He literally said he was his authentic self and couldn't give yes or no answers because he needs to give context. He is literally the man we saw on TV.
The edits had me thinking he had an intellectual disability. Yes he is awkward but he can deff string a sentence together...the opposite of what the show projected. I still feel for Nat regardless
I feel sorry for Nats loss of her father but she was being absolutely ridiculous expecting a TOTAL stranger to fill the void of her father and live in her Disney idea of love at first sight, she is so bambi in the woods, Alice in wonderland she is emotionally immature and no one was ever going to hold her accountable for anywhere she went wrong because of her grief. She should have never gone on the show, it's wild and naive to expect not one;y guaranteed true love and the answer to her grief. Thats a lot to put on a total stranger sorry.
@@kellymarieapplebeethat's really well said. I put the blame back on Nine in this instance. The "experts" should have seen this coming and made that call to not have Nat on the show. It makes sense that Nat didn't have the smarts to make that call given who she is and where she was at in her grief cycle.
I am so glad I got to hear Collins story. It makes so much more sense what went down. Turns out Natalie had issues with being homesick and they never mentioned it on the show.
She came across like child having a tantrum because someone didnt immediately act teenage type gooey and expected 100% guarantee love at first sight, she's like a child at Disney. Collin isn't as stupid as he looked, Collin used the MAFS platform for his own advantage. He pretended to be acting in some movie scene. If I were a producer I'd give him a go.
Producers stuffed up letting her be on the show . Should have scrapped after the wedding . Given him another wedding . But they worked out they could use a grieving girl to create drama while not making her look bad. They could have let her have a go the following season
I came here to say I didn’t like Collins but after seeing this interview I’m questioning my opinion however I still have doubts. He seemed like he was acting and not a very good one. We all know reality shows are heavily edited and they can paint participants in a bad light and it certainly appears that way with Collins. I didn’t understand why Natalie returned and I thought the producers talked her into staying because why would she go back to him. He seemed so fake on the show. Very different in this interview. It would be good to hear her side.
Wow he was able to fool so many people in the comments... this amn admitted to being his authentic self and DIDNT WANT TO SAY THINGS TOO HARSH. Man this guy is a load of b.s.
🤔 At least he's owning some of it. He's not a bad guy but he IS that annoying, indecisive, "everything's fine in Ba Sing Se" personality. He has growing to do.
I saw on a tea time group on FB, that apparently his FB says that he was married to a guy in 2021. it’s also said that this has been debunked as Collins “joking around”
yeah they screwed him with the edit and made him look like a tool to give their pairing some kind of storyline, Nat shouldn't have gone on MAFS and honestly seems like a lovely person that should never have been put through such an intense TV show whilst grieving like that, but that was her decision to make not Collins' #justiceforcollins
Collins is devoid of emotional awareness! When you see another human being struggling wether they are a stranger or not, showing them compassion, empathy, tenderness, speaking & acting from your “ Heart”. Also i notice he is actually speaking differently in this interview than he did on the show, whats up with that.
Wow. No wonder he went into the show seeing it as an experiment. Accepted 3 times, dropped everything, job included. Na, sorry. Oh yeah we found you one, before he'd sent his preference list. Then she backs out. Then oh we got you a one. You've on. Then she's losing it. 6 weeks after her dad died. A dad she had a secure attachment with. That's huge for anyone. No man could fill that void. I'm a step dad that tried for years to let the children form a secure bond. It's a loooong process. I don't think it was fair to Nat or Collins to have to do this. Who would even date after six weeks let alone move in with a stranger? No one. It's a bit like watching porn. You can tell yourself no one is being harmed or exploited. But you can't know for sure. I'm done with it.
pretty much ALL reality tv is a “lie”!!!! Editing is what it’s all about but we all still watch it! The woman he was placed with was as strange as he was different. Its very cruel indeed. I found it abusive. Shame on you MAFS. There needs to be investigation into this. It could have been dangerous.
How does one get approached for a reality show? He had to be in the entertainment business or have an agent because things like that just don't randomly happen to the average person.

