Just a heads up, I keep seeing the same comment over and over again. I was thinking that Faunus was a warehouse find, but it turns out it was a reissue, and thus less likely to get a V2 right now. Thanks to everyone who has pointed this out, but I'm hoping there was more value in this video beyond just this one inconsistency.
I am predicting another new Wizard, a Ratagast inspired type wizard, whos on the silly side, whos probably trying to rebuild what was destroyed, but other characters are too tired and do not have hope and he tries to lighten the other characters up and reinstall hope in the other Basilia members. I predict that the silver staff and other book from the weapons pack belongs to him. I am also hoping for a version 2.5 or 3.0 Gorgo with a face reveal. I also think this is where Otho finally gets a version 2. I also predict a 1.0 bodied shadow Elf. I remember they hinted they would make a version 2 Urzokk
Valuable insights as always. I could see that beyond just being version 2s, named versions of army builders like Boarrior, Bog Goblin, etc.

The wording from the instagram post really makes me think this will be the new guard stepping up so if this is a v2 focused wave I can easily see Gwendolynne, Morgolyth, and Lucretia having a chance for a v2, and Otho since he's a popular choice for a reissue and his design could use a refresh to make him stand out.
I'm deliberately managing my expectations so I don't get disappointed, but I would LOVE an Urkzaa V2 on a 1.0 female body. A Jorund V2 would be nice too, I'd like to complete the Convocation of Bassylia faction but he's just way too expensive.
Gryshaa has a very interesting design.
That one certainly stands out.
That one should at least be re-issued as it is.

I really want a good humanoid panther body to go with that extra head they released.
I’d like to see a 6 figure wave with 4 v2 and 2 new characters or builders
For v2 I’d like to see Herra Serpenspire, because of the location the wave takes place and the new tooling from Bastet could work well. Jorund would make a really good v2, again to keep the Convocation in focus, he could benefit from a lot of the new parts, and he fills the dwarf spot for the wave. Last among the heroes, I think Gideon is going to be one of the fallen heroes, so Gwendolynne is going to take his place as leader of the faction. Some new female knight pieces could really sell the upgrade. The final v2 I could see is a villain maybe Gryshaa (although I think 4H knocked it out of the park the first time), but what I’d really like to see is a Minotaur like Torrion getting a promotion in the Circle of Poxxus and being rebuilt on a Brute body. Asterionn could fit that bill, too.
The last two figures I’d really like to see is a new knight builder featuring the Valiant Knight. That is one of my favorite figures in the line, so give me another one with new colors, maybe two different colored soft tunics, three heads, all the hands, and a couple new weapons.
The last new thing I’d like to see is just a plain Brute Scale builder. Tharnogg js great, but I don’t want to have to buy a bunch of them and have all those extra pieces I have no use for. Either an Orc green or Human Fleshtone will work. I just want to see more of those bodies in circulation.
I want Thord Ironjaw, he's too expensive!

I'd rather Queen Urkzaa get an update, than the Urkku. As is, she's rather bare bones; doesn't even come with any pauldrons; and if you look at Urkku's bio, he's an army builder.
Yeah I always confuse Urkku and Urzokk. Urzokk should be the one to get the V2
So Faunus was part of the reissues in the mystery box sale. I just looked for and saw the post Jeremy made regarding that. I do really like the rest of your list, though.... although I already have Torrion and Gwendolyn, and I'm happy with those versions, so I hope to see something else there.

Otho for sure! A female knight builder pack, b/c we're severely lacking in that category at this point. And i actually think (hope) we see a couple of the great beasts. Xylona is in great need of a redo.
I'd love to see more female knights, or updates on Delphina or Hadriana, although Hadriana is pretty perfect. I'd really love to see a female Valiant knight
Hope we get a V2 of Gwendolyn.
Great list Bill. I think we're getting the Valiant Knight's opposite Knight. I also agree, I think we're getting four V2's.

Maybe all the ogre scale figures could be re-released with the updated hip designs so whty won't break.
Equadrion (spelling?) looked cool, but seemed to suffer from a problem with the older hip design.
The older hip design is indeed inferior to the new hips, but they are not that hard to get to work properly. I'm down for reissues, but I hope they don't dedicate version 2 energy to figures that just need hip upgrades.
@@DorkLair Of course, Four Horsemen should do a couple re-issues for new fans coming on board and some totally new figures for the long time fans who already have the older stuff.
They can't please everyone all the time, but they could try to please the largest possible number of people this way.
Four Horsemen probably have very detailed and accurate sales data to draw from when making their decisions.
I'll say ranger elf is one that i'd bet on.
4h will have a field day with new looks for him too
I wouldn't mind Jorund with some of the new dwarf and magic user parts. I think you came up with a great list, and I'd be happy with any of them.
The Masters of the Universe (MOTU) figures should be re-released.
Those are just plain fun.
Like I said, I think they will do version 2s of some of them (even if the never straight reissue them)
@@DorkLair I'm still hoping for a stright re-release of Adamonn and Keltuss. I'd enjoy an armored version of each.
I wonder how Four Horsemen would handle a Flying Fists and Terror Claws version of each one, or any of the other versions.
Bill, I whole heartly believe Ortho will get a version 2. He is the #1 fan favorite. I personally think Morgalyth is a very strong contender. The Necronimus story line made her get deposed by Thorasis. She will have another role to the war. Whether a different position in the faction or an alliance with another faction. Same with Queen Urkzaa. She has more to contribute. Both of these character designs I swear was rumored to be marked for an upgrade. Take out the minotaur and the dwarf in my opinion. Not needed as badly as the others in your list. Incredible food for thought.🇺🇸✌️
Very interesting list. I pray and assume you are right about Otho. I long ago told you my cries to get this one back. I thought since we got The Dark Four, we may have to wait for the release of The Great Beasts to get faction figures with each , and if we got another Eathyron, then we would finally get our 2nd coming of Otho. I don't know the FH's schedule, of course, but that seems like that would be far down the line. I've often joked that I don't know which will be first. The Dragon or Otho version 2.
I can actually see a second version of Gadriel. Maybe one that is not so war worn. Maybe without the scar and longer hair. Shinier armor, perhaps.
I would love a Sir Galeron since he was so close in All Stars voting the last time. Update the armor style, but not the color, and include an unhelmeted head. Finally, I would love to see Asterionn, but in a larger scale. If not ogre, then at least brute. I think the day of the human sized minotaur should be over.

