An accurate description, excellent informative captions, and the always amazing wooden boats. Thanks for enduring the heat, hope you had a chance to cool off somewhere on your walk. Looks like some better weather for you starting soon. 👍🙏🙏👋
This is a very nice walk across the bridge with a magnificent beautiful view sorry to hear about plane crash I remember hearing about it on the news Thank You as always and thank you.🇸🇪👋
Thank you for a great walk and enduring the heat to create this video! It is appreciated. I see this bridge in a Stockholm live cam YT channel and your video help give more perspective (as they always do) about the area.
@@StockholmWalks Yes! I believe that's it. Also, I just finished your Julita estate video, and I must visit this place - Wonderful!! Thank you for taking us to places that seem like a dream to me.
Oh, I didn’t notice! But I don’t think the old meaning “buy drugs here” is valid anymore…? More likely a game for kids that don’t pay for their own shoes?
@@StockholmWalks I had no idea there was a possible "drugs" meaning. I did assume it was just kids having "fun", though possibly not with their own shoes??
Great video, with nice views and lots of info. The only thing I can add is that the big white house to the left of the bridge, in Marieberg, is called "Erlanderhuset" since the Swedish prime minister Tage Erlander moved in there in the early 60´s
I took a 70 km bike ride yesterday, in that heat. On my old bike, so no pedal assist, and wow, sure was hot. Had to stop once on the way home after "Skogåsba cken" to catch my breath. l often ride over the Västerbron which is also a good workout.
Sinking ship is not a very clever modus operandi, let alone on the maiden voyage. Was it Vasa, the one in the museum? It couldn't be the iceberg, as far as I know there are none in the Baltic sea. Moby Dick?
“Högmod går före fall” “ pride / arrogance comes before falling” it was Vasa, and as far as I know it was just badly constructed, too much glory, not enough sense… it sunk as she was firing the canons to celebrate the big day…
The substantial difference is that here in Scandinavia there can be summer days of scorching heat, but they generally last a short time (2/3 days) while there in the Mediterranean the scorching heat can last for months.
@@StockholmWalks Climate change is starting to be a serious problem 😔, where I live last year in May, we had some days at 40 degrees and nights over 20 degrees, this year a little better

It’s now back to more normal temperatures, which I do appreciate!
Excellent views for sure Stockholm Walks! I think that pilot has 9 lives 😇
At least! And no wonder our government has a hard time trying to sell the aircraft to other countries…

Thank you for your videos. With them, I feel like I'm in Stockholm every day. This makes it easier for me to wait for the next trip to Stockholm.
Glad you enjoy the videos- plenty of Stockholm here for sure!

Is it the camera on DN building? Glad you liked it in the ground as well!

Beautiful city❤
Glad you enjoyed it!
I'll be visiting family in July and the live on Reimers. I can't wait to walk over Västerbron again!
Reimers- a very nice place to stay. Have fun!
If you took right instead of left you would find the sculpture just 10 meters away :)
Oh really! Thank you!
That's a LOT of running shoes hanging from the cables under the Lilla Västerbron at the end!

That bridge is quite a pain when on a bike!

@@StockholmWalks Thanks for the explanation, interesting facts. And I like that saying! Yeah, what begins in arrogance often ends in shame...
But if it's the same heat as in Spain, why?☀️
The substantial difference is that here in Scandinavia there can be summer days of scorching heat, but they generally last a short time (2/3 days) while there in the Mediterranean the scorching heat can last for months.
Why is it hot? Well, we are likely to get more and more of these previously rather rare hot summer days

Yeah, quite scary!
No sympathy. It's been 33-38c here for a week.
Gah, that’s rough!