I am actually getting fed up with the Australian version of this show. They choose people to make TV. The Judges on the couch, speaking to Jack as if he's a child! Ridiculous!🤷♀️😱
I would be homesick and want to be with my loved ones too if I’m paired with a weird guy! Evidently, she told him how weird he is before she left. Also, he texted her when the show aired, and she didn’t reply. This is very telling. Sorry, but he’s just making excuses for himself. 🤷🏻♂️
He wants to be recognised. He got paid to be on the show. It’s funny how he says I didn’t know Natalie, but he is indian background and they have arranged marriages and they marry a stranger, his parents probably were arranged, HE is full of shit 😂
Things would’ve been so different if you and Nat met in passing. I didn’t expect Collins to communicate like this at all. The media really does things 😳
I’d like to see them together-there are two sides to every story. We are hearing his side only-he may not have the story exactly right either. I don’t trust him.
Natalie was not worth the hassle or effort. Decent guys will never pursue girls like natalie. He should have left sooner. Time to move on and get a life.We all know from past seasons that the very premise of this show sucks. This is not how marriages are built. Collins is not obligated at all to love / like natalie. If one likes the person great . If not too bad. He was imperfect & much better than some other guys boasting of their sexual prowess etc etc. Bottom line - This is an immoral show. Its disgusting to see the older couples behaving like mis directed teenagers. No decorum , no finesse , no intelligence.
Natalie is a nutcase that’s why she is single. I found her to be selfish, it takes time to open up and collins more reserved. You could tell Collins didn’t like her when she was acting very goofy. He wanted to stay not for her but for himself so he didn’t have to go back to work. 😅If mafs stressful why go on camera for the country to see you make full of yourselves. The viewers think the show is real and it’s not. angela 😅
I do wonder that myself but then again, plenty of gay guys have completely "straight" traits and you'd never think they were gay. So it would go both ways. Slightly effeminate straight guys only interested in females.
The television raised him his parents didn't his parents left him in front of the television as a child his acting skills are trash and he doesn't know how to be in a real relationship 🙄
They only want specific people to do the certain roles in every season they want to fill ; that’s why they message most contestants to be on the show instead of people thinking if they apply they’ll get on tv ; An idiot/ oblivious / lights are on no one’s home- unfortunately they’ve made Collins edit to be that person ( saying that in the most respectful way because not going to lie that would be my edit also if I went on the show 😅) - they need a crazy person- the psychic , the controversial/ or the villains- obvious lol And the ones who look like they will make it - Eden and Jayden

Collins said his piece
The producers really mucked this one up in a negligent way. 😳
Love the confidence!! Amazing resilience 😊
He is a very false person and I pity any person he gets involved with... Its like he has no soul.. Its all just acting
Lol did you even watch this?
He blames others
Exactly he's all about himself...cold
Natalie was having a great time until Collins told her to tone it down. If she hadn't felt rejected by him, she may not have needed her family there.
He can't say anything at this point to save himself . His laugh gives me instant nausea
He's not trying to save himself. Let people be the way they are. Your own energy comes across gross so why don't you pay attention to that.
@@ab-oh4wg it's just an opinion. Relax.
@@tinyviolin I understand but its not about "relaxing". Its about not creating unfair narratives. Cheers mate. Have a great day. Its time to move forwards.
@blink182izawsmThen why did she confront him about how weird he is before she left? Why did she not reply to his text when he texted her after the show aired? I think she was homesick and wanted to be around her loved ones because she was paired with a weirdo! 🤷🏻♂️
@@mohammadal-drees3106 He explained that in this interview. She would have been coached by the Producers, so she could appear to leave, legitimately.
Seems like he had a rougher time than was projected to us, it's really unfair the edit they gave him
Collin isn't as stupid as he looked, Collin used the MAFS platform for his own advantage. He pretended to be acting in some movie scene. If I were a producer I'd give him a go.
😂 It’s Collins. 😂 annoying guy he is. and so was Natalie. you see they get paid to be on that show. I’m so glad they left 😂😂😂👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
his version...?? Yeah??
