions underlying her notes and lyrics, and it absolutely shows in her voice, expressions, and gestures.
Utterly unique voice, which struck me from the first time I heard it.
This song made me cry my heart out everytime. Reminds me of my dad who has terrible life, and then got PTSD from war, and automatically I have sad and hard childhood. I moved out since I was 18 and surviving alone till this day. Somehow, I love him, and I know he loves me, but I just can't be around him.
