I have done 15,000 kms on fronx alpha, this car is deceptively quick and has a lot of useable power. Highway mileage is around 21-22 kmpl and city mileage is 10-11 km. Not the perfect car, but is likeable and easy to live with.
@ferbinxyz I'm talking about the Mileage not about performance. Mileage is almost the same as of Volkswagen Skoda Car's 1.0 liter and 1.5 liter engines.
wondering how many more persons are out there who own Belona RS in the past and now owning Fronx 1.0 Turbo since oct 2023 and I would just say that I love these cars because of engine and same time getting good average as well
I have the Zeta variant and its VFM as mentioned here. Have been driving for 6 months and boy its fun to drive without much compromising on the mileage. The features are less but at they work every time unlike Tata/Mahindra. Interior quality could have been better as its around 13 Lakhs on road Mumbai. But the ride quality and the engine is so good that I have not missed the features it doesn’t get.
If petrol was 50₹, it would have been fine. But fuel cost is too much these days. Even if I can afford it, sometimes I feel like "oh maybe I shouldn't go to the beach today, why waste ₹200 to go and come back. This is why I wish manufacturers would come with strong hybrids and electrics in the 7 to 15 lakh segment (I know about Tiago and Punch, but I wish I had more options)
Maruti suzuki is going to launch a mild and strong hybrid version of frnox in upcoming years. At that time this car would be the perfect choice from each factor
Always get 20-22 kmpl mileage on highways with my Fronx Delta Plus automatic. Negotiate hard with the dealer for price and also ask for Rear camera above number plate which is in Zeta and Alpha. They will give after several requests. 👍
I upgraded from ignis zeta to fronx alpha. If you're considering fronx delta plus, you might be disappointed because ignis is punchier to drive. However, fronx is more spacious and comfortable compared to ignis. You ll be missing Keyless entry and rear wiper in fronx delta plus and your ignis zeta has those.
I heard the 1L turbo engine needs a full cleaning in every 20k km ..is it true ? And how is the turbo engine's reliability compared to 1.2 naturally aspirated engine..is the life of turbo engine same as NA engine
@@sash0047 45k is the cost of the turbo in fronx and Baleno rs. Considering the 5 year extended warranty and comparatively cheaper spare parts, it's worth the risk.
Some things to note, I dont know why all reviewers bitch and complain about sunroofs and armrests at the back,as if the car cannot function without them. They aren't a must have feature for everyone, the center arm rest must be stowed when 3 people sit and it hurts the back of the middle passenger, while crying for a sun roof in a country like INDIA? really? aside from the higher price AND cabin temperatures it also compromises the car's roof strength, also a moving part is prone to malfunction and leak! and also needs service! so factor that in when you whine about a gimmicky feature or a vanity feature built for western countries with cold climates. P.S, The upholstery on the fronx is fine, asking for a sticky leather seats in India is silly that fabric is comfortable breathable and easy to clean. The colour on the other hand is a different story but hey, its grown on me.
There’s a difference between bitching and stating a fact. If a 15 lakh rupee car doesn’t have something as basic as a rear armrest it has to be mentioned. As far as the upholstery goes, there are better quality fabric seat covers available too, so it’s not just about leather (or rather faux leather)
True, I own fronx zeta and it's value for money. Everything is there that is required for daily comutes and long drive.