I think Collins should get a second chance like lizzie. I think he really wasted his time with a depressed girl who wasnt ready for relationship.
Who goes to Broome for their honeymoon anyway???
Yup...and its the show that makes these decisions.
Nat and Collins don't look as "hot and sexy" in their swimwear so they don't get the expensive glam overseas bikini clad holidays 🙄e
Wow he was able to fool so many people in the comments... this amn admitted to being his authentic self and DIDNT WANT TO SAY THINGS TOO HARSH. Man this guy is a load of b.s.
Yup, shows how many gullible people around.
🤔 At least he's owning some of it. He's not a bad guy but he IS that annoying, indecisive, "everything's fine in Ba Sing Se" personality. He has growing to do.
I watch mafs for the drama and laughs 😃 😅😅. These people are bloody nuts 😅😅.
id say he hasn't come out !
I saw on a tea time group on FB, that apparently his FB says that he was married to a guy in 2021. it’s also said that this has been debunked as Collins “joking around”
Oh.. poor Collins. Nat seriously wasnt ready for love.
yeah they screwed him with the edit and made him look like a tool to give their pairing some kind of storyline, Nat shouldn't have gone on MAFS and honestly seems like a lovely person that should never have been put through such an intense TV show whilst grieving like that, but that was her decision to make not Collins' #justiceforcollins
I had heard that Nat and Collins couldn't leave the show until after the first commitment ceremony. They signed a contract.
Collins is devoid of emotional awareness! When you see another human being struggling wether they are a stranger or not, showing them compassion, empathy, tenderness, speaking & acting from your “ Heart”. Also i notice he is actually speaking differently in this interview than he did on the show, whats up with that.
lol i don't care to show compassion to strangers. if she wanted tenderness she can go see a therapist
Yes I agree totally with you, can't believe people on here are taken in by his acting..
So married at first sight is one big lie!!!!!!
pretty much. I watch it as a Study of Human Nature and Dynamics. :D
pretty much ALL reality tv is a “lie”!!!! Editing is what it’s all about but we all still watch it! Some people just get a rough edit and some get a monstrous hideous edit that they become the “seasons villain” It’s brutal but some get off light and are pretty much the same people in real life as they come across on tv.
@@AngieSainty100% agree with you on that! I like that perspective! Don’t get into the hate on people because i get the edits create a totally different person but the situations and scenarios that come up are either relatable or fascinating
Duh.
pleaseeee fix the volume issue in future videos 😅😅
Collins mic is SO loud & the girls mic is reallyyyyyy quiet
Totally agree with jackyeastwood 9294 I thought he was autistic because he showed no emotion for her if he didn't like her he would have at least made conversation but if he's autistic that would be hard
Jeez, they edited this guy like he was a complete idiot!? I'm surprised he's so chill about it. I can understand now the real reason behind those odd reactions and awkward silences.
32 minutes of non-stop Collins, now this is some modern warfare
This is some self obsessed feminine rambling for 30mins. That he had time to prepare for.
His just finding himself, I think he will find out what he really likes very soon.
Nat should be given another chance on this show what an amazing beautiful lady had to put up with ,you could feel her heart feel her pain at being linked to him my god life on another planet bring back Nat send him back to what ever planet he is from space x is available
Ugh no thanks
See Collins in a diff light. Sorry they did you in like that.Shows you how the producers can twist shit. Very Narsissistic.Hope you find your partner for you.
They should give you a do-over
He is a weirdo
I loved his showdown with John. John is an expert in manipulation that’s all
Whoops, Taliah’s mic is back to front, rejecting her voice. Might seem they can be placed anywhere but not so! (That’s why her voice is quiet on this)
Turns out our ‘Collins’ is brimming with articulate points of view that were unfortunately cut from the show.