Nice review Bill! I think alot of us are hoping for a new Otho, how important is he to the story? He would be a great update though. Id love to see more female knights, like an updated Delphina, or Gadriel. Mentioned it a few times but Id love to see a female Valiant knight. Azza i think Jeremy has plans for. He kind of alluded to her being important to the future story, maybe?
Otho was best friends with Atilla and Attlus. His bio says that Attlus's departure hit Otho harder than it did Attila, so I think there's story to tell there. Maybe Otho defecting to Noble Bear or being the bind that brings Attila and Attlus back together. Something along those lines.

Love the picks really want more brute scale so inthink for sure we see that inagree with all picks but Fuanus as he was reissued and think if they did that they dont have on table yet for v2 maybe at a later date so i would replace with 1new fig that is from the battle
Yeah you're like the 10th person to point out the Faunus error, for some reason I was thinking he was a warehouse find. This video was essentially zero prep, live one take. If I had stopped to look up and think about each figure there would have been numerous 3 minute gaps of silence lol.

It would be better to re-issue the older ones as they were with a few updates to correct for quality issues or other possible defects.
There are always new fans that would like to get the older figures that are new and at reasonable prices.
The problem is that the newer figures tend to be so much more fully developed and unique than those older figures, so whenever they get reissued they tend to not sell very well. Four Horsemen have talked about this on their live streams. It's one of the reasons they are not doing an All Stars wave this year.
@@DorkLair I wonder if they are reaching a large enough number of new fans and collectors that see an opportunity to get the earlier figures they didn't know about or missed the first time around.
Some fans and collectors see that they missed out on an action figure line's earlier releases and decide not to bother starting a collection. Some collectors probably don't worry or care about that kind of thing.
I heard about some of the older stuff being re-released and thought I'd have a chance at getting some of the earlier stuff at reasonable prices.
We'll see how things work out.
...I always wondered why we don't have an other Centaur (Aphareus) already? Perhaps a black Vampire one? A green Ork/Ogre version? Or what about a clear/lava red (like Marvel Legends Surtur) complete with demon wings?

Fun to speculate for sure. I do think any V2s will be a yin/yang thing, a goodie for each baddie. For me personally, almost 99% of the V2 options would need brand new heads/faces/expressions for me to really care much. While I really appreciate the pop and swapability, I also grow tired of lack of unique heads and definitely lack of expressions so that is always what I want most. maybe a new heads pack will be a part of this wave?! fingers crossed
Based on the other Version 2 releases, I'd be very surprised if they didn't continue to give new headsculpts with future version 2 releases.
Did they do an homage of D&D's Warduke?
What other homages have they done besides that one and the MOTU figures?
The troll Brontus is an homage to Marvel's Thing. Poxxus is a tribute to youtuber Pixel Dan. There's also an upcoming Cosmic Legions homage to Adventure People. Plus a few others.

Great video DorkLair. Can you please tell us what program you are using for your drag and place frames? I think that would be a great tool to use while picking and choosing during a pre-order.
I use the Canva slideshow app. You can add frames to your slide and drag images into the frames.
Id swap out Carpatheus for Faunus since he was in the re-runs and the wave could use a vamp rep. He has an awesome backstory yet his figure is pretty basic too. Also, probably would have kept in Queen Urkzaa vs Urkku. Rest are solid!
Yeah like I said this was basically a live in-the-moment video, it didn't make sense to have 3 minutes of silence each time I looked up a fact, so I just went with what I could recall. Turns out I was wrong about Faunus, but he would indeed make for a stellar V2, with even more organic "wood" parts. Go all out.

interesting that you mention with the mysterybox figures that they probably wont do a v2 of them, yet you had Faunus in your list the whole time. But in your defense, I scrolled back and you didn't remember if he was reissued. But yes, he was.
I knew he was part of the Mystery Boxes, but like I said in the video, I thought he was one of the "warehouse finds." These are the type of errors that don't get ironed out on a "live"-style video like this.

@@DorkLair Sorry didn't scroll through them all, which I should have done. Yes I did. Don't know the lore well so I appreciate the lore take on why figures would get new versions. And I agree Gadriel has little room for improvement. She is one of my favorites.
