@@sunseeker4775 reminds me of that verse out of the gospel of thomas about bringing forth that which is within you (the soul) as thats what will save you and if you do not bring forth that which is within you will destroy you..........so if you feed that which is within you with goodies then it will live - or it will die off from neglect becuase it is not being fed with the nutrition it needs....................such as the the vast majority of the world through materialism!

I think the gaps between what Plotinus et all meant and how we understand the meanings of those words are now large enuf as to make this really confusing for folks. Maybe the author writes those out in the book somewhere? But maybe a whole episode or part of one at least, could be dedicated to the meaning of "intellectual". Thanks for your awesomeness!!

The soul can indeed be likened as a prisoner, but one should look into the east in order to fulfil his world-view. We are here to change matters in the physical world, accept this and you accept all memories. God is in everything and operates indeed in ways mysterious to us, precisely because this SuperConsciousness experiences everything from all perspectives, simultaneously and in all possible iterations and chooses from the paths available to the comparatively minor beingness, the best of those path trajectories. Best trajectory is, the one that leads a person to the middle way, the symmetry.
Admittedly it's not the clearest translation, there are many others out there, but this is the only one I could get from the public domain (that is to say, its bound to be weighed down by opaque archaicisms).

If you can't explain something in simple terms, its either fabrication or you don't understand it well enough...in this case i'd say both, anyone who considers this life and this realm a gift...deserves to be in an asylum....you are in a hell realm..where life eats life, animals eat each other alive 365 dpy 24/7...hpd...how blind do you have to be, 10'000 human diseases....not including animals...and he talks about penaltys lol.....humans are slaves...