I totally see him in a different way now. I feel bad for him now
I feel very sorry for Collins. He was treated very badly indeed by MAFS. He was used by them for a different type of interesting person for viewers. The woman he was placed with was as strange as he was different. Its very cruel indeed. I found it abusive. Shame on you MAFS. There needs to be investigation into this. It could have been dangerous.
the mics and audio mixing on this pod is brutal
WELL SAID, MAFS SEEMS SO TOUGH FOR YOU. BLESSINGS XXX
How does one get approached for a reality show? He had to be in the entertainment business or have an agent because things like that just don't randomly happen to the average person.
Does he have autism?
I didnt say there is nothing wrong with people with autism relax. I was genuinely asking. Collins hasnt' done anything wrong either, I think everything he has said is actually logical and made perfect sense. @@ab-oh4wg
What’s wrong with that 🤔
@@kennethopoku226 with autism? Or if he has autism?
If he'd given her support she wouldn't have felt so bad and wtf calling the producers every time yea definitely something not right
The show made him look silly. The other couples did not want him there. It was obvious something was wrong with his wife. (Missing home). I am actually getting fed up with the Australian version of this show. They choose people to make TV. The Judges on the couch, speaking to Jack as if he's a child! Ridiculous!🤷♀️😱
It makes sense now
So when she'd get upset he would "call the producers". No wonder she didn't trust him.
Why would producers of the show allow someone who was grieving that much to participate?
I would be homesick and want to be with my loved ones too if I’m paired with a weird guy! Evidently, she told him how weird he is before she left. Also, he texted her when the show aired, and she didn’t reply. This is very telling. Sorry, but he’s just making excuses for himself. 🤷🏻♂️
He wants to be recognised. He got paid to be on the show. It’s funny how he says I didn’t know Natalie, but he is indian background and they have arranged marriages and they marry a stranger, his parents probably were arranged, HE is full of shit 😂
Shows you how much the edit matters… don’t believe everything you see!
Omg, that guy is controlling and a loser
Collins,Timothy and Natalie need help not reality tv
Man sounds even more zesty here than in the show
Wouldnt pay a nickel to see him on Only Duds.
Things would’ve been so different if you and Nat met in passing. I didn’t expect Collins to communicate like this at all.
The media really does things 😳
He’s a waste of time… Natalie deserved better than him. He needs to be assessed for being on some kind of spectrum. Hate to use the word idiot…. But…
You don't have the right to call someone you don't know an idiot. That reveals everything about you. Think before you speak pal.
@@ab-oh4wg I did'nt know Hitler either... but I'm allowed to have an opinion on his actions. Hope that reveals more for you.... have a nice life!!
Yeah I still find him to be a huge weirdo, but hey no 1 is perfect
Really - who assigned you as spokes person for all decent guys?
@@angelinam6855 i did. You don't have the right to make uninformed dum comments!
@@ab-oh4wgwell said
Natalie is a nutcase that’s why she is single. The viewers think the show is real and it’s not. angela 😅
Which "older couples" are you referring to?
Not convinced, he's not gay. So many female traits.
I do wonder that myself but then again, plenty of gay guys have completely "straight" traits and you'd never think they were gay. So it would go both ways. Slightly effeminate straight guys only interested in females.
Oh, What a day, what a day😔 😔 🤪 🤫
Natalie is now dating a woman , says it all really
Th most disingenuous person I’ve seen
Or, the most disingenuous editing.
The television raised him his parents didn't his parents left him in front of the television as a child his acting skills are trash and he doesn't know how to be in a real relationship 🙄
They only want specific people to do the certain roles in every season they want to fill ; that’s why they message most contestants to be on the show instead of people thinking if they apply they’ll get on tv ;
An idiot/ oblivious / lights are on no one’s home- unfortunately they’ve made Collins edit to be that person ( saying that in the most respectful way because not going to lie that would be my edit also if I went on the show 😅) - they need a crazy person- the psychic , the controversial/ or the villains- obvious lol
And the ones who look like they will make it - Eden and Jayden
He should have gone of Love on the Spectrum instead
He wasn't in this for a relationship... he was in it for fame... and he's milking it now... that explains his bizarre switched on, volume high mode one minute, then the puppet with strings cut, "Andy has entered the toy room" flop the next
